If I could give negative stars for food quality I would. Why do all these wing places over fry the wing to the point of making jerky wings, with coated flavorings? The first problem is that all the wings have no flavor or salt in the meat. They need to be marinated overnight or at least a few hours prior to cooking. Regardless, the main problem is that they fry the wings to the point that all moisture is fried out. The soles of my old gym shoes have more moisture than their wings. I think that they hope the sauces they use to coat the wings will bring back in the moisture. Unfortunately, even if I coat the soles of my gym shoes with BBQ sauce, you will probably figure out what you are eating, and not amount of sauce or flavoring can hide the fact of what your are eating and the lack of moisture. In terms of the sauces, I find it really difficult to comment much in a meaningful way other than to say they are OK. I have also tried Wing Stop, the situation is even worse. In their case, they deep fry the wings so long that the wing and remaining bone appear to the exactly the same size and shape before and after eating, but that is another review. On the bright side there are some Korean wing places that do not overcook the chicken, again another review. To summarize, do not bother with ATL Wings if you desire flavorful, juicy wings. If you desire your wings to be like jerky, then it may be your cup of tea. read more

I've been here before a few years ago and there were no issues, great food. My boyfriend and I came here last week and he ordered boneless mild wings and I ordered bone in half mild half lemon pepper. I used to work at Wingstop, so I know my wings!! While we were ordering, I noticed a large bucket of already precooked chicken under the sauce table so full the lid was barely covering it. This is a big no no, the food is way too close to the floor and is not heated so it's not maintaining safe temp. I'm guessing they did this to save with cook time by just redropping the wings whenever ordered, but that dries out chicken and is also super dangerous for consumers! Before when we first came here years ago, there was a sign that went along the lines of "perfection takes time, allow 15 mins for your food" which is the normal cook time once you drop fresh raw chicken for it to fry and cook fully. Even with noticing this, I ate the food, and the wings were okay and the mild sauce was actually good, but my boyfriends boneless wings were literally the size of popcorn chicken and we paid about $8 for 6 pieces!! Ranches are small and the tables were dirty. I love the koolaid on tap, but this place has seriously gone downhill! read more

I've always enjoyed ATL wings and think they do have some pretty tasty wings, however, I was bragging about them to a friend so we went to lunch and it was sadly very disappointing. The size of the wings were like popcorn chicken with a bone in the middle. Very tiny! For the price we paid I could get something just as fabulous as BWW. My wife and I ate there for lunch today. When we walked through the door we were immediately greeted. I had the honey habanero wings and my wife had the hot wings. They were cooked perfectly! The skin was crispy and sauced perfectly. We also got a side of mac n cheese bites, onion rings and fries. All of the sides were delicious especially he mac n cheese bites which I highly recommend. My 3 favorite flavors are seasoned, ranch, and traditional hot, and we are ready for take off. Why not 5 stars? Well, the bleu cheese is cheap store bought. I wish they made their own or at least sprung for the good stuff. The sides are a little boring. Why not some homemade onion rings, jalapeno poppers, or fries (instead of boring frozen fries), and they do not deliver (my beach body thanks you guys for that one). Like Allison T I purchased a couple of certificates through restaurants.com after making sure the automatic 18% gratuity restriction was removed. My husband and I called an order in and when we went to pay and use the certificate again we were told that we had to pay them the 18%. We pointed out that this restriction was no longer on these certificates but were basically told that this was their policy and nothing could be done about it. I emailed Restaurants.com and was told that they would look into it etc... but nothing ever came of that. Decided another night to try again since we like the food; again got the same attitude from the so called manager and she was not pleasant about it. This is basically a fast food joint where you place your order and pay at the counter and either take it home to eat or at a table but no one is waiting on you so why pay a gratuity?? I am equally dissatisfied with Restaurants.com because I have not heard another word from them after I emailed them directly or after I gave a very poor review of ATL. I am a wing buff too, Like I can eat all kinds of wings, from any place, even the worse wings are a good meal to me compared to a burger. Okay so I like wings. A Lot. I am SOOO glad we tried this place. I read the reviews here before I went, was a little unsure due to some of the bad ones, but the good ones sent me over to the store. Since my first visit I have been there 4 times in one month. I don't plan on stopping soon. I have tried almost all the flavors now. My favorites...ATL style for dry rub wings, and a toss up for buffalo medium, LOVE me some buffalo wings, and the honey habanero are superb. BUT trust me you will not be disappointed with whatever flavor you get, BBQ teriyaki, sweet, garlic all yum! Just go there. Customer service is also really great. ATL wings are delish! Whenever we can, we get wings from them. They do wings and some sides, not a huge menu but it doesn't need to be. The staff there works hard especially the manager Cece. I never once saw her sit down or bark orders. She was there to fill in and help staff which is what a manager should do especially on a fight night. read more

A friend referred me to this place, and I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty their wings were. I'm very picky when it comes to chicken wings, and I'm proud to say that these were the best I've ever had. I had their lemon pepper and honey barbecue, they were excellent.
