All of the machines seemed like they were bought yesterday, but also super high quality. Despite the size and lack of room of most gyms, JB had everything I needed for my workout. This is a really nice weightlifting gym in northern Fresno. They have numerous lifting platforms in different shapes and sizes, as well as different types of squat and bench racks. There's multiple types or barbells, and bumper/metal plates in both lbs and kilos, including smaller denomination plates. There's also tons of accessory machines, a GHD, and even some cardio machines for warming up. There's also a large open area for sled pushes, sprints, etc. This is one of the most comprehensive gyms I have ever been to in terms of range of equipment, and if you can't find what you need to complete your workout here, it might not exits. Two minor criticisms: the first is that the bathroom definitely had some dirty areas and some things that were out of order/needed repair, and the price of a day pass ($35) is a bit high, even for a gym like this. It's basically one large open space where everything is mixed together--treadmills, weightlifting, and machines all in the same area. There are a couple of smaller rooms off to the side, but for the most part, about 95% of the gym is just one big open room with equipment stacked everywhere. It can honestly feel a little overwhelming. When you look around, it feels like a zoo at times with a huge number of people bouncing from one machine to the next. That said, I didn't really have an issue waiting for machines, even when it was busy--it's just crowded almost all the time. On the positive side, they do offer a lot of amenities: a pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and showers. I used the steam room and showers, which were nice, but keep in mind you need to bring your own towel and your own lock for the wall lockers. A day pass is $10, which isn't bad at all for what you get. Parking was pretty easy, and they also have a protein bar along with premade healthy meals available for purchase, which is convenient. Overall, it's a decent facility with good amenities and value, but the constant crowd and open layout make it feel more chaotic than relaxing.

The staff really needs to do a better job addressing and mitigating this behavior at this location. I fully support equal rights and believe people should be free to love whoever they choose. That said, public indecency in a gym environment is inappropriate and unacceptable. I may contact management directly in hopes that stronger oversight and enforcement can be implemented.

Nice gym! I've…read morebeen a member for over a year, I think. I took a break from the gym over the summer but am slowly starting to go back more regularly. I usually go during the day. Everytime I go, the facility and equipment is clean. The women's bathroom is usually clean also. Same for locker area. The gym is well-ventilated. It is not overly crowded during the time I go there. With the app, you can see the busy and less busy times to go there. You also have access to workouts and more. A filtered water station is provided, which I highly prefer to water fountains. Other members are usually courteous. I like how most if not all gym members take the time to clean the equipment after them. There is a stretching or mat-workout area that can be a little crowded at time. I usually stick with the treadmill, stairs, or elliptical, so can't comment on the other machines/weights/etc. I also like to work out in the mat area. I appreciate the newer mats as the older ones really needed to be replaced! I've never had to wait to use any equipment, but it may be because I try not to go during the busiest times. The staff are usually friendly and always greet you when you arrive to check-in. They used to always say something like "Have a nice day" to every guest leaving the gym, but I've noticed that they've stopped doing that lately. It's too bad because it was a nice touch that made the gym experience more positive. I sometimes accompany a friend to her gym (different company) as her guest, and the people behind the counter never even look at the members as they check-in or leave. I cancel online and my daughter canceled hers too . then I see in my bank account a transaction that they took membership fees so I call and they tell me my account is active all the guy says is did you get an email confirmation if not then it's not canceled so I told him but I canceled online like one of your workers told me too . they do not return calls they will not work with you to catch up on payments and it's funny cause i looked how I fell behind for 2 years and it was because my credit card expired but when I looked on my account they had my bank info for automatic payments which after 2 years they started taking payments.. now I know why multiple people told me they had to quit this gym and stop payments because they do not help thier members.
