My husband and I had a great experience today at Atlanta Toyota. We came in to trade in our 2016 Ford Expedition that we got back in 2021 at another dealership. We still owed a lot on the truck but it was unsafe, unreliable, and a money pit to have that truck. We spoke with the financial manager first a week prior to see if this was even viable, and he said it would be hard but there's a light at the end of the tunnel. We came in today to do the trade. We decided on a 2025 Rav4 XLE. Luis was our salesman and he did a great job at explaining what to expect with the car and also financial stuff. He was very funny and delightful to work with. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of regardless of the situation we were in. When it came to finances, Raul is your guy! He was able to work out a fantastic deal for us and we really appreciated that. He understood we were in a bad situation and had our hands tied because of the truck, and he was very generous. In the meantime, my 2016 RAV4 was being evaluated for a trade-in value. The ride was smooth and comfortable, with plenty of space inside for passengers and cargo. I love the blueprint color! While I drove the car, XT highlighted new features of the car that stand out from the previous RAV4. Communication was clear and easy from start to finish. Let me start by saying this: I only go to Atlanta Toyota when I absolutely have to. Think "free ToyoCare oil changes" or "major car repairs" that can't wait. Otherwise, I steer clear of this place--and trust me, you'll want to as well. First off, arriving here feels like walking into a chaotic circus with no ringmaster. It's super crowded, and you have no idea who's who or where to go. The appointment system? Completely meaningless. Don't bother making one, because it won't save you from the madness. Oil changes cost nearly $100 (yes, really), and the sticker reminder they give you is only good for 3,000 miles. For that price, I was expecting a gold-plated sticker or at least one that lasts until my next mortgage payment. And the service? Let's just say snails could probably finish an oil change faster. But wait--before you even get to the service part, a sales advisor will most likely recommend a laundry list of unnecessary things to "fix" on your car. "You should probably replace x, y, and z," they'll say, even though all you wanted was a simple oil change. Salesman said there's nothing wrong with it, it's a new car. Update march 28. Car has 6500 miles. Gears will respond differently and randomly lunges sometimes and when you break it can't find where to downshift. It doesn't matter which mode you are in. I bought a Camry from Atlanta Toyota in 2007 and have had my car serviced there ever since (I recently replaced the car with a different make). At first, they always washed the car and vacuumed the interior when I brought it in for service. Later, they simply handed out a card for a free carwash across the street. Today, my girlfriend brought in her 2018 Corolla for service and spent over $2,000. It was returned unwashed and not vacuumed and without even a card for a free carwash. The advisor said they no longer do that. It's the little things that brings a five star experience down to a three star one. I only go here because they include maintenace since I bought a car with them. But every time I go it's some kind of problem. Last time I went their website said it was spyware and I couldn't make an appointment. Since I have a disability and can't stand long, I called and made an appointment over the phone. When I got there, the person had not made an appointment at all and I had to stand for over 20 minutes in a line of people who had not made appointments. I am disabled, and they know this because I have handicap plates on my car, but they left me standing there anyway. This time I went and I had an appointment with Diego. I got there exactly on time only to see Diego calling someone up from the line of people who didn't have appointments and then leave me standing for 20 minutes waiting for him, and he wouldn't even let one of his coworkers help me. I cannot stand for 20 minutes without being in agony, and this company does not care at all. They regularly leave me standing there trying not to cry for unacceptably long periods of time. I didn't get seen until after 3:20 for my 3:00 appointment, when half the front desk workers were just standing there with nothing to do because they claimed only Diego could help me. This is absolutely ridiculous that no one could help me but Diego could help someone else in my time slot. read more

After they Improperly completed my Oil Change, they spent weeks attempting to correct their mistake. Beware, the tech that did this is still employed there. During the repairs they did NOT update me on progress, I had to keep contacting the Assistant Manager/Maintenance who was dismissive. After they returned my vehicle, It still does not run as it did pre oil change. I spoke directly to the General Manager and was told that "if customers don't like their work they can go elsewhere", but that he would look into fixing my problem and call me. That was weeks ago and I have heard nothing. If you have a camera system they will take it upon themselves to disconnect it WITHOUT Asking you, Informing you, or Reconnecting it. They say it is so their Techs are not recorded, but they have cameras throughout their repair shop. So they just don't want you having a record of what was inside or around your vehicle. IMO Atlanta Toyota in Duluth does poor work, is dishonest, is dismissive, will not keep you informed on your repairs, will not do what they say and can not be trusted with your vehicle! $4K markup on all Rav4 hybrid :( Their BS reason: it's not even a markup. Dealerships don't have any rebates or dealer cash from the manufacturer. We used to have 5-10k per new car coupons from Toyota. So if I sold a car for MSRP we used to take the rebate and eat it as profit. In response i pretty much shared with the manager (Paz) the items i listed from my review here on Yelp. He made every effort to amend the situation from contacting me directly to holding the vehicle until my wife was available to inspect and unlitmately give the thumbs up to move forward with the purchase. Our sales guy (Jason) was very helpful and attentive as was the finance guy (Amjum). I waited in line some more & eventually they took my car in around 10am. At 1pm, I was wondering what was taking so long (there was no communication as to how long it would take - just to wait in the waiting area & that I would receive a call when it was ready). I called at 1pm & was told that my representative was out to lunch. I received a call at 2pm to let me know that my car was ready. 4 hours for them to remove a broken screw from my license plate. +1 star though because they had AC in the waiting area. With how long they take, they might as well add a cafeteria though! read more

This place is actually terrible for pricing. If you go here to do anything auto parts related or transmission, DO NOT COME HERE. This place literally charges 2x the price for a transmission oil flush. Regular prices outside is literally half the price. Do not get reeled in just because you bought a car here and now you feel reluctant to pay for the auto problems. Find somewhere else. I got a transmission change for 369 before I can change it they already did the labor. They charge an arm and a leg for labor or something cause another auto company charges way less. HAD THE MOST B******T EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! My girlfriend and I scheduled a routine maintenance appointment since her "check engine" light came on for the morning of 12/31. The plan was the drop the car off, run errands, then pick up the car once it was ready. We get to the dealership and the service rep, Rich, said they only need to do a wheel alignment. So we drop off the car, run errands, and return to pick up the car once it was ready. When we return, my girlfriend signs the paper and pays for the service. After paying, they walk her outside to her car and cant find it. Strange...the car is not in the pickup location after the service is performed. What is even more strange is after looking for it, they find the car in the parking spots to go into the garage to get serviced. WHAT IS EVEN MORE STRANGE is the check engine light was on and they never replaced the maintenance windshield sticker. We are confused why it is in the wrong location, why the check engine light was on, and why they never replaced the sticker! IS IT BECAUSE THEY NEVER SERVICED THE CAR?? Rich swears the car was serviced and turns off the check engine light in front of us, but he never provided any paperwork to show what was serviced. He leaves and we are extremely confused if the car was even serviced. There is no way to check if an alignment was performed by ourselves. We return back to Rich's desk and tell him we need the paperwork to show that the tires were aligned. He hands us an alignment paperwork and says it is for our car, BUT THEY HAD THE WRONG CAR ON THE PAPERWORK. We tell him it is for the wrong car, but he swears it is for our car. He calls the mechanic to come to his desk and the mechanic says they need to put the car back on the rack to scan to get the information. We agree and hand him the keys. Rich says the reading will take 5 minutes because they just need to put the car on the rack, scan it, and then take it down. 5 minutes go by...10 minutes...20 minutes...IT TAKE THEM 45 MINUTES TO GET THE CAR BACK!! I AM FURIOUS THAT THEY LIED TO OUR FACES! THEY TOOK THE CAR BACK BECAUSE THEY NEVER DID THE SERVICE IN THE FIRST PLACE!! THEY MADE US SIGN AND PAY FOR A SERVICE THAT WAS NEVER PERFORMED AND GAS LIT US TO THINK IT WAS DONE, WHEN ALL THE SIGNS POINTED THE OTHER WAY!!! WARNING ladies and first buyer I bought a RAV4 on 4/16/2024. The saleman was good, did his best to help me to find the car I want, but the finance man, Uzair Ashfaq, is my nightmare. He always said he's honest and help me to purchase the car. I'm the first buyer and so stupid when I believe him. He added a lot of additional items to me (total is over $10,000) and didn't notice me it's extra money. He only pointed he helped me a good interest rate and didn't say anything about other cost. He's such a liar. If you don't know, this dealer use the electronic sign, not hard paper anymore. The finance man tried to skip the price details really quick, and pushed me to sign the paper. Swear to God, I didn't see the additional items he added to me. I didn't even know what the Flexprotect is or the extended warranty. He avoided to tell me it's not include in the OTD price and didn't ask if I want to add. I come back the next day when I found out and requested to cancel all of them. He said he would cancel all for me but need to wait until I received the billing mail. He said my interest rate would be higher, as 11%, if I canceled all of that. I agreed with that. I accept the higher rate to save my hard-working $10,000. Then, today (4/24/2024) I come back with the mail, he said I couldn't cancel all because they're installed in my car. It's ridiculous. What does it mean that the warranty for tire & wheel, keys, etc,.. is installed in the car and can't take off. I signed cancellation form the GAP insurance and platinum coverage, but have to wait for 6-8 weeks to money back. Please choose other dealer or other people to deal with that. Here, they only try to take your money. Don't believe them when they said help you or whatever. Please please please check the price details before you sign the paper. read more
