They also make promises that they don't keep. I was promised the products I bought were returnable and they weren't. All I got was "they shouldn't have told you that." I bought a house with one of their spas already installed and it was only two years old. Like another reviewer stated, the sides are fading. It's also now broken. One of the pumps has broken and this spa is only 3 years old. The female answering the service line was extremely condescending and hung up on me after I said "yes" that I'd like a number for a referral. She also told me on the phone that repairing a spa was as important as fixing the tires on your car, which I disagree with. One of these things is a necessity and the other a frivolity. That's when she hung up on me.

There are no resources available that I can find on how to properly operate or maintain this spa. I would not recommend anyone purchasing one of these.

After years of a dead spa in my yard, I've had the Tuff spa system gutted and rebuilt with after market components. I now use the Frog Ease floating dispenser and it works perfectly balancing the levels. No more corrosion problems and the spa had been running for 6 months with the rebuild, longer than it ever worked with the original Tuff Spa build. Again, my advice, go to Costco for a better brand and better warranty. Stay away from Salt systems.

The manager Shane helped me with picking out a hot tub that fit my needs. I asked lots of questions as I would with any big ticket purchase. He didn't seem to like that but tried to answer all my questions. Once I decided on my hot tub he proceeded to write up my purchase order. As he was writing it up I noticed a few discrepancies. He started to get mad because I started to question him. He told me one thing as I was deciding on my hot tub and wrote a purchase order for another. He was very upset because I caught him in several lies. He was so mad he asked me to leave. I WOULD NOT recommend buying anything from this place. He's a swindler and a cheat.

During that period the sales office even followed up with us on if we were ready for delivery. Delivery was smooth. Hot tub ran flawlessly. We had one issue where a plug went bad randomly. We did and it worked! Needed a few replacement parts and they had those too. Expensive but these parts are hard to find and we needed them. They were very helpful! We won't go anywhere else.

The person I talked from the store said he'd have to figure out what the price should be. 4 hours later, he called me back and said the price was $249!! What?? $249?!?! He tried to justify the cost as they "guarantee" the product and I wouldn't get a warranty/guarantee from Amazon. - BTW, Amazon DOES have a 30 day return policy and Pentair has a very good warranty on all it's products. Sorry, but I know when I'm being had! A $160 difference? Please. I'm very disappointed!

My complaint is with the new pricing... They did increase the cost of the cleaning which I can appreciate as everyone is raising prices and if that had been all, would still be using them. What grinds my gears is the added $75.00 trip charge now in place. They did several hot tubes in my area and each of us paid the trip charge. So, they made an extra $150.00+ or more on the same trip. To me this almost price gouging. All of use where within 10 miles of each other, we are only 33.2 miles from the office. They have to drive farther to north Phoenix. Anyway, found someone local who is half the costs for the same service.
