First off, *six minutes* was the time I was told by one of your workers when I asked for an estimate, so you can save the whole "system" excuse. When I walked in, there were already *three customers* sitting in the lobby, eating--so it's not like you're running some kitchen operation so complex that a 20-minute wait should be the standard for every order. Second, while I get that food is made to order, it should NEVER take more than 20 minutes for something that was already supposed to be ready in *6 minutes*. So, don't try to pull the "our menu items take 20 minutes" card when your timing was way off. It's not the system, it's the procrastination on your end. And you know what? It's not like I was being rude about it--I use to work in the food industry, I get it. I tried to explain that, but your response? "I didn't ask about your life story." Charming. Then you hit me with "You're wasting your time"--real professional. Maybe I wouldn't have felt like I was wasting my time if I didn't have to sit around for 20 minutes because of YOUR procrastination, not to mention the completely unnecessary attitude from your end. Hope that clears things up. 02/21/25 I was picking up a DoorDash order and had waited 20 minutes for the order to be ready. The manager argued with me and told me that I was wasting my time on waiting for the order when I could've canceled it. Then she tries to tell me that the order requires an extra 15 to 20 minutes after the pickup time which was 11:01am. She tried to tell me that the DoorDash app was wrong and argued with me instead of just bagging up the order and giving it to me. It was sitting right behind her the entire time. Then she goes back on her phone in the kitchen after raising her voice at me. The manager left the poor girl in the front to take a group of 10. And didn't even bag the order! Basic simple fries with boneless wings on top. Food was good and fresh. Service was ok, there was maybe total 4 staff working. The ambiance was ok chill music, volume a little to high as I did felt I had to speak up when ordering. Over all experience was good. Would I come again? Very disappointing. Drove 25 minutes to try. I got 15 wings. Half lemon pepper and half the other dry rub you offer. It felt like the rub were just sprinkled on my wings after you placed them in the to-go container. Most of the wings were naked. Some had rub on one side of the wing. Then I watched them make the food real quick. Then they handed it to me and said "you ordered bbq fries so that's what I had to make." I can see on my phone it specifically says buffalo fries. While driving by MCC, we had seen an ad advertising that the best buffalo fries was here at The Buffalo Spot. So of course we were curious an had to stop by. Buffalo fries, chicken wings, and the Buffalo Cali Burrito were ordered. The Buffalo Fries were good but I'd pass on the wings if we order here again. The Buffalo Cali Burrito is pretty much an order of Buffalo fries inside a tortilla. It's a really good concept for those on the go. Q: What day do chickens hate the most? A: Fry-day! So is this place the best wing spot? No. Can you gets some cluck-and-spuds? Yes! And you know what, sometimes that's all it takes to make your day. I tried 15 traditional bone-in wings (half Pineapple Jalapeño and half Jamaican Jerk), an order of Buffalo Fries, and a Buffalo Cali Burrito. The Pineapple Jalapeño was very very very mild in flavor. The heat factor being almost non-existent. Have you ever been electrocuted by a phone charger? It has less tingle than that. The Jamaican Jerk wings was an explosion of flavor though. As for the Buffalo Cali Burrito, it's pretty much just Buffalo Fries nestled neatly inside a tortilla. The fries and the burrito were pretty good and I enjoyed them both. The Buffalo Spot opened back in 2013 in Long Beach, CA and has since opened up more locations in California, Nevada, Texas, and here in sunny-and-lovely Arizona. Come for the Buffalo Fries! I only give one star because I can't give zero. Came into restaurant with one person before me. SeverL people ordered after me. I counted six orders that came out and given to those who ordered after me. When I question the woman behind the counter she stated that the traditional wings took 15 to 20 minutes to cook. Me and my roommate came for lunch today ordered atomic and Honey BBQ we got home and we're given the Atomic and Mild not a big deal I called and told them what was wrong, whoever I was on the phone with sounded she didn't care at all. I was told that they would be remade and so I went to pick them up got there was told they still had 5-10 min and was handed mild again tried to bring this up to the girl at the register and she continued to ignore me and be on her phone I ended up leaving so disappointed I have been to other locations and have had no issues and the food is great. I have been in the food industry for the last 6+ years with management experience and never have i had something like this happen. Will not be coming back to this location. Generally when I go to this buffalo spot location it is FANTASTIC, but, recently it could go either way. I came in today and the employees weren't really paying attention and when I got my buffalo fries they were absolutely drenched in sauce. Every fry was inedible and soggy before I could even take one bite and the chicken was too drenched as well. When I say drenched I mean volume wise there was probably more sauce than fries. I have to say, the food is good...when they get it right. I go back because of the quality and quantity of the food. It is an expensive meal but it's easily something that can tide you over for two meals. If you can let go of the fact that your order may be wrong when you get home, it's a fine gamble (our 10$ shrimp fries were sadly chicken this go around). I came in for my 1st time today. Super excited that there's a new wing spot in Mesa. If you download their app you get a free Buffalo fry or flavor of your choice. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the 10 piece traditional wings hath Cajun 1/2 jalapeno pineapple. I also got the Jamaican jerk French fries. The Cajun wings or phenomenal great flavor in the wings are very generous size. I wasn't a fan of the jalapeno pineapple didn't really have a lot of flavor in my opinion I had to ask for a side of the sauce. My absolute favorite thing was the Jamaican jerk the flavor was phenomenal and with their special sauce on the fries it just really put it over the top. Food is good! I like the fries and the chicken is moist. Not one of those chicken tenders/ nuggets that are all breading. The Buffalo sauce is great and so flavorful. Even the mild is pretty spicy. The chocolate milkshake was amazing. Food is great leftover. This particular location in Mesa was really clean. Clean bathrooms and dining area. Cindy was our "server" and she made the experience. When they advertise best buffalo fries thats just a flat out lie. First time I went, fries were soggy and the chicken was extremely oily to the point I got sick. Figured it was a fluke or a bad day so decided to try it a second time two weeks later and when I had it the second time same thing happened, fries were soggy(even when i asked sauce on the side). Got Garlic Parm chicken and that somehow was sour??? And extremely salty. Wingstop is 10x better than this place so if you want chicken wings just go to the Wingstop down the road. So the sauce that was on the frozen chicken that we were served was mediocre at best then come to find out we couldn't even get ranch or bleu cheese with are buffalo wings, we had to purchase that separately, not a fan. And only 80%of the chicken was edible due to poor quality of the meat or that it was frozen. First and last visit and I'm not even bougie about food like that but this place isn't great. Food is USUALLY good, there's been some questionable times where the chicken is bad or fries are soggy. But both locations are always SLOW. Got here on time, waited an extra 30 minutes for my food after ordering online. I understand it's busy, BUT I ordered ahead and still had to wait an extra 30 minutes on top of the pickup time.
