Back in December last year, I joined this UFC Gym in Murrieta because of the recovery room amenities such as cryotherapy, PEMF machine, infrared sauna & etc. I signed up for the Champion membership at $140-$150/month, which included a guest pass. In February, new management came in and changed the policies with zero notice to existing members. Since the guest pass and full recovery access were the main reasons I joined, they offered me the Recovery Room membership at $69/month. I continued using the dry sauna and cryotherapy consistently, 2-3 times a week. Then this month in May, staff told me I'm not allowed to use the dry sauna anymore with a Recovery membership (only infrared). That was understandable but when I asked to use the bathroom, I was told no because I don't have a "gym" membership. The staff member then suggested me to upgrade to a full gym membership and condescendingly pointed out that "Recovery members usually pay $1,000 a year, and you're paying less," implying I should feel lucky for the limited access. I've been a consistent, paying member the whole time, yet I was treated like a second-class customer because I didn't fit their ideal customer profile? The communication is poor, good staff have mostly been replaced, and there's clear inconsistency. If you signed up with any kind of deal before, it feels like you're now treated like an outsider who no longer fits their system. The recovery amenities are good when you can actually use them, but the sudden rule changes, basic access denials, and condescending attitude make it very frustrating. If you're considering a Recovery membership here, be aware of these issues. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I cancelled this membership a year ago in person! Come to find I am still getting billed for it! I just cancelled online, and it made me pay the next billing cycle, when I called the gym to wave that fee since it was "supposedly" cancelled a year ago they said there is nothing they can do, because there is no paper trail of me cancelling the membership. Horrible customer service. If you cancel online or in store, follow up on checking your statements to see if they are still charging you. Ridiculous. Will reach out to corporate. read more

We first learned about this gym because we were looking for a place for a 13-year-old son to train for boxing. He went to a free class there on a Saturday and loved it! We signed him up for the gym and it included full use of the gym and any classes that he'd like to go to. They also gave him a month of the recovery room for free and that consists of massage chairs and red light therapy and cryotherapy. After signing up my son, my husband was able to sign up under him for only $19 a month which is great! We like the gym because it's always clean and the employees always greet you when you walk in. It seems people are there to actually work out and not hang out like it's a club. They have a really nice equipment and it's a good size gym. They also have lots of classes to choose from! We then signed up my son for boxing from a personal trainer. His trainer was coach Marcus and he was great. My son really loved working with Coach Marcus and he was so easy to work with. He taught my son so many different things and he encouraged him and overall it was a really good experience. We still belong to the gym and my son is still able to go to sparring classes on Saturdays and any other classes that he would like to go to. But I do agree that the music is a little too loud where you can't hear your own music clearly. I also find myself pretty warm in that gym even though I'm just walking on the treadmill or riding a bike. They do have the AC on, but it's still pretty warm to me. I do like that the treadmills and bikes have a fan on, so of course I always have the fan on. The gym also sells different protein, snacks, and different drinks and of course they have gear and towels for sale. And they're disinfectant bottles are always full so when you're done working out, you can wipe down the equipment. Overall, I do recommend this gym! read more

Well I at one time was a fitness instructor at holiday health clubs and Bally too. This facility is first class top shelf all the way. Every conceivable piece of equipment is available. Stay away. Where do I start. This of course is my opinion. 1) Music WAY too loud and horrible 2) It was better before becoming a UFC, not a bunch of lunk heads populate the place as if they are in line for the championship. 3) In contrast they have a kids time where screaming kids run around. 4) Not enough machines 5) Staff is not great and even rude. Also, stop calling me BOSS. 6) Treadmills have trash constantly in the cup holders - yuck - used kleenex. 7) Some lunk heads sit on a single machine while the staff chat with the lunk head. I watched one session take place for almost an hour. Never did get to use the machine. 8) Fees went up for my membership by 27% and I can not find a notice warning me of such an event in my email. This is a little on me, I did not keep an eye on my credit card statement. 9) There are way better deals in town - do some research 10) They have people unsafely (again, in my opinion) running around the gym and outside with medicine balls, threading the tight areas. 11) Some if the staff and trainers are loud and cussing up a storm. Firstly, this place surpasses any other gym in all areas, but I must take a moment to emphasize one particular person the works here! Victor Regalado! He is ALWAYS, all ways, cleaning the gym! I keep catching him disinfecting the machines whether it's the belts of treadmills, or control panels!! This place is fantastic, our whole family attends this GYM. Hi energy gym with well appointed equipment. UFC makes it easy to register with them. The classes are top notch, clean equipment and locker rooms. This gym by far is one of the most poorly managed gyms that I have ever belonged to. The staff is extremely unfriendly and does not greet you or acknowledge your existence. In many cases working out becomes a dangerous situation with small children running around in the work out area unattended while those that are focusing on working out have to dodge the children. Focus is very difficult as the music is so loud that it's distorted and even with the best earbuds you cannot avoid the terrible sound. Annual dues are hiked up every year without any notification which seems very deceptive. It's unfortunate that this gym is run so poorly!! read more

The absolute worst. Crunch Murrieta closed, and UFC opened, and automatically charged all previous Crunch members without their permission (and nothing in the Crunch contract allows for this). Their manager Ana George has a vile attitude and won't even talk to customers about billing anymore, meaning they're doing this to multiple people, and threatening collections. Terrible ethics. Terrible attitudes. Dishonest. Angry staff. Give your money to honest people, as a community let's not reward these people. I'll gladly update this review if they rectify the situation. read more

This is my home away from home. The team there is more family then just a gym crew. If you want to get your butt kicked make sure to take India's HIIT class. I've also trained with India for over a year and she is an amazing coach. She always has my wellbeing and health as her main priority. She challenges me and holds me accountable so I hit my goals. There's never any "sales pitch" like other gyms, so you can feel comfortable talking to the her or the team and know you'll be taken care of. Ari and the rest of the front desk and management team is great too. Always smiling and welcoming every time I walk in the door. Highly recommend if you're looking for more of a community and not just a gym. read more

Since taking over the old Crunch location, the UFC owner has consistently improved this building, its weights, machines and amenities. The staffing is awesome as well. We are regulars in the morning and Ari is always so nice and welcoming early in the morning. I also coach one on one with Marcus (hell of a boxing coach btw). Hey y'all Big Mike here, I have been going to UFC Fit Temecula (now Murrieta) since right after it opened in 2021. The old location was awesome, spacious, good equipment, pool, sauna, etc, however in November 2023 they were forced to relocate to a smaller building in Murrieta due to aggressive landlord shenanigans (apparently they are building apartments in the old location in Temecula). I'm not going to lie, the news of the move, and the move itself were pretty harsh, many people who pre-paid for memberships were left in the lurch. I feel these people could have been treated better because it wasn't their fault the gym moved, regardless of radius. During the move I shopped around for a new gym and I have to tell ya, a lot of them in the area are kind of garbage... cheap equipment, super packed, etc. I found myself going to EOS in Temecula despite the crowds only because they have heavier dumbbells (up to 140), but in the end I came back to UFC Fit because of the awesome equipment. With all that being said, the new location is pretty ok. It's central to folks in Murrieta and north Temecula. The equipment has always been stellar, not to mention plenty of TVs to keep your attention during those BS cardio sessions. The new facility is smaller so things are more condensed and it can get busy during peak hours, however for my money UFC Fit in Murrieta is still a premier gym in the area, and I would highly recommend at least a day pass to go in and check it out. So I called and they told me a totally different price much more expensive and told me to come in to get it figured out. When I got there to sign up, the price with start up fees and what not was almost 3x what was online AND much different than what the person was telling me on the phone. Through hard work, dedication, and the top certified trainers around. I was able to learn so much and grow as a human being. Their classes are always so full of life and energy. I'm going to write a review based on my own personal experience after starting in april at UFC fit murrieta, without having a prior membership in Temecula. the gym is pretty clean, the janitors are always on the move. they have versatile equipment and a reasonable price for the basic membership compared to local gyms nearby. and i have been to them all. the front desk staff and coaches are friendly, welcoming, helpful, kind. they have about 10 brand new stair masters compared to other gyms which usually only have 3-7. i was impressed when i first walked in and noticed SIX squat racks, so i am never having to wait around. the new saunas are open in the bathrooms and they have a recovery room near the front desk with various helpful tools for your body and mind. i tried the boxing classes which are intense and a killer workout. and finally, i've made some local friends through this gym whom i never would have met hadn't i joined. i am happy with my experience here so far, especially compared to other nearby gyms, and the only thing i would say is that it would be nice if they could alternate the rap/ hip hop music they are always playing with some rock, or other kinda of more mellow music, as it can be overstimulating at times. plus i do find it a little jolting what management did with previous members of the temecula location and memberships, as it does seem unfair. i hope this review helps. read more

This UFC gym used to be the UFC Fit in Temecula and moved with a couple weeks notice. Everyone who has a prepaid membership is being told too bad, no refunds because they didn't move the location more than ten miles. So for people like me who have given them hundreds-thousands of dollars in advance, we are left with a gym that is worse in every single way. Worse parking, half the space, no sauna, no steam room, no pool, no family room, worse location and bad customer service. They did give me three months of membership tacked on to my contact but I just wanted a prorated refund. I would not recommend prepaying to get a cheaper monthly rate, and I'm not sure what the going rate is for new members, but this gym is worth no more than $15/month the way it is now. read more

I'll admit, I was not happy that UFC moved from Temecula to Murrieta after I had prepaid in advance. I've licked my wounds and gotten my butt back in to the gym. Despite losing some of the amenities that the Temecula location had, you are still left with some awesome equipment. But mostly it's the people that make me love UFC. The people working out here are serious about their goals and always encouraging each other. The coaches are awesome. It's great to see the familiar faces of Angel, Marcus, India, and all the coaches helping people reach their potential. Can't forget Victor who has a smile for everyone. read more

Honestly embarrassing. They told us just a few days before that they were moving the gym 20 minutes away and keeping our already steep members prices the same even though the new location is smaller with less amenities. To make it even more embarrassing they opened this location and it's still under construction. The locker room is missing parts of the wall, sinks are taped off, half of the equipment isn't up, it reeks of paint. Just pathetic. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Gym is small, equipment doesn't work properly, weights are scattered. I bought a 2 year membership when gym was at the Temecula location. The place was big, there was enough equipment and machines and not crowded. They also had a heated swimming pool and lockers where big and clean. There was never a mention of gym moving lications. This new location is a joke, place is small and smells bad, dirty, no pool, and they merged the old gym members.
