So I tried to return them, which I thought would be simple because it was within 24 hours, I had the receipt, there was a clear discrepancy between what the box advertised and what was inside---but no. Absolutely would not give me a refund OR exchange, and they weren't very polite about it, either. Treated me as if I'd done something wrong, or underhanded!

This location has a lot of clearance and big mark downs. Some things are a little more expensive, but they are still way less than at the normal department store. I've bought so many things from Madewell over the years but I won't anymore since they can't even try to be accommodating.

A few months ago, my husband was with me at the Creekside location and was standing outside the dressing rooms holding my purse. One of the women there rudely asked him what he was doing there. He was nicely dressed and neatly groomed and it embarrassed him. He politely told her that he was waiting for me while I was trying on clothes. She didn't bother to apologize. It wasn't rocket science, he was holding a purse in a clothing store waiting for his wife. He didn't tell me this until we were home, which is probably a good thing. I called the district manager about it, and apparently he didn't find it necessary to fire this rude woman because she is still there. I avoided this store for quite a while but I was in the area and went back a few days ago because it was the first day of their big sale. Nothing there has changed. The women there do not greet you when you walk in, my shoulder was about to break before anyone offered me a dressing room and when I got to the checkout, one of the women made it very clear that she was much too busy to help me so she sent me to a woman named Nancy. Nancy was impatient and unfriendly and rude. I was trying to look at the tags and she very bluntly told me that she would take care of it. She charged me too much for one of the blouses, but I'm not going back there to show her the error. I was trying to talk to her, but I couldn't hear her because the rude lady who told me she was too busy to help me was yelling numbers and information to another woman across the store. Really? This couldn't wait? The Foothill store wraps your purchases neatly in tissue paper and asks if you would like boxes for any of the garments. Nancy shoved my garments in a bag like they do at Walmart. I have two sisters who live close to that Chico's and have had similar experiences and now drive to the Foothill store. I would suggest that the Creekside ladies learn some manners and customer service from Susan, Linda, and the other ladies at the Foothill store.

came here on black friday, i brought my mini backpack because i was out photographing and my…read moregirlfriend insisted on shopping here. my mom ended up calling me halfway through my time here and i answered and went through my bag to show a pair of socks i previously bought at a different store. while doing this a worker started pointing at me and laughing at me to her friend. she then rounded up 4 different worker to follow me around the store as i just tried to find my girlfriend and leave while talking on the phone. the entire time i was just chatting about the deals at the other shops loudly so the 4 people would maybe stop stalking me and laughing at me TO MY FACE. they'd come up really close to me and ask me how my shopping experience was super close to my face, i know theyre trained not to confront people who may be shoplifting but it honestly felt harassing. i didn't want anything from the store anyways and just wanted to please my girlfriend by entering and occupying myself as she shopped. instead i have teenagers pointing and laughing at me while im just trying to talk to my mom on the phone. they also were talking loudly about how they need people at the front and were fully pointing st me and giving me a dirty look. it was the WORST shopping experience i've ever had. i can understand trailing me silently because i had a bag and was going through it at one point, but there was no need for a spectacle and trying to humiliate me it and call me dumb to your friend LITERALLY 5 ft away from me.

Anyway, we found ourselves in the Traverse Mountain Outlets yesterday and my wife wanted a new pair of denim jeans. We saw the Levi store, and went in. We were immediately greeted by a cheerful employee and when we said we were looking for shorts, she didn't skip a beat and asked "men's or women's sizes?" I loved that she didn't assume anytime. My wife wears men's pants and shorts almost exclusively and hates when people assume otherwise. It wasn't long before we had a few pair that my wife wanted to try on. We were hesitant, not knowing if dressing rooms were open yet-you know, Covid and all. Another employee noticed our hesitation and invited us to pick any room and go ahead and try them on. We ended up leaving with a couple pair of perfectly fitting Levi's. (I can call them that because they actually are Levi brand.) The price was a little steep-a little over 100 dollars for two pair. But from what I know about the brand, they should last awhile.

I am always impressed with how helpful the staff is without being annoying like some stores. All the tables and racks of clothes are always clean and maintained as I'd expect from a store. This helps so much with finding sizes in clothes I'm interested in. Also would like to note that this location has recently been remodeled and done very nice.
