Just got my nails done by Christine. Had an appointment for mani-pedi to get ready for vacation. I dont get my nails done often because of the cost, upkeep, and the fact that I wear gloves all the time and therefore you can never see them, but for special occasions I like to splurge so I dont have to worry about breaking a nail. I had a fantastic experience. Christine is very friendly and easy to talk to. She answered all my questions and was helpful in picking out colors and nail art. My appointment was at 10am, which is opening for them, and Christine was there, prepped and ready for me when I showed up 5-10 minutes early. She isn't overly aggressive when it comes to handling your sensitive cuticles and really wants to make sure you are 100% happy with your nails. My pedicure included a nice massage with homemade foot scrub (by the owner) and they also sell homemade cuticle oil. This was a great experience! Very clean and very friendly!! I got a mani/pedi today and am very pleased with not only the quality of the service, but the reasonable price as well. Christine was so nice and did a wonderful job on my nails. I will definitely be back! The only semi-cautionary thing I'd have to say is that it did take a bit longer than I'm used to. Just be sure to set aside a couple hours for yourself. It is well worth the extra time to have it done right! read more

It took me the last 2 years and multiple visits to write this review. I really wanted to love this shop. Jodi, the owner, has given me great acrylic sets and answers any questions I have. But every time I see a different tech and not Jodi, my nails come out like a freaking hot mess. Shapes are off, thickness, color is applied wrong. I've given up on this shop because it just isn't worth the $50 down the drain. That last straw was seeing a "new girl", which almost everyone I have seen have been "new girls". She didn't know how to make the proper nail shape, applied acrylic way to thick, and screwed up the polish so bad. They recent got the cat eye polish and she never used it, instead of listening to Jodi's directions she applied a thing coat, then cured it. When it didn't turn out right she repeated the process 5-6 more times. 5-6 coats of gel polish cured on a nail?!? Are you crazy? Then applied "jewels" with way too much glue. Posted pictures as I was fixing them at home myself. 2 stars because of you get Jodi, she knows what she's doing. Good luck on anyone else!! read more

I went to get my nails done by Cha'Tanya and she wasn't even there when I got there for one. I waited 15 minutes for her to get there, and then had to wait another 15 minutes while she decided to talk on the phone and grab herself a snack. These phone calls continued through out the rest of my time there. I only needed a fill-in and 3 replacements. this process took over 2 hours to do, not because of the quality of work, but because she continued to get distracted instead of focusing on her client. each nail was a different shape and thickness. one of my nails has already broken off after only 3 days. as i'm trying to remove the rest of them i realized that the acrylic is attached to my SKIN. they have been extremely painful to remove, layers of my nail bed are torn apart, and multiple fingers are bleeding. this salon was extremely unprofessional. read more

I have been searching high and low for a nail salon that can make my terrible nails look pretty. Every nail chop shop I go too just works quickly to get you in and out. Jodie worked on my nails and formed the extensions so that they looked better than my flat real nails. I couldn't be happier, they gained a customer for like with me! This is an amazing nail salon. Meg did my nails ( shellac french mani & french pedi). She did a fantastic job. She took her time and I had a great time talking with her. I have had a soak off, gel polish mani and pedicure done here. My technician for both appointments was Sam. She did a great job on both of my services and was very attentive and friendly. Had a wonderful experience here yesterday. Called on a whim to see if they could accommodate my mom & I for walk-ins and Latrice answered the phone. It was about 2:15 when I called and she said she could fit us in at 3, which I thought was awesome given the short notice. I got an old set from another salon soaked off because I was unhappy with it and Latrice gave me a new set. My nails are gorgeous. The shape is absolutely perfect. She took her time to ensure that everything looked great, checking in with me the entire time to make sure I was happy. Christine helped with my soak-off while Latrice worked on my mom's fill. She corrected errors that our old salon had made and my mom's nails turned out beautiful. We had great conversation and a lot of laughs during the appointment, which was wonderful in comparison to the cold treatment you get at a lot of other salons that treat you like a product on an assembly line. It's clear that the ladies at Get Nailed care about their clients and giving them a great experience. Will be back for future appointments with Latrice!!! read more

Be careful! Friendly staff, great massage. However I felt a slight pinch when she was doing my pedicure, then later noticed my toe was sore and had a chunk of skin missing. I hope it doesn't get infected. I won't be returning. read more

Apparently they don't do gel pedicures here. I live in royal oak but my boyfriend lives in Westland. I was looking for somewhere to get a pedicure while he was at work, this place had all positive reviews and both their website and their yelp page said they took walk ins. When I opened the door the lady giving a pedicure said hi then went back to what she was doing. There's no front desk to check in that I could see from the door so I started to walk into the salon to find somewhere to sign in since no one had offered to help me. Another lady looks up from her phone and says "are you here for Ashely" I said "no I don't have an appointment I was hoping to get a gel pedicure." She says "we don't do gel pedicures" and goes back to playing on her phone so I walked out. Their front door says "gel polish" on it. I've never been to a nail salon that doesn't do gel pedicures and regardless even if they don't they could have been a little politer about it. read more
