I've been coming here for a few weeks for physical therapy for a back related issue. Staff is great. Facility is clean. Erin, the therapist, has her doctorate in Physical Therapy, and treats every patient on their needs. Progresses through various exercises in stages and gives you guidance on doing safe exercises at home. She's also quite personable too. What's not to like? I wish I'd done this sooner. I did not do my homework, and that is my fault. First,when you turn on 59th Street, good luck seeing the sign to point you in the right direction, it is located BEHIND the sign for 4 Lakes info. I drove around for 20 minutes and finally called. I was told there are designated parking spaces. I suppose there are, they are on the north side of the building, but you have to drive completely around the building to get there. There is parking on the south side of the building and, fortunately for me, the elevator is closer to that parking because the facility is located on the 2nd floor. SURPRISE. The building is a maze, signs with arrows would help a whoooooooooooooole lot. Maybe it is identified better from the north side. Also, be aware there is a Riverbend Drive, Riverbend Place, and Riverbend Lane, that has to make mail delivery a nightmare. Kudos to Craig who really tried to right a wrong and make the situation better. read more

Craig and Erin are awesome...have been there twice, once for a sore shoulder and to get back to baseball, and for an unrelated surgery. Both times got me back to being able to play sports. They do a great job explaining what they're doing, why they do it, and how to keep up maintenance at home. Facility is clean and easy to find, appointments were never a problem to make. I highly recommend this facility. I had knee surgery and have been seeing Andrew (facility manager and PT), also saw the regional manager, Joe for a couple of sessions. The facility is exceptionally clean and following strict COVID-19 precautions. I am impressed with the therapists' knowledge, clinical skills, professionalism, and motivation to help me along in my rehabilitation process. This is a great location if you need to heal, need a confidence booster, or need a PT location that is within close proximity of a pizza parlor. Andrew is a great PT who takes his time to listen to your specific needs and can provide a variety of unique techniques and exercises without pushing you to the point where you never want to return. The "no pain no gain" mentality doesn't always work for healing and pain. Try this location out, keep an open mind, and remember patience is a virtue. Why choosing your Physical Therapist wisely means everything! Not all physical therapists are the same! In my 40 years of life I have never needed more than an annual doctor visit and the occasional cast on my arm. After a pretty severe accident, I spent months dealing with doctors, surgeons, pain management clinics, and the headache involved in all of this. All in I spent almost 4 months trying to get some sort of pain relief while staring neck/back surgery directly in the eyes. Finally I told my surgeon I am done with the pills, I am done with the shots in the back, I am done with it all just schedule a surgery date. He let me know that my insurance was more than likely not going to approve surgery unless I did some sort of physical therapy first. I remember his words like he said them yesterday. "I need you to do two weeks of surgery and then I can get this approved". Being 40 and facing a fusion surgery was/is terrifying. Also living with pain on a good day in the 6-7 range (on a scale of 10) wasn't appealing either. I reluctantly looked up the closest physical therapy place to my work and made the appointment. I can honestly say I was blessed with making this choice. I had no idea the educational and treatment you can receive with someone who has the background to do it. I am sure like most folks you can tell there are PT places almost as common as a Starbucks now. I met with Andrew, talked about my symptoms, my goals, etc and he began to tell me about his background. I knew you had to have a degree but your advanced therapists go through a fellowship program and I can attest THIS MAKES A DIFFERENCE. Andrew is able to stretch, maniupulate, and has a depth of knowledge about my body almost as good as an MD. So for my story after almost half a year I am surgery free. Off most of my meds and managing the slight amount of pain that still remains with Andrews help. After a total left knee replacement, I was in search of a facility for therapy. I was very fortunate to find the Athletico Facility in Lisle The staff is wonderful. Susan the office manager took care of all the insurance approvals. Heather my therapist was phenomenal and very diligent. The other members of the facility Craig, Erin and Melissa made my therapy very painless. I am very grateful to all of them for their care and attention they gave me. Where do I begin in the shiny review of my experience at Athletico Lisle?!! I have been to physical therapy at a competitor in the area, and I didn't know how much better things could be for me until coming here! First, you can call the actual location's office - it's not a centralized scheduling call center that answers the phone - and Catherine at the desk is absolutely wonderful. I spent over 3 months in intensive therapy after surgery, and I split my time mostly between therapists Erin and Craig, and both of them are absolutely phenomenal. They have different styles, but they work together seamlessly. They are both extremely knowledgeable, professional, and also warm and friendly. I also saw another Therapist, NaNa, a couple of times due to scheduling needs (read: you can always get an appointment when you need one), and he was great too. I have also seen Rachel, the Massage Therapist, and had a really good experience with her and intend to keep seeing her. We all had quite a rapport going, and I will miss my Athletico team now that I have "graduated" out of therapy. Both Erin and Craig made certain to listen to my cares and concerns and answered my endless questions. They are busy and have many patients, but when they are with you, they are with you. They are always watching, in a good way. The exercises were always shown and discussed with me before I did them, and the massage, while intense because of my lasting nerve damage post-op, was exactly what I needed in order to get better and to keep going. I am on the younger side for back surgery, and it was/is very important to me that I am able to get back to life as I knew it as much as possible, and as safe but quickly as possible. Erin and Craig made certain that this happened for me. Also, the facility feels newer and is clean, especially considering that sweaty people come through there all day. Cleanliness is very important to me. Upon graduation, I was provided with clear instructions for a reasonable at-home routine, and invited/encouraged to come back whenever I needed to do so for any injury or pain I may have in the future. I trust the therapists at this facility, and my experience was great from my first call to schedule my consultation through graduation. In fact, I had such a good experience, I brought my husband in to see Craig for an assessment on his shoulder that has been bothering him for quite some time. Craig gave my hubby a full assessment, and then provided him a clear and helpful plan to take care of his shoulder. I know that not everyone has a happy ending with their surgery or injury, and I know that I am fortunate to be doing well. I fully believe that I am doing so well post-op in large part due to my experience at Athletico Lisle. I was referred there for rehab after knee surgery by a trainer at Lifetime. I was not disappointed at all. Great services provided by professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Rehab after knee surgery is no fun and the pain is sometimes awful, but this Athletico made it bearable. I am done with therapy but I had a great experience. And my rehab is going quite nicely and I would have to attribute a large part to Athletico. read more

I spent the last 4 months of therapy at this location after undergoing a rotator cuff surgery. The staff at this location are friendly and accommodating. I had no problems in making my appointments. The environment is good, clean, bright and well equipped. My physical therapist, Craig Walter is professional, knowledgeable and committed to see me improve from the surgery. I spent about 8 months here after an ACL reconstruction, and I can't say enough about the facility. From the treatment to the environment everything was top notch. I had previously worked with Craig and Erin, but Craig has since left for another clinic. His replacement Andrew has been just as amazing as Craig was. Rachel Lachowski is the full package, she is not only a massage therapist but a yoga instructor too! She listens intently, asks probing questions, collaborates with you to develop a plan and modifies the plan if symptoms appear.
