HORRIBLE I went there for my 18th birthday to get my nails done not even exaggerating 5 minutes after I left my thumbnail popped right off I go back I get it fixed not even 24 hours after my middle finger pops off I paid $110 for nails that look nothing like how I wanted every time I kept saying what I wanted, they completely ignored it and when I asked for a refund in the store, I only got $20 back they do not give good service at all and FOR SURE DO NOT GIVE GOOD NAILS my nails look like a 2 year old did them my gems are all different sizes my nails keep popping off from my cuticle to the fake nail there is a big gap I would not recommend going to this place they overpriced for a horrible nail job and will not refund you. read more

Terrible experience. Won't be returning. Looks like we're headed back to Terry at Paradise nail, up the street. We're only in metro Detroit for three days and it starts like this? Mrs. E. was getting nailed by herself today, fingers and toes. I'm running errands. After ninety minutes I return to find her almost in tears with the saddest look on her face and a shoddy-ass nail job. This is one of her few monthly pleasures. While I don't understand it, she looks forward to this luxury, days in advance. I decided to drive to the next parking lot and just listen to what happened. Refraining from altercation being the wiser path. Her story She had a 9:00am appointment and was the only person in the joint. Her fingers were finished except for a couple of mistakes. That's when a handful of walk-ins started to roll in. Rather than finish her up, the ladies immediately abandoned her and started the newcomers...especially those dressed to the nines. Money talks. You ain't loaded, you're waiting. Mrs. E. watched as each one of these ladies was pampered and fussed over, then returned to their cars and left. She was first one in, last one out. Two of her fingers were smudged-up, repaired, only to smudge again and finally just ignored. The kicker? She tipped them anyway which totally frosted me and prompted this novella. They had missed several areas and didn't finish painting her toes. I can't believe she finished their job and corrected their mistakes, then paid them. skip this place. dropped my daughter off here with my sisters and asked to pay before they started since i was leaving- the woman said "sure" but then immediately got to work on my daughter's nails. i realize now it's because she didn't want to give me the price up front. it cost $125 for my TEN YEAR OLDS nails. my mother in law spent $250. for literally a full set and a pedicure? that's insanity- my regular nail salon charges me $85 for a full set and pedicure and they do a better job. they charged an additional $15 simply to shape the nail. they were also rude to my sister when she asked to see additional colors. read more

I've had my nails done there three times and was happy with the results. However, I noticed that they don't clean their tools between customers, especially one of the male technicians whose tools seemed quite dirty. I think you're supposed to clean and sanitize your tools after each customer and open them in front of the next one before using them. Isn't that the proper way? Unfortunately, I won't be returning after giving them a third chance. read more

I had an appointment at 3:00 today. One gentleman started me, and passed me off to another woman. I had just started to soak in acetone, so she left me to soak a bit longer. Another customer came in, stated she was there for her 3:30. She went to wait on her. I sat there with my hands soaking in pure acetone for almost 20 minutes!! My fingers were white, so I asked out loud if I was going to be left soaking in acetone for any longer, and mentioned my fingers were discoloring. She left the customer, and was clearly pissed. I told her if she wanted to take the stuff off, I could go elsewhere. She did and then asked if I wanted to go now. I said I booked a 3:00 appointment for my nails and I'd like to have them done. Everyone is very caring! This it's a family owned business and it shows. Simon, the owner is always very welcoming and even greets me by my name every time I come in. Nathan has been doing my nails and her it's absolutely the most caring person! He makes sure I LOVE my nails. He is very thorough and takes his time. They are always busy so make sure you have an appointment with some wiggle room. If your patient, they will make sure to treat you like family. I live almost 30 minutes away, but I still choose to go here because of their excellent service. read more

Dip manicures with complimentary feces and bacteria. That's exactly what you get when a salon uses community dipping pots. My hands went from the gas pump to the car to the salon & right in to the powder. No washing, no sanitizer, just contamination. The second station I was moved to had not been cleaned since the last client - it was full of their nail dust. Additionally, a dip manicure (no need to remove anything but opi clear coat) was $45!! How?? Unsanitary conditions, cheap material and $45?? Also, I was in a chair with a tech 35 minutes after my appointment time, which I was early for. Never, ever going back. The more I thought about it after leaving for my next appointment, the more angry I was that I didn't say something the second he put my finger in that powder. The manicure looks nice after, now that I've cleaned all the cured polish off my skin, but I'm never, ever going back. Late & disgusting does not get repeat business from me. read more

I went to this salon 3 or 4 times. Anna and Mia both did a perfectly nice job. The last visit was a bust. I made an appointment for 5pm. I showed up early and waited. Finally at 520 I gave up and left. Mia was with another customer and didn't look to be done any time soon. The final straw was when a customer walked out and came back about 5 minutes later with Jimmy John's in hand. She proceeds to plop her big fat butt down and start eating a tuna sub and THEY LET HER.
