Carlos, Carlos and Bruno HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK! I've moved 12 times in the last 10 years and this by far was the move of all moves. This move and this team redeemed every other move and experience I've ever had (with other companies) with moving. We moved from a 2b2ba condo and the team was communicative and helpful during booking and even flexible with my last minute changes the day before when we decided to add a 3rd mover to our reservation. Carlos x2 and Bruno called me when they were about 20 minutes out from arrival, they worked efficiently and were extremely respectful of property and all items we were moving. They took direction well, were beyond professional and courtesy and truly made the experience an enjoyable one. This company charged me $977 to move one bedroom. No appliances, no washer, no refrigerator, no oven nothing heavy. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I had a sectional sofa, 1 large dresser, one small, an empty wooden chest, an antique mirror, another mirror, 2 portable AC's, a bed, a bed frame, 2 TVs, some fans and about 20 large boxes total. When purchasing the boxes I thought to myself, let's get the large ones since that might be cheaper than small boxes. While packing, I realized the large boxes weren't the best idea because I didn't want to make them too heavy. So I had to go back and get more boxes it ended up being about 20 large boxes (all halfway filled due to my mistake) and I have the receipt from Lowe's to prove it. I even moved all the boxes to the living room/dining room area so they would be closer to the door. I am mentioning all of this to emphasize the fact that I truly did not have that many items. I am a single woman no kids and a third grade teacher. I was moving one bedroom, a living room and a bathroom. Didn't even take my dining room table. The movers were scheduled to arrive from 2-5pm as they had just wrapped up a morning job of moving. After moving an entire project in the morning, I am sure that these movers were tired. They arrived to my house at 4:30 after telling me that they would be there at 3:15 then began to move. They started at 4:30 and began moving all the boxes with no real sense of urgency. They definitely looked tired. The entire move took 7 1/2 hours!! My sister came to the apartment that I was moving into to see what was going on and she was in absolute shock that they had not finished unloading the truck yet my sister saw the amount of items that I had and there was no reason that this move should've taken 7 1/2 we had to tell them several times that we would unwrap the furniture and to just unload quickly. We even offered to help unload to speed things up they insisted no, we were not employees we cannot help. I wanted to cry around 10pm as I was calculating the cost of $139x7 hours. My sister was horrified when she left my apartment and I told her that it had taken already 7 hours. When it was finally time for them to be finished, the guy looked me straight in the face and told me $977 I literally almost started crying. Never in my life have I ever spent almost $1000 on a move. EVER. It was already 11:15 PM and I was so exhausted at that point I ended up sending $922 to the guy after he did some weird calculation on his phone then asked me to Zelle him the money but didn't even know the guys correct Zelle information and took an additional 20 minutes trying to call him on the phone to figure out what his first and last name was so could send him the Zelle. At that point I was so tired not in my right mind to argue, I just paid him the money. Then after he left, he sends me a text message asking me to send an additional $50, that he made a mistake on the calculation and if I didn't send it, it would be taken from his pay so in total I paid $977. I called my sister the next morning and she told me that I should not have paid them and I got scammed. There is no way that that move should have ever costed almost $1000. I consulted with friends and family and everybody agreed that no move for a single woman of one bedroom should ever be $1000. I called the next day crying to one of the floor managers saying that I felt like I got scammed, I felt ripped off. He said he would reach out to the owner of the business about at least refunding me one hours worth of time $139. I had to argue and barter with him for him to accept at least a refund of $200. I wanted $250 refunded, he refused. I did receive a refund of $200. In addition, I noticed the next day that two of my lamps were missing. I included that with my complaint at the cost of this moving service, I should have perfect flawless service with no missing items. It took them 5 days to return my lamps and when they finally did my lamps out on the sidewalk near the street! I am unhappy with the $200 refund. I do not feel like my move should've ever costed anywhere near that much. I would be comfortable with spending maybe $600 maximum for one bedroom move from Long Beach to Torrance. This company was absolutely ridiculous and I think they let the clock run purposely and were both tired from the morning move. I am so shocked by the amount of the positive reviews. If you continue to read down the list of reviews, I saw 3 to 4 others that have a similar complaint as me. They are very expensive and charge way too much for their service. I saw other families being overcharged and the movers taking a ridiculous amount of time. I feel maybe they took advantage of me because I was a single woman by myself and they just let the clock run or they were tired from the AM move. This was way over budget and I'm still very upset. As my husband and I were preparing to move we knew we needed help. After calling several moving companies we decided on Mover's Best because Alex, who quotes us, was thorough and had great customer service. Their pricing was also very very reasonable!! After we booked we received a confirmation text and a reminder the day before. On the day of the move we were so stressed out because we were moving from a 4 bedroom 3 bath tri-level townhouse to a 2 bedroom 2 bath place. In addition to that we had to move some items to storage and it felt like the move would take all day. HOWEVER, when Bruno, Carlos and Pedro arrived we took them through all the rooms and explained what was staying ( so we can junk) and what was going to the new place and what was going to storage. Once they got started the were none stop! They loaded the truck taking so much care of our items. We could not believe it but they were able pack our old house move to our new house (which was very close) and also helped us take the remaining items to storage. They did all this in 3 hours! They were AMAZING and we cannot recommend them enough. They were so very nice, polite and so professional! Very expensive $219/hour and they charged a $100 premium for moving the fridge. They wrapped everything nicely but after the second load we had to go back to find they left a bunch of stuff there we had to get and there was plenty of room left in the truck when they arrived after getting the second load, so it's not like they ran out of room. What made me mad was when we paid them and gave each of the guys a tip the lead guy basically said it wasn't a big enough tip! How rude! This whole job was over $2200! I had expected it to be between $1600-$1800. This was the most I've ever paid for moving. At $220 an hour for 4 guys, that's $55/hr each. That's more than I make. read more

Charged a extra $100 fee supposedly due to my refrigerator being too heavy. Their own contract says fee is for taking item upstairs. This item did not. They should have called for a 2nd truck. He arrived on time and his crew began working promptly. They were friendly and worked quickly. It y ook about 2 hours to load a 3bdr house (including 2car garage and patio) onto their truck. When they arrived at my new location, they began unloading right away. I appreciated how careful they were to not scuff or damage my belongings, walls, carpets, etc. I really want to commend them for how kind and responsive they were in needing to organize the single car garage in a certain manner so that I may start parking my vehicle asap. This is one of those situations where I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My family and I used Movers Best recently to help with a move from a 3 story unit to a 4 story unit. They are amazing. Bruno, Carlos and Triston arrived early and were so efficient with their time. They handled our belongings with care and made sure to wrap furniture that needed to be wrapped. They made sure that the each TV was transported in a tote and made sure that the TVs were all on their stands and in working order before they left. They even went above and beyond and fixed the legs on a couple of dressers that have been damaged for years. We have used a couple other moving companies in the past few years and Movers Best is by far the best one. They are very professional, friendly and extremely efficient.
