They even begged me to return, claiming they wanted to make things right and ensure I left happy. But when I didn't respond to their repeated calls, they changed their tone entirely and edited their response to now claim I was never even booked at their location. This is ridiculous, and I won't let it slide. I have full proof of my appointment--including screenshots of the booking clearly showing their business name, location, and time. I will attach these here. Stop bluffing and misleading people. If you think bluffing and trying to manipulate customers into silence is the way to do business, think again. If this continues and you persist in making false claims without accepting your mistake and If you continue trying to irritate me, I might have to take this an other way. This behavior is unprofessional, and frankly, shameful. This kind of dishonesty is exactly why I won't be coming back. If you care about professional service, clear communication, and respect as a paying customer--look elsewhere. My initial review: I had a disappointing experience at Pretty Brows and Beauty with Shanti. My appointment was at 6:15 PM, and I arrived 15 minutes early. Instead of starting on time, Shanti chose to attend to two walk-in clients while I waited in the waxing room with no explanation. She finally started with me at 6:25 PM--10 minutes late even by the scheduled time. What upset me more was the constant upselling. She pushed for bikini waxing and tried to talk me into facials I never asked for. I know what services I want, and I'm paying out of pocket--I don't need to be pressured into more. The waxing was rushed and sloppy, and the eyebrow threading was terrible--uneven and nothing like what I asked for. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. I'm sharing this so others are aware. I expect a refund for the poor service. Definitely won't be returning.

In addition to finishing my last few laser hair removal sessions, I've also continued seeing Maria for some electrolysis, and another IPL laser procedure used to lighten a very dark birthmark that's been an annoyance to me since I was a kid. Despite the fact that all of these things involve some degree of discomfort (as the quote goes, "beauty is pain"), Maria and her staff really make the experience as pleasant as possible. They are so friendly, and make the whole visit as comfortable as they can. I always know exactly what she is doing in the procedure, and throughout she keeps frequent tabs on how I am feeling and making sure the pain level is not too much. She is sensitive to not only how it feels at the time, but to how my skin reacts in the days after. After my first electolysis session, my skin was red and bumpy for a few days afterwards. When I told her this, she easily adjusted some settings for my second session, and my skin was back to normal much quicker that time. It's very clear she knows what she's doing. I love that I always feel like their attention is 100% on me - before, during, and after my visit. The treatments really are customized to each client's individual hair color and skin type. You'll feel like you are getting worked on by a friend - only a friend who is super knowledgable and highly trained in her field. The next time American Laser Centers rolls out yet another Groupon offering to zap Big Foot hairless for only $10 in Monopoly money, fight the urge...when someone is holding a laser next to your skin, you don't want the bargain, you want the best! I had a $40…read morepedicure + $10 for the shellac (all $50) and I walked away disappointed. 1) I have very thick heels which tend to crack and they don't grate your heels/feet here, they only buff, so no skin comes off. I told the man doing my feet that simply buffing my feet would literally do nothing for me because of my thick skin; he said to give him a chance & he used a small purple buffer (like the one I use every single day at home), and as expected, it did very little. My heels are still thick & heavy & it doesn't feel like I even got a pedicure. Very disappointed. 2) Even though the tech took his time cutting my cuticles, they are not clean & neat (as you can see in the pictures) 3) The polish is unfinished, as the entire nail is not covered. He also did not use a cleaning brush with polish remover to clean off the excess polish from my skin or around my cuticles. The Polish was also laid on very thick. From far away the feet/nails look OK, but upon closer inspection, you can see all the imperfections. I can live with that, but what really bothers me is that the skin on my heels is still there and thick, and there's a hair in the polish to boot! This pedicure may last me a week at best before I have to find another salon that provides the services I need to be satisfied. Not every client requires the same treatment or care, and I do expect a nail salon to provide whatever services are necessary for individual clients and their needs. This salon did not do that. They may be very good at nails and nail art, I don't know, but I won't recommend them for pedicures (as least not with this tech) and I don't see myself returning. Update: I used my own foot scraper at home and the amount of dead skin I removed is insane! I wish I would've taken a before picture, but I honestly couldn't wait to get all that dead skin of my heels! Now my heels and entire foot are smooth and feel light. Why they don't use foot scrapers at this salon is beyond me and makes no sense.

I was a little annoyed because of the wait as it didn't really seem like they honored appointments, but I waited nonetheless. 15ish minutes later they took me. I had two reference pics and asked for a quote. I was comfortable with what was quoted and proceeded to get the work done. The application and patience was flawless. The first design was the ring finger and it turned out better than the reference pic. The second applied was the middle finger which I wasn't a fan of so the gentleman did it over twice. Still very patient. I know he could tell I wasn't super thrilled about it so he offered to freestyle my pinky. I obliged and loved it. Sparkles are still there! He offered the thumb as well but I declined. To my surprise, price was still what he originally quoted me! All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place.
