Notice to allergy sufferers: this is a pet-free hotel! Hooray! These hotels are becoming rare, and…read moreI am grateful for the pet-free environment. I am reviewing this hotel in the context of Fairfield Inns and Courtyards, not Ritz Carltons. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I do have a few complaints. Some of the lights in the room did not work, and the hotel common areas tended to be warm. However, everything else was fine. The check-in process was flawless, parking was simple, and the location was convenient for our needs. Considering the limited number of hotels that are currently pet-free, I would definitely stay here again. Note to Marriott. It would make life easier if when making reservations on your webpage there was a button to click for pet free hotels. I have to dig down and search each one to find a safe haven.

There are no light covers and exposed wires. If you decide to depart the hotel early you can expect for them to charge you for an additional day. Really. If you need the money that bad just ask. The only bright spot was Ms. Santovia. Stay somewhere else, anywhere else would be better than this place. I should read the reviews before I booked because it's poor. I won't make that mistake again.

The TV in the room is far too small for the space. The elevators move at a snails pace. The gym is tiny and more than half the machines were out of order.

Once we got onto our floor the smell of mold hits you, but when we entered our room it got even worse. We had multiple friends enter our room at different rooms asking "what is that smell?" The room wasn't great but not horrible. The floor was sticky so we just wore shoes and socks at all times. The bathroom was older and worn down but functional. When we turned on the sink, it exploded as if it hasn't been turned on in forever or like there were major pipe issues. We settled in since we were really only here to sleep for the most part. The next day we got back from a long event day and my friends both showered and had ICE COLD water. Turns out the whole hotel didn't have hot water. I decided to wait until the morning to shower hoping I'd miss out on the cold water but no luck. I took a cold shower too. We tried calling the front desk as soon as it happened, but just got the busy tone. We tried calling multiple times from multiple rooms since everyone was experiencing this, with no luck! Someone in our group called from their cell phone, and was able to reach the front desk and they just said "they're working on it" and hung up. This clearly tells us they either shut off their phone or took it off the receiver to not get complaints. It took over 24 hours to get the hot water back on. During the time of our hot water not working, our toilet also wouldn't flush. Fortunately. It did again when we got back that night. But weren't able to get it fixed quicker because the phone line for hotel guests to call the front desk was turned off. There was no available drinking water the last day and a half we stayed here. I'm not sure if it's because all the water pipe issues but we had no access to drinking water at the hotel. They sold bottles of water before but when we asked to buy more they said they were all out. So we asked where their water fountain was and the front desk person, Jessica, said their fountain is unplugged. This was super frustrating as we were super thirsty and tired. We also called for toilet paper since we ran out and we're told to pick it up at the front desk. We asked for 2 rolls and we were left 1 on the front counter and there wasn't an employee was at the front to ask for another roll.
