Please beware. This company is extremely unprofessional and subcontracts out to inexperienced movers. I was scheduled to move 1-3pm on a Saturday. Around 11am I received a call from the main office saying there was a problem with the truck and the movers will be there around 3/3:30. At 3:30 no one showed up so I tried calling the office and there was no answer and the mailbox was full. I called multiple times and then just assumed that no one would show up. When they did show up at 5:30 the person who was trying to move my stuff did not even know what company contracted him. It was one man and his underage son with a rental van who did not properly know how to wrap furniture. I had already found another group of last minute professional movers so I canceled their service right away. Please use another moving company. read more

I called Ben's Moving Company but he is out of town and this company is taking care of his business. I was not impressed by any means with the customer service I experienced. The price kept going up. Nick was not transparent as he claims to be with the price and then I confronted him about it. I was in a bigtime crunch and reached out Sunday afternoon for a late night Monday move (from NoMa to a MD storage unit) quote since I was only able to get an 8pm loading dock elevator time. Understanding it was a last minute request, I was more than pleased to hear they were able to accommodate my request at a fair price. They came on time and had my 6-7 large furniture items wrapped and loaded quick and precise. Even with the mess my roommate had that was taking up space and crowding the paths in the unit, the movers easily maneuvered and we're able to load/unload into my storage unit within less than 3 hours. The supervisor confirmed the deets earlier in the day, and also was there to help make sure everything looked good on the contract before his guys started. They were fast to respond to my quote request and we got it scheduled a couple of weeks in advance. The way my work schedule is set up, I couldn't move any earlier than 5pm, these guys (2 of them) came at 7pm for me and moved my 5 x 10 storage unit out of Extra Space Storage in 30 minutes. They drove to my apartment around the corner, and deliver the same boxes and other items to a third floor apartment in 30 minutes. They didn't drop anything, scratch anything, nor damage anything. I was impressed and will be using these guys again. I was shocked and amazed at how fast and efficient they were, for it only to be two of them. We moved about a week ago from a two bedroom apt to another 2 bedroom apt a few miles away. We had two movers carefully wrap and move all of our furniture. They also helped with closing up boxes. They handled all boxes, especially the fragile ones with extreme care. It took about 5 hours of them to complete the move. They did a wonderful job, did not waste any time, and worked diligently to complete the move as quickly as possible. This was a great experience. We had 2 movers come right on time and were friendly, helpful, and courteous. They took apart all of the furniture that needed to be taken apart (beds, tables) and wrapped the art and furniture with great care. They worked fast and carefully, ensuring that all my items were taken care of and put in the truck carefully. But, the best part of these guys are their price. I made a very last-minute request to move some furniture out of my townhouse and into a storage locker. Samat was super-prompt in providing me with a quote, and his fee was extremely reasonable. He and another mover (whose name I forgot to catch--sorry about that!), arrived at the townhouse early (while I was out), but did not charge me for any time they spent waiting for me. All of the furniture was carefully wrapped and packed, and loading and unloading their truck took no time at all. And credit where credit is due, some of my furniture was *not* easy to move at all. Very good movers. Gave me their ETA which was nice. These guys are very strong. They moved some of my heaviest items such as, temperpudic bed, all steel frame reclining couch, aquarium, all no problem. They were also very careful in not scratching or denting anything. What a great experience! These guys are masters at what they do. They were ahead of time, efficient, careful with your belonging and courteous. These movers are in a class of their own. 5 stars for sure. Sam and his friend were the movers. They were really fast, i meant reallllllly fast. They didn't waste a single second! This crew has all professional tools. they use blanket to protect big piece furniture. Also not mention their rate is really good. Don't hesitate to quote this crew. I highly recommend it. I got like around 20 moving boxes, furnitures for one bedroom and moving distance is 20 miles. The time is 2.5h. Incredible! These guys are great and for an excellent price. The whole move took about two 1/2 hours for a one bedroom apt and it only took them about 45 minutes to unload. They took great care of our furniture- not a single ding or scratch- and also were careful not to scratch walls or door frames. Just three comments- they were about an hour late which was a little inconvenient but didn't change our day too much. I also assumed they would take care of parking- we didn't end up having any issues just using alleys, etc, but it would have been helpful to know that the client needs to set that up ahead of time. Also, they prefer cash (and you get a 5% discount if you pay that way) so helpful to have that on-hand or have an ATM close by. Overall a great experience! read more

Arrived and started right on time. Moved everything super quickly and efficiently. None of my items were damaged in the process. They charged the best rate I could find in this area, $60/hr + 1 hr. transportation fee. This included two movers, a moving truck, and blankets, dollies, etc. to protect, move, and secure the furniture. I also paid in cash to get the 5% discount. I was extremely happy with this service. They completed my move in under 2 hours, which was my target. But if I had gone over time, they prorate the charge by the half hour which seems very fair. They were able to load up two rooms full of furniture at my one apartment and deliver it to the fourth floor of my new apartment in under two hours! Two guys came over to help with my 1 bedroom move and they were extremely pleasant! They were quick, yet gentle. They made sure i knew exactly what i was being charged for before they started, and went over it again when they were done. I move frequently and this was one of my easiest moves. They knew what they were doing, so I got to awkwardly sit on the couch and do nothing while the guys took care of everything. Will definitely call them again for my next move :) read more

These guys are great. We agreed on a 5pm start time and they arrived around 5:06pm (I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because of rush hour and traffic). Basically they showed up and after signing a form confirming the time they arrived, both of them scanned how much stuff you had to move and went right to work. The whole loading phase from the old apartment took just under 1.5 hours which loaded about 20 boxes, a bed, sofa, tables, dressers, mirrors, and other smalls things. By the time we got to the new place, it took another 1.5 to unload. So all in all, it was definitely worth the money and they took great care of our things. Used their service about a month ago for a two bedroom apartment move with a lot of heavy furniture and a Bowflex exercise machine --- which they didn't charge me extra for. The price quoted was reasonable and I moved forward with hiring them. I'm glad I did. Prices quoted were true with no additional hidden cost. They were very professional and polite. I stayed out their way and sat on the side while they worked. They didn't waste time and moved me within 4 hours. They broke down my beds (didn't have tools to do it myself) and even wrapped all my furniture in plastic wrap and flat screens in cloth quick and efficiently. I'm sure if you do all that yourself, your time will probably be less then mine but I was still impressed and ok with how efficient they were. Nothing was damaged and everything was reassembled exactly where I requested it to be once I reached my new home. I changed my moved date once and my time twice since my initial booking. They were very accommodating and very customer service focused. There's a discount if you give them cash instead of using your credit card. I just didn't know how much it all would be at the end so I didn't take out cash. I'm sure I could have ran to the ATM and they would have waited without an additional charge but I just decided not to pay cash. The reason for leaving off a star is that they charged me for more time than what was actually worked (charged for extra half hour when it was only over about 10-15 minutes). Very friendly & fast! Two movers moved me from my 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom they were very fast but I will say that the way my new apartment is set up slowed them down. So it took them 5 hrs to complete. They wrapped everything very tight & neat & we're very gentle with my stuff. So in the end it was well worth it. I will use them again in the future. But just be mindful of how your building is set up if moving into an apartment b/c this will add to the time. read more
