First time at Pollo Campero -- and I get the hype!…read more The drive-thru was packed and the parking lot was full, so I parked across the street and walked in. The line moved quickly, and I ordered an 8-piece family meal with 2 sides, 2 dinner rolls, 2 tortilla's and a drink for $31.89 + 1 Regular drink $3.10 + tax $3.11 totaled $38.10 -- honestly, excellent value for under $40. Only downside: they only had legs and thighs available. Luckily, those are my favorite pieces, so no complaints here (KFC would never... LOL). I tried both the fried and baked chicken -- both were seasoned really well and very tasty. The yuca fries were a fun change from regular fries, and I enjoyed them. For my drink, I tried the "Jamaica" flavor which I think is similar to sorrel. It wasn't very sweet -- more on the tart side -- but refreshing. I tried the Horchata and Mango drinks, but Jamaica was my favorite. Overall, a good first experience. Delicious food, good value, and I'll definitely be back to try more.

So I opted to go inside - it was much better - 2 cashiers who kept the line moving - the mango drink ran out When I mentioned it they said they would have more made but it may be a while so I missed out on that - coupons had been sent to me prior to opening so I ended up pay $16 for a 4 piece meal with 3 sides and a tortilla the roasted chicken is really good - I wasn't a fan of the fried chicken - I'll be back to give it another try when the crowds lessen -

As "chain" burger places go, I feel Five Guys is pretty much near the top of my list, especially…read morethis location. Five Guys, and places such as SmashBurger etc, are going for the "cut above" the fast food burger joints like McDonald's, BK, Sonic, etc, but occupy a "middle ground" between those and the "boutique" burger places. This location is clean and the staff is friendly and respectful. (I'm at that point in my life where being called "Sir" is welcomed). I find the burgers are well cooked and nicely dressed up when done "all the way". The fries are excellent, most often, and I like the "devil may care" approach to serving size...always over filled. It's definitely a no frills kinds of place with the "high boy" tables and chairs and two-tone color scheme. One suggestion though, try the fries with ketchup with the malt vinegar mixed in...it's EXCELLENT! Again, I really like 5 Guys. It's the better if that "mid tier" burger places for me. And, this location has such nice folks working there, it's a pleasure to stop in!

I had to wait cause they make the fries when you arrive and I asked for no salt. I was the last customer of the day but still you want good quality food. The fries are usually great so I am not sure what happened.

The fries/onion rings are good as well. Make sure you grab a milkshake too! Service is always good, they are helpful and move quickly. Tonight we had our order in under 30 seconds and it's a Friday night! If you need ketchup or mustard, don't forget to ask, they keep it behind the counter. Lastly, they have restrooms and outdoor seating (no indoor seating).

There was nothing that really stood out to me. It tasted like a regular burger. Nothing special! I also tried the hot dog, which was just OK... meh. They had run out of mustard, which was disappointing. The onion rings were another letdown. I was expecting fresh, thick cut onion rings, but these were the overly processed, heavily breaded kind. The fries were also pretty mid and lacked crispiness. To make things worse, they forgot our fish fillet sandwich, and we didn't realize until we got home. The only thing I can say positively is the price. It's definitely cheap and budget friendly, but you get what you pay for. I found this joint to be pretty mediocre. Personally, I think White Castle is better!
