As a parent, finding the right dojo for your kids means everything, and Carlson Gracie Temecula has…read morebeen such a blessing for our family. Professor Tom knows how to bring patience and understanding to teaching young kids, while still holding them to real discipline -- and it shows. Even at just 4 and 6 years old, our boys already show him such genuine respect, and as parents, that's exactly what we hoped to find. Our boys have spent the majority of their training with Coach Dienekes, and we can't say enough about him -- his guidance and dedication have been a huge part of getting our oldest ready for his competition in two weeks. On top of that, Professor Tom still made time for a private lesson with him ahead of the comp, even with how busy he's been prepping other students for their own competitions. Above and beyond doesn't even cover it. You could feel how much care and love for the sport both coaches pour into these kids. The facility itself matches the quality of the coaching -- spacious, well laid out, and always clean and organized, with dedicated areas for the different classes and even a lounge for parents. You can tell how much pride they take in the place. We tried another gym before this one, and it just never felt like this. We are so grateful to have finally found our jiu jitsu home. Thank you for everything you do!

The entire team has been instrumental in our children's success, both on the training mat and at competitions. My wife and I were both multi-sport athletes, but neither of us ever practiced or competed in combat sports so while we weren't sure what to expect, we both understood what effective teaching/training looked like. From the first day, it was evident that the team was focused on developing comfort and confidence in the new students. They were both immediately assigned to an experienced student who made them feel relaxed and walked them through both the drills and lessons over the next few days. They quickly went from being a little scared of joining a class full of students with varied experience levels to requesting to attend class every day of the week. Of all the extracurricular activities they had tried, this was the one that ignited their passion the most. The professor, Tom Cronin, and the entire team of coaches do an excellent job of keeping the kids engaged by balancing expectations with both fun and recognition. They have a great sense of each student and how to motivate them to excel. They also steer clear of pitfalls we were warned of by friends who have children attending other academies, specifically promotions based on attendance as opposed to merit. At this gym, the children are evaluated on their skills and ability to execute the requisite moves. This encourages them to excel instead of just casually participating. Within 9 months they had developed enough confidence to compete and we were blown away at how well they performed against the competition from around the country. Most importantly, they had a coach prepare them the week before with one on one training and he was the one who attended the competition to coach both of them through all of their matches. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly for us, the academy doesn't just teach them BJJ, it reinforces core behaviors that we expect from our children - Respect, honor, and community. At the end of the day, we are all trying to raise the best humans we can and I can say with absolute confidence, that this academy is an integral part of that process for our children. I absolutely recommend Carlson Gracie, Temecula to anyone with any interest in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu.

I don't rush into reviews--I like to really experience a place first--and this gym has exceeded my expectations in every way. I originally started training here by myself, and now both of my kids train with me. They love it, and honestly, that speaks volumes. The environment is welcoming from day one. It doesn't matter if you're a doctor, lawyer, law enforcement, a mom or dad, or someone walking in off the street--once you step on the mat, everyone is treated the same. No egos, no nonsense--just a solid group of people pushing each other to be better. The professors are top-notch. They take the time to teach real jiu-jitsu the right way, breaking things down so students of all levels can grow. It's also pretty special to train alongside high-level practitioners while still feeling like part of the team. More than anything, this gym feels like family. The friendships I've made here--brothers and sisters on the mat--are ones I never would have found outside of jiu-jitsu. If you're looking for a place with great instruction, strong values, and an even stronger community, this is it.

The 30-minute classes for her age group are well-structured and well-run. Although I didn't enroll my daughter to improve her behavior, I've noticed significant improvement. She also falls asleep quickly at 8 PM now (MISSION ACHIEVED). My daughter likes and respects Mr. Andrew, and it is evident to me that the other students there feel the same. From Mr. Andrew, his mother who assists with the administrative functions, the (advanced) student teachers that assist with the classes and even the other parents... EVERYONE contributes to such a great learning and supportive setting. To provide full disclosure, Integrity Martial Arts is not the closest taekwondo option to my residence in Menifee, nor did they offer the lowest price when I was comparing different options. However, the class schedules offered, the frequency with which my daughter can attend weekly, along with the reasons mentioned above (and many more that I have not yet stated), are why I will continue to bring my daughter to Integrity Martial Arts. Additionally, I am encouraging my 14-year-old daughter to join at the start of the new school year (once we know her schedule for her other activities, etc.), and will likely sign up myself. If you are on the fence, without hesitation, I highly recommend giving Integrity Martial Arts a try.

Mr. Jawarish is a passionate young man who is eager to teach and represent taekwondo. We started about 2 months ago and we have been finding ourselves attending nearly every single session. Because of Mr. Jawarish's contagious kindness and passion, my son's attitude and discipline has matured. He is now just as passionate and encouraged to get stronger everyday! Because of this, we had decided to hold his birthday at the studio and wow. I would 110% recommend having your child's party here! They provide so much - including games and activities at such an affordable cost! His friends kept raving about it for days. This is a no brainer, guys. You get 2 weeks for free - and trust me, you'll see vast improvement within days of attending.
