And I love my haircut! 10/10 Some notes about the facility in general: the driveway is very steep and can be tricky. Also since it's on a very pushy street it was a challenge to turn left. It was a very hot day and the driveway was literally melting! A very nice touch was a welcome gift for first timers that had some trial products. Something I didn't know would be a good thing is that the skin care (massages, facials etc) are in a separate building next door (you just walk across the driveway). What I liked was that it wasn't noisy from sounds of hairdryers and laughter from people getting hair & nail treatments. You could hear the road a bit but was not bad. With my treatment, I choose an aromatherapy designed to stimulate the chakras and they use warm weighted neck pillows to help soften the muscle tension in addition to light pressure techniques. I spent an hour the next day reviewing "reviews" of local stylists at other salons...and...by the grace of God, found an incredible stylist. If this not the case, I will certainly bring it to her attention but I feel confidently that she is opening the gate. We have gates to contain the puppy while she is going through her training to become a service dog. It seems that they can only take one or two guests at a time. There is a changing room with robes and slippers and you also get wine while you get ready. There is a sauna there too. The first part was the scalp analysis which was really cool and gross to see up close lol. Then you move over to the head spa where the treatment begins the tables that you lay on massages and are heated. You also get a cold, weighted eye mask to wear. The treatment consisted of a lot of rubbing my scalp and combing my hair. It honestly felt amazing but a little too hard as my scalp was sore that evening. The experience ended with a blowout, which honestly was amazing and my hair looked incredible. I really enjoyed the head spa treatment and I definitely want to try that again. The interesting part of this experience was the staff honestly, they were friendly and definitely tried to make us feel comfortable however, they were very unprofessional, specifically the stylist that my friend had. The conversations that were had and topics that were brought up between the two stylists and brought up to me and my friend (customers) were inappropriate. Additionally, the head spa treatment for two people is listed on their website as an 80 minute session. My friend and I were there for THREE hours. How??? It probably had to do with the fact that our two stylists never stopped talking to each other during the entire appointment. This definitely took away from the relaxing experience I was hoping for. So overall, the treatment was good and I liked it. The ambiance and experience, not the best. Would I return? I would probably try another place first but this place isn't off my list.
