Every time we come back to Dobbes it has a small vineyard feel despite being such a BIG place. I love how the staff stays consistent. I love the events and themes. The spring hat event was super fun. I hadn't expected to drop the money on the hat but my daughter rocked it and she can have it forever and it's always going to hold the memory of that beautiful spring day!! I was honestly not too impressed with any of the featured wines but I did love the 18 Iibrary wine lol. Expensive taste runs in the family! I did enjoy the atmosphere, playing Cornhole and enjoying the weather!

We were welcomed warmly and happily they are dog friendly. Surprise! Free tastings in June 2025. As we were already excited about the sparkling wine and planned to buy some bottles it was just a nice plus. Our host was knowledgeable and friendly. So we had an enjoyable visit and are currently enjoying the wine we acquired.

Great wine selection of white wines, including a ambiance and the service. Really enjoyed the wine.

Lovely winery with great wines and great service. We sat on the covered patio which was perfect for a nice sunny afternoon. They have live music here as well on certain days which I will definitely have to return for. The newly released Rosè is my new summer favorite, it was packed with notes of watermelon and strawberries! It has a beautiful flavor profile, I look a bottle home with me and I will definitely return for more. Highly recommend

We came in with a group of 6 with reservations. We had come from Cathedral Winery and it was a horrible experience there. As soon as we walked in to Dobbes we were welcomed and seated quickly. The service was 5 stars all day long. Raelynn was our server (sorry if I spelled her name incorrectly). She was an absolute 10. We can't thank her enough for her awesome attitude and made our birthday trip a day to remember!!! Will definitely recommend!!!

We stumbled in this weekend ready to taste local wines for our up coming wedding. We don't know wine but Matt made us feel very comfortable. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is cozy, welcoming and rustic with a modern element. We found the wine delicious and the company enjoyable. We will be back!

Such a lovely winery with delicious wines! Stopped by while I was in Portland for a little late birthday trip and absolutely fell in love with This winery is located about 45 minutes away from downtown Portland near some train tracks. Although the weather was gloomy and cold, the outdoor space created by Dobbes was warm and absolutely gorgeous. They even brought out an extra space heater because they saw I was a little chilly. As for wine, we tried the flight offered at the time and I fell in love with the grenache blac so much so that we ended up purchasing two bottles to take back with us. We also ordered the charcuterie board they were offering and it paired well with the wines we tried.

This winery recently opened in the first floor of the Dundee hotel. It's closer to 99W so when you come in from the parking lot, you will pass a couple other wineries. This is one of five wineries and a restaurant that is in the first floor of the Dundee hotel. Our server was named Kalina, and she was so nice and personable. She had recently come back from working in a winery in Australia. I was impressed with her knowledge of wine, but she explained that she started working in wineries back when she was just 15 helping with events/weddings at a family friend's winery. She had worked at several wineries even though she was just in her twenties. The winery itself also had lots of charm and was very calming with the soft pink furnishings and relaxing sofa and chairs. The design was on point and chic. We enjoyed all the wines. Kalina even gave us a small bowl of gourmet popcorn to compliment some of the wines. I definitely will come back to this spot for another tasting or a glass of wine. Our server also said that on the third Thursday of every month they do complimentary pours and have either live music or artists at the various wineries in the building as part of a collaborative art walk within Dundee. Currently the wine tastings are $30 per person, but if you are a guest at the hotel they have a BOGO special. This winery is definitely a special spot to check out if you are planning a day trip to Oregon wine country. This wine tasting was definitely a highlight of my summer. Reservations and recommended, but definitely not required - and the experience was truly lovely.

We had a great time here, and while most the family does not drink a lot of wine, there was something for everyone here. The owner, David, greeted us as we walked in and sat us at the large table in this small tasting room. He sat with us for most of the tasting, describing the wines in detail, telling us the history, describing how the land around Oregon varies and how it impacts the wine. It was really interesting and he so helpful and open to answering all of our questions. You can tell how knowledgeable and passionate he is about his wines and he made our experience really unique. The wines themselves were great, and we left purchasing 2 bottles of the 5 wines we tried. While they have a variety of wines, their white wines, especially the Sauvignon Blanc and the Pinot Blanc, were phenomenal and I highly recommend. The tastings are really reasonably priced at $25 and their bottles were also well priced. The tasting room itself is very laid back and casual. It is decorated and feels as if you are just sitting in a relatives living room enjoying a glass of wine, so if you are looking for the instagram shot of a glass of wine over a vineyard during a sunset, this is not the place, but if you enjoy kicking back and enjoying solid wine in a more laid back setting with folks who care about their wines, then look no further!

Decided it was a beer day and vowed to buy some wine to take home for later. Simply stated, these guys rock. Have stopped in here a few times after adventures at the Pelican. Very cool, very down to earth. We showed up in our bike clothes( this is one relaxed tasting room) and were welcomed by Shawn, one of the owners. He had some cool music groovin', some old vinyls alongside the bar, and with my Pliny in hand, I wanted to spend the rest of the day here chatting up the locals. If I lived in town, you'd probably find me here more often than the Pelican. You can always find fresh Russian River beers on tap and for sale in bottles here. Ask me how I know? Why don't you ask them? :) The wine is really well priced, lots of Cabs and Syrahs, (try the Reversal Syrah!) and as they said on their menu, good for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday night drinking.... We noticed Chenin, Shawn's wife wasn't around that day and found she was at the PSU Farmer's market where they attend all summer. Shawn also told me you can find them Thursday evenings at another Farmer's market in the Pearl in Portland. Sweet. As much as I love coming to Pacific City, it's also nice to know we can find their wine in Portland in the summertime since they don't sell it retail in stores. An hour later, (maybe two?) we left smiling with two bottles of wine, the Basket Case Syrah and a red table wine in hand, and two empty pint glasses of Pliny on the bar.
