He recommended we use Owen Corning Duration shingles and go with Williamsburg Grey. Once that was done, the shingles and the material were delivered the day before neatly stacked. The following day his crew and him were at our place at 7:30AM. His crew took meticulous care of our yard before starting. They stared around 8:30AM and were done before 7:00PM. NOT A SINGLE NAIL LEFT BEHIND! And, many code upgrades and changes to ensure rain water is moved away from the corners of the house. Thank you Ben and crew. The following week, his gutter folks showed up and installed our new gutters and downspouts -- upgrade to a 6" gutters. Again, not a single nail was left behind and our house looked great. As a professional real estate agent and an owner of a stucco home, I can tell you it is not worth…read morethe $$$ to a seller or a buyer to get this bond. Stucco, first of all, is made of concrete. Concrete naturally cracks. This company says they will warranty any moisture from getting in the home for a year. However you have to pay for an inspection with them first at $500. Then you have to repair every little tiny hairline crack or they won't warranty it. You could potentially hire another company to do the repair and pay a lot less, but this company will still need to come back to check the work, likely will make you do more repairs anyways, since they are the ones doing the warranty. Then keep in mind, this is only a 1 year warranty and for them to do the repairs, they say on the estimate, they may still have to do more work (like items they didn't know about after the begin the work). So technically a seller could spend $10k just to do this, while the buyer only gets a 1 year warranty that they then have to renew every year anyways and repair future cracks anyways. And you know what? The inspection on this home showed that there was no concern on moisture to begin with! Don't do this warranty! Instead, hire a stucco expert to assess home and repair as necessary. This bod is not worth the even the time I am taking to write this review!

We used Escex because of a friend who worked there at the time. We needed to replace our roof due…read moreto weather damage, so we thought we'd go all in and replace the siding as well because Escex assured us they did both. In all we spent more than $38,000. From the beginning of the project things went sideways. Our siding salesman promised hardiplank, installed a lesser product that wasn't even the same style. The salesman was fired, but we didn't get what we thought we were paying for. As for the roof, after it was installed, we had a leak that caused some water damage in bedroom, but it was fixed. Fast forward 4 years (we had roof/siding installed in May, 2021), we woke up a few weeks ago after a rainstorm to find water damage in the master bathroom, master bedroom and on the main floor in the kitchen. I called and asked Escex to come look for the leak. Mark Chapin, the roofing manager came out and told us that there was a 'dead spot' on the roof and that he would repair it but it wasn't covered under warranty. He would do the work himself for slightly under $600. I was skeptical, so therefore got another estimate from a well known roofer, who pointed out where they believed the leak came from and why. Below are current day pictures-4 years later. I asked about the quality of work, and the relationship to the leaks., sent emails and left voicemails for Escex Owner ADAM HUMPHREYS-he didn't return any of them. Mark told me he was limited in what he could do because the warranty expired?
