However, I've been VERY tired and grooming two mini goldendoodles is just a lot on me nowadays. Today I brought my girl up here for a an express wash and blow dry so I could just do her cut at home. I made certain to comb her out fully and remove any matting. I even confirmed with the front desk person that her coat was free of knots, tangles, etc. This is the second time they have done a very mediocre job at properly drying the coat. Not only was it not blown out all the way, she had THREE matted knots (leg, neck, rear) that were NOT there when I dropped her off. I expected to be able to jump right into using my clippers, it kept jamming up and I had to use my own forced-air dryer and slicker brush to get it smooth enough for the blades. I 100% understand that curly/wavy coated dogs like this require a bit more, but I didn't expect to have to go over 50% of the work I paid to have completed. Edit: What's crazy is I left this review in their private portal for someone to contact me in August. No response until this Yelp review. I'm not sure if I'm being called a liar or not, because the response is all over the place LOL

While I am comfortable for the moment with the individual trainers, I fully expect the quality of care to rapidly decline with PE involved. They already plan to remove a lot of the website transparency, such as the names and profiles of trainers "because they don't want to have to update their website often," which of course indicates major turnover and instability. To keep my furby fresh and clean between visits I've decided to go to the self-service dog wash now owned and managed by Fur Side. Automated scheduling was easy as pie. Showed up for my appointment and Mary greeted me at the door in PPE. Raised tubs with sprayer mean you don't have to bend over to bath your pooch. There are plastic aprons to keep you dry as possible. The shampoo and conditioner is great and complimentary, along with ear wash. Although I bought my own brushes, there are brushes available for use. Bring your own towels now. It's a safety thing. All in all a great bath away from home. I'll end with this. My Beauregard was freaking out with the sound and feel of the high powered dryer. He dang near killed himself trying to get away from it and I was going to have to leave with a wet poodle. Mary showed absolute mercy and stepped in to help me. I'm not experienced in bathing Beauregard myself so I was not what he wanted or expected. Mary advised and showed me the best way to dry my pooch and make the experience enjoyable for both of us. She gave of her time and herself and we are eternally thankful. P.S. I already had a full service groom scheduled for a future date. This will be Beauregard's first visit to Fur Side.. I'm even happier about this now.

Everyone I have met has impressed me with the knowledge, professionalism, and love of the dogs placed in their charge. Rza looks forward to the time spent with them and comes home wiped out, which says something since he is a 3-year-old wire fox terrier. He literally does not want to leave them when they drop him off. I could not be more pleased with their service and highly recommend Laraine and her team.

Knowing that weekly Mac is able to get out for a real hike is truly invaluable for us. He can be very shy around new people, and everyone at Two Chicks and a Pack have been so patient and taken the time for him to be comfortable. Aside from just the exercise, Mac has gotten so much out of structured socialization with other dogs and people. They've made it easy for him to be picked up/dropped off when we're not home. We can't say enough good things about them, they really love what they do and care for all the dogs as if they were their own.
