The moving is fast, and that's basically the only good thing. So my moving time window is 1pm to 5pm on that day, and they showed up at around 4:30pm, I'm ok with that because it's still in the time window. However, after moving, I found a big crack on my TV screen, and my massage gun was missing. So I called them, and they answered my phone fast, wrote down my name and phone number saying somebody would contact me and take care of it. However, I've called them like 10 times since then, and they replied me the same every time, just wrote down my phone number and name and somebody would take care of it. Now almost three weeks passed, nobody has contacted me, so I guess this might be their strategy when something breaks during the moving. I gave up for asking for the compensate, I don't even think there's anybody in their company taking care of this issue. Long story short, if you don't want your stuff break, don't choose this moving company. Spend a little bit more money on some other moving companies, at least they will keep your stuff in one piece. read more

RUN and don't trust these people with your possessions or your move. I don't like to post negative reviews but these people were SO bad that I felt I must. I hired them to pack a POD and a 26' truck. They were absolutely awful. I believe their lead guy was stoned on the job, my observation and opinion based on 66 years of living. I made two firm requests, pack it floor to ceiling and pack every shelf, drawer, nook and cranny. they started out ok while I was watching and occasionally checking but quickly became lazy and even lied about it. They threw things in boxes with zero protection, threw heavyweight items on top of delicate items, breaking them before the box was even sealed let alone moved across country. They showed up late. They showed up without supplies and then asked ME how many supplies they needed. On the first day, 4 show up, as expected, only to have 2 leave after one hour, to go to another job for "an hour ". The 2 they left behind didn't speak any English and my Spanish is very limited. They were actually very good workers but I couldn't fully understand or communicate with them. FOUR hours later, no word from them and no way to contact them. Tried the owner over and over again until he finally answered only to tell ME to have grace since he's going through bankruptcy. seriously? who says that to a customer. And no, I wasn't being a Karen. One of the clown workers kept lying to me when I'd ask what he was doing. for example, I see a very large oversized wooden shelf on the driveway wrapped in plastic and ready to be loaded. the shelves were all empty. I pointed this out (for the ump -teenth time) and the clown says that is how it's done saying they brought it out to fill it. Such a stupid lie. They built a furniture wall inside the POD and were throwing a bunch of my blankets (which I told them to save out for furniture wrapping) over the "wall". When I asked what was going on, the "lead" tried to tell me that is how it's done. I climbed up to look over this wall to find a huge vast hole filled maybe 2/3 full and covering at least 4-5' length. I could write a book about all the garbage they tried but it ended when the owner failed to respond to 2 emails and 3 texts detailing everything going on and refusing to answer. When I finally did speak to him, he didn't acknowledge the problem but instead said, "ya I saw some about some seashells " like some condescending creep. I kicked the crew off my property with some profanity laced vocabulary and had a total panic attack. One pretended to be concerned until he said, "we can't leave until you pay us". I told them I'd only deal with the owner and had no intention of paying them full price. They threatened to unload the truck and this big fat one stood inside the truck while the other 3 stood behind the truck menacingly. I had to call the police. There was so much more but I would have to write a book. If you care about your stuff, run like heck from these horrible people. read more

Greek Movers are competitively priced, but their customer service went above & beyond. Our moving team consisted of two guys, Jacob & Ronan. They both worked diligently to get the job done. Buddha, Chino, & Tyler came to our house on time, wrapped and padded all our furniture professionally and transported everything without a single scratch or scuff to the new house within their minimum time frame. These guys work hard, have great attitudes, and take care of all of your furniture as if it were their own. Another place said that they couldn't move a new dresser upstairs that they just delivered and I paid extra for them to do so, so I called Greek Movers. Hired these guys back in June to move my moms antique china cabinet and take some trash. They broke the original glass on the cabnet! Told me give him 2 weeks to get it repaired. I have called and messaged them with no response! We are now 12 weeks and still no china cabinet and no response! Very unprofessional! When he told me they broke the glass, I told him that was the original glass and has been in our family for over 50 years, he just laughed. I used this company 2 weeks ago and am still finding things broken. I actually have more damaged items than not . Including large items like my couch , tv and dressers. Pictures the list goes in. When I confronted them I was told shit happens :( the one guy was very argumentative and disrespectful to myself and other family members. Who says that ? And to a customer who you just damaged or destroyed their personal items. I was shocked. I was offered a discount of $120.00. When the bill was well over 6 k. I ended up getting 300 off the bill but as anyone can imagine that is not even close to covering that kind of damage. These guys were great! They came out to do an estimate, scheduled us promptly, and helped move my parents out of state with such ease. Benny and Chino were fantastic movers. So careful, helpful, and just a great team of guys. When the move was done I had found a large area of damage to the stairs in my home, we had just installed flooring in our new home. When I contacted Peter (leadership of some kind) he was responsive at first but after time passed stopped responding all together. Peter came out to take a look. I showed him what was going 222 miles away. I had 4 quotes from movers. Peter was 2nd to lowest, I chose him because he did see what I had to move, along with my list. They called to let me know they were running behind. Not a problem with me, because my personal help bailed out on me; and I was behind packing one room. They more than made up for time. They loaded the truck up super fast. The truck was not large enough.....but my storage would not have been able to accommodate the stuff they left behind. So it all worked out. They loaded the storage fast and neatly. I left a 15% tip. Wish I could use them when I unload the storage.....but I'm too far. Glad it all worked out. Moving is stressful. read more

This was my second time using the Greek movers for a move. Both times they got me through my moves in an efficient manner. My contact, Peter, was very communicative open and honest with me regarding pricing, details of the day, scheduling etc. Day of --they had a few unexpected problems and while I was so overwhelmed the Greek movers kept moving along and made the whole thing very smooth. Their guys work really hard to keep organized, to ensure that your items are well wrapped, preserved, and not damaged in transit. My only note would be two out of the three movers were blaring music, and while I am a big supporter of putting music on to help the day go by, help keep your pace, they were completely conflicting genres of music and very loud which made things a little overwhelming for me. Again that might just be more of a "me" pet peeve. One last thing that I didn't note is that they left items that we had instructed them to take at the old location, and insured me when they arrived at the new location that everything was done. So I was left with taking a few heavy items by myself. I also color-coded each room with coinciding boxes/bags and quite a few boxes were miss placed in incorrect locations that's creating double work for myself. Super small- more inconvenient things. I wouldn't say this overall changed my opinion on them I would 1000% use them again! read more

I wanted to like this company and my experience, but I would never recommend them or use them again. The 2 young guys that came, showed up late but they did have positive attitudes and worked pretty hard. Their job was to help load our heavy/large items into our POD. When they showed up they said they could only take cash. My husband had to call me from my son's sporting event to go to the atm and bring the money by. They did not have plastic wrap at all. I asked them to use it and I could hear one guy asking the other if they had any. Then I contacted peter and he said they should have some and they know what furniture should be wrapped. I had to leave to go back to my kids' game and trusted they'd wrap items. Nope! They ripped a hole the middle of our queen size mattress. The queen mattress has black marks from them pushing it across the floor. Both my kids' mattresses have black dirty marks on them. The couches were also not wrapped. I got home toward the end of our service. As I did a walk around I found random screws and hardware that belonged to our beds in different rooms. They missed them and didn't put them in the bags when they disassembled. We unloaded the POD today. Spiders were found on the couch, which, if they were wrapped with plastic, could have been avoided. All the bed frames and parts were mixed up, so who knows how long it will take us to sort through this mess. I'm really disappointed with our experience. Our items should have been handled better, workers should have been on time, and items should have been organized for easy assembly. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I AM NOT ALONE, READ THE 1 STAR REVIEWS! *** we have called 3 times so far to get our complaints addressed and will continue to call near-hourly until we get a return call from the owner*** Worst experience I've ever had. We booked in April for our May move. I got a call asking to change my move date a few days prior which we couldn't do followed by a request to consolidate everything we could into boxes which we did since they would "just rent another truck" to move us since they had a truck going to Texas the same day. He was aware we had many abnormally shaped items like couches, outdoor furniture, a grill, and shop tools and stated at the time of booking that they could move that, as many professional movers I assume would. They show up and the lead mover says "oh we won't be able to move all of this" even though this is our agreed upon stuff and is nothing more than a standard amount of things for a family with two children and some power tools in a standard 4 bedroom home with a garage. BUT they stated they would be able to move them so we booked assuming they would do what they agreed: move our stuff from A to B. The lead mover (a 21 year old) who was in charge walked in and said "this all won't fit" and "sorry, my boss does this a lot. He should actually do walk throughs and see what needs to be moved and he would have seen this wasn't going to work". This was the DAY OF the move so there was no chance to book anyone else. He stated we would need another truck and it would be $2800+ more than what was originally agreed to AND we would have to go rent the truck ourselves AND we would have to drive it ourselves. I cried, I'll admit it. I had already worked so hard to "consolidate into boxes" as requested and now I would have to go through all of them to see what I actually had to have and what we could leave. They kept asking "oh we're taking that too?!" And it was a $1300 grill... of-F-ing-COURSE we are taking that! They were so proud of themselves that they were able to fit our kayak and was waiting for kudos having done so. That is when the truck was near "full" (even though there was plenty of space to be stacked to, they just didn't know how to actually pack correctly to make it work, maybe they should have actually disassembled everything like they said they would in the contract like my dining chairs they kept intact that got damaged). They were not really paying attention to the fact that we were leaving another 13 boxes, 5 of 8 chairs that matched my table, stools, outdoor furniture, the list goes on. They finally got all of our stuff up to our destination having left all of that. When we looked at nearly ALL of the things they "wrapped" they were all damaged in one way or another (see pictures). Not ONCE did the owner call me to make amends with how shitty they were or inexperienced or slow or how they honestly didn't seem like they were professional movers, just a bunch of 21 year olds doing an odd job. I had to fly down the next day and rent my own uhaul to get all of my meaningful stuff they left behind. It cost me another day of travel, another day not playing with my kids, and $750 in uhaul and gas. Just a disgusting experience that I will never go through again. After unpacking now I get to see that they lost half of the hardware to the things that were taken apart. Please don't hire these lying swindlers. They will quote cheaper than other companies but screw you hard in the end. read more

The actual moving crew was great. Super nice guys. Finished fast. Buuuuuuuuut, the administrative/ business end is no good. When I requested a quote I got phone calls and no estimate. I was verbally told the per hr price and the 3 hr minimum. The company sent me a bunch or unreliable emails and information. Took all day to get it scheduled and even that was up in the air. When the final bill came, there were two fees that were a surprise. And yes, I don't feel good about needing an hr of labor and paying for 3. I wish they had an alternative. Greek movers did some junk removal for us. Great communication, prompt response time. Arranged a crew to assist us at the last minute when we needed help the most. Greek Movers ruined our brand new home, causing thousands of dollars in damages. We hired Greek Movers to move our furniture into our new-build home. First, they arrived two hours late. We did the majority of the work for them by having all of our boxes in the front room of our house, all they had to do was move everything onto their truck, and then unload in the correct room in the new house. While delivering our furniture/boxes, they chipped our new front door, chipped our new staircase railings, lifted the new vinyl of the laundry room, and left our new walls filthy. Not only did they damage our new home, but they also left furniture in our old home that we had to go back and get ourselves. Upon discovering the damages, we texted the owner of Greek Movers, Peter, and he has been unresponsive. When he did finally respond, he gave us the incorrect phone number for their insurance company to file a claim. It has been over a week since this incident and we still haven't received a correct phone number. Hiring Greek Movers is the worst thing we could've done. BUYER BEWARE, they canceled our move a week before our move date. During what is the most stressful time, a move into our 1st home they CANCELED A WEEK BEFORE. We had asked if boxes were provided with the move they said yes. When we asked for our boxes they brought about 15 out. When we asked for more peter called and canceled the entire appointment a week before the move because it was "to much work" I really do not understand how people like this stay in business. ___________________________________________________ In response to the reply. You gave us a military discount that your company advertises on your website. We offered to give you the deposit, today right before you canceled our move because it wasn't "cost effective" suddenly. You offered boxes as part of the move so we could pack our house. We made that very clear and you said "Not a problem" This was never non-negotiable this was simply a promise that you made as a part of the price. We even said, the moving boxes are not that big of a deal we can get some and you still canceled on us. you already had your mind made up. So dont lie in your reply and make it seem like we made a couple of boxes a big deal. You didn't communicate that the boxes are not something that you could accommodate. Next time just say that. Dont cancel a move on a couple buying there 1st home within a week of their move. Beware of sticky fingers! I hired Greek Movers to move my furniture & things. Only to find out that my kitten went missing. She's an indoor cat who's never been outside since so many coyotes in the area. I figured she got out, but strange she was no where to be found. Today as I was cleaning, I found her collar, in corner floor...it was unsnapped so no way she would have taken off her own collar. I truly believe one of the movers (Maurice, Justin, Trent and Elijah) took my kitten. She's beige Siamese-Calico mix. Also missing is our gray hand truck (dolley). The initial beginning of placing the order with Sarah and then being contacted when scheduled due to arrive time was good. After that point it went downhill. The two movers, Phillip and Joe were here for a period of 3 hours approximately to move a bed, a sofa, shelves and a few other items. They dropped furniture (seen done in the hallway), scraped dresser which has to be repaired, scraped the bed which cant be repaired, dinged another dresser. Another scrape on the new apartment door. They hit newly painted walls. Lost a carpet protector for the bed which they claimed wasn't there in the beginning which it was as the size is hard replace for the feet of the bed. These are supposed to be professionals, but our neighbors let us know that they overheard them seriously complaining about the work they had to do. There was a total of about 10 items. They also damaged the mattress by rolling it instead of carrying which damaged the internal springs. I was planning on offering water as a courtesy as it was a warm day, however, they asked for bottled water on numerous occasions which luckily we had since we were moving and have a few left in the house and continually asked for more bottled water at least every 1/2 hour (Professionals bring their own water). After having experienced the stress of seeing our furniture damaged and the door of our new apartment (which comes out of our deposit) we were asked to settle the bill whereupon they asked for a TIP? We originally planned a good tip, but after the inconsiderate and poor service and damage, we did not feel a tip was worthy. On top of the move and damage we have to pay to repair items. If asked if I would use their services in the future, - NO!! Be warned. read more

They stated they'd return in the morning to finish the job, but they were a no-show (even though the owner assured us they were en route). This left us scrambling to find another moving company. Problem #2: CROOKS My parents (who are seniors) entrusted this company with their belongings, only to discover damaged furniture and a missing armoire. In addition, several small items have come up missing. Peter Kaffen (the owner), will not take our calls and sends us to a voicemail box that is full. Meanwhile, we have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Save yourself the headache and find an honest and reliable company. This is not the one. read more

First off a huge shout out to Frankie and Maurice. They helped my mom move the day after Christmas on short notice from redlands to Beaumont. They were prompt and friendly. They called to give us a heads up when they were close. They greeted us with masks on, which was great because my mom is older and because of covid. They wrapped all of our furniture and safely moved a ton of fragile items. They got to the new house and unloaded everything quickly and safely. They even helped us by moving some heavy dressers that were in the garage. I would recommend Greek movers 100%! I can't say enough good things about this moving company. The guys that moved my stuff were super polite, respectful, friendly, careful with my belongings, and got the job done quickly. Their prices are very good compared to other movers in the area as well. The only small complaint I have was that they were late. I had a start time slot scheduled between 10am-12pm and they didnt show up until around 2:30pm so they were not punctual. I personally was not rushing so it didn't bother me too much, but if you're on a tight schedule just know there is a possibility they might not be on time if they are running behind on a move scheduled before yours. With that being said, Dwight did call me to let me know they were going to be late at 10:51am and I appreciated that. I would definitely recommend this moving company to anyone looking for a job well done, and will use them again if I ever need to move. The negative reviews are valid!!! Don't ignore them... Peter is completely unresponsive and will not reply to texts or answer your calls if you have any issues. Very unprofessional and honestly I feel scammed. We used them previously and it was great. Had two movers to move us from a 2 bd apt to another 2 bd apt and they were done in 3 hours total. Quick, easy and professional. So we decided to use them again. We were told get 3 movers so it will be even faster as they charge hourly. So we did. Kevin, Vince, Mike B Flash forward to moving day, they arrive 30 mins late, didn't even apologize. One mover would come and pick up a few boxes and casually stroll to the truck and then another would come after him. SLOWLY. They were on their phones, vaping and talking. The third hardly even made a trip. He stood in the truck on the phone. THREE hours later (to clear a 900 sq foot apartment) they take off for 1.5 hrs with our stuff and go on lunch. This is how valuables goes missing... very uncomfortable with this. We called the owner and expressed our concerns and of course nothing came of it. They took 3 hrs clear our 900 sq feet Apt. (2 bedrooms) and only 1.5 hrs at our 2000+ sq feet two story house (3 bedrooms) ..... that doesn't make sense. That goes to show how slowly they were going with the intention of racking up the time on the clock. At the end of the day, not only did they charge us for their leisure time, they over charged us $103. After many attempts to reach out to Peter, he's continued to ignore us and not help us with that. The greek Movers were punctual and kind, but did an absolutely terrible job with the moving process. I wanted to hold off on this negative review for as long as possible, but this was the last straw. I went with them a few months ago due to their good reviews, but in retrospect, I really should've listened to the negative ones. They ended up chipping mqultiple walls of the interior of the house that we moved into, destroyed our furniture items, instruments, and more. In all, they caused tens of thousands of dollars of damages to valuable antique furniture items and instruments during our move. I attempted to reach out to them on numerous occasions regarding their cargo insurance policy, but was told that the boss wasn't available and to "email" or that "I'd receive a call back." This could not have been farther from the truth, as I received no response after 7-8 calls and emails to their company. Fast forward a few months, and I finally decided to reach out to the Better Business Bureau. The Greek Movers didn't respond to the BBB either, so I just escalated my case to the attorney general who'll be doing a proper investigation. Please - look somewhere else for your move.
