What a wonderful place to enjoy the scenery and culinary experience. The view of the river and bridge are easily seen with the 360 degree view. Prior to entering the business, at the parking lot, one gets valet in a golf cart to the entrance of the business that is located on top of a hill. The ride adds to the experience. Warm welcome and seated on the side of the river, which had a great breeze. Julia our server was attentive to our needs and was very hospitable. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal, mofongo relleno de carne frita, pistachio cheesecake and mocktail. Noticed there is a private air conditioned room that has a good wine selection, next to the bar. Will definitely come back.

Talk about a unique place! My dad and I came here and were taken to the restaurant via a golf cart! It was so fun, the staff is very lively and friendly. Since I was in PR, I needed to try mofongo. This place did not disappoint. It was soooo tasty! When I come back to PR I'm definitely coming here again, even if I'm staying outside of Naranjito. The whole town is a gem.

The appetizer platter great to taste some of the local flavors. Loved the sorullitos. The sangria on point.

I waited over 80 minutes for a steak and burger while sitting at the bar, despite ordering immediately after getting my drink.

This is a far out drive, up in the mountains of Puerto Rico but it is worth it. This restaurant is…read moreknown for their pastel al caldero -- a remix of the classic Puerto Rican dish pastel en hoja. And although I've never been a fan of pastel en hoja this one was delicious. The picadera consisted of tostones, bolitas de yuca, fried chicken, longaniza (blood sausage), and shredded pernil (pork). We also tried some pastelillos. Honestly everything was so good we left stuffed! The service was amazing even after the crowds started arriving and it got busier. Our server Gaby was great! Because it's up in the mountains, parking is limited and once it starts getting crowded it can be hard to find parking and seating in the restaurant. I recommend getting there no later than 1pm or 2pm right when they open. Trust by 3:30 it's already super packed. The mountain views and crisp air was so amazing and a refreshing change of scenery from the beaches and city life of San Juan. If you have some free time, I'd def recommend adding to your itinerary.

One of the best things we had here were the pastels. Anthony Bourdai was right. Try the beef one with cheese especially. The pastry dough tasted great as well as the fillings. We also tried the pasteles soup in a hot tin cup--which was pretty popular. It tasted interesting. Tostones were good. The pernil was a bit dry for my taste. Drinks here are good and cheap. Waiters were attentive. Expect to have snacks, a few drinks, and enjoy the view if you visit this place. This is not a place to have meals. It's one of the kind experience. I'm happy I visited.
