Not sure how some of these employees still have a job there, they clearly have no idea how to service cars. Customer service is horrible. Dont go to the place, they like to take your money but hate when you have a problem with the car THEY SOLD YOU. Forget about calling because they will leave you on hold until you decide to hang up and call back and then they put you on hold again and leave you there. Not impressed with this dealership. It's more like a factory with one person helping five people at a time so you're stuck waiting hours to get simple tasks done. Seems the concept is 'we have to be here so we don't care how long you are too' given that one of the financial advisors basically said exactly that to us but sir-YOU get paid to be there whereas I am paying a large amount of money to be here. Anyway, it wasn't until we got up and put our coats on to leave that they suddenly struck a deal that was more to our liking. But regardless, we leased a nice Dodge Ram ...but if you want my opinion-check another dealership first...as horrible as every one of my experiences at the Lexus dealership I deal with is, I am still the only customer being dealt with at one time-it's a more personable experience which is better for reoccurring customers. Dont bother going to this dealership. I dont know what happened but their service dept is horrendous. Over the years I've leased 3 vehicles and bought 2 used vehicles from atlantic dealerships and have always had a good experience. I dropped my truck off for an oil change on 6/6 for a 6/7 appt using the night drop. I never received a call that the truck was done which is rare. 9 out of 10 times they call before any work is performed. I called later in the day to see if it was ready and they said it was. I went to the dealership with my 6 yr old to pick up the vehicle. Once i paid, there was nobody at valet and i had to wait. Finally someone came and after looking for a while they said that they couldnt find my truck. Eventually they said it must be in the overflow lot. So, i was driven to the other lot by valet with my son. Obviously the dealership didnt have a booster seat and I didnt bring one because i didnt think id have to go 5 min away to get my truck. Also, the valet said that driving customers to the overflow lot is common practice. I dont like the idea of someone driving around town in my 6.4L ram burning unnecessary gas then having to hitch a ride to go get it. We got to a unpaved dusty parking lot There were only a few vehicles there but they felt the need to park my ram in the back of the lot in a row of bushes. I attached a picture that shows my truck literally backed into bushes. At this point, i had a dusty scratched truck and terrible experience in every aspect. I went back to the dealership to voice my complaint about the whole experience. The general manager agreed with me and said the service manager would call me the next day. The call never happened and still waiting since 6/7. I posted a similar review on the dealers website a few days later but they immediately removed the bad review. It has been three months since my car purchase and it will go down as the worst shopping experience of my life. I have given the dealership every opportunity to address my concerns and they continue to confirm my fears that this is the worst dealership on Long Island. I had a pre-approval for a loan and wanted to put no money down. I showed the salesman the pre-approval letter and he said no problem to both. He also showed me the price for the car I wanted and said that it was for everything rolled in(taxes...ect). He comes back with the paperwork and says I need to put money towards my first month payment to make the deal go through. I figure it is not a big deal to not have to make a payment for 2 months so I go ahead and give them my credit card for the payment despite telling them I did not want to put any money down. I see the finance manager and he tries to coerce me to sign paperwork for a loan that is for a much higher interest rate then I was told I was approved for. I let him know that I was already pre-approved for a low rate from CapitalOne and he said he would fix it. He comes back with the corrected paperwork and my payments are $85 less per month! After refusing his warranty presentation he says they will throw in a service contract for free for my troubles. Despite the issues at at the Dealership, I actually left feeling like i got a good deal. It was only after looking at the invoice when I got home that I found out I was lied to, and that they raised the price of the car $4k above the MSRP and used my rolled in taxes to try to disguise what they did. I also received 5 hard credit hits on my credit report despite telling the salesman and the finance manager I had a pre-approval through CapitalOne. I spoke to the Sales Manager Tim and General Manager Joe. I was able to speak with Tim but he could not help so he said I need to speak to Joe, but Joe called out sick the day I was supposed to meet with him. Of course no-one calls me and I take time out of my day to meet him only to find out he is not there. Joe finally calls me back and does not apologize, instead he says he never calls out. I could care less if he calls out 364 days a year, just make sure someone calls me out of respect for my time if he is not going to be there. Needless to say Joe is combative on the phone, shows zero empathy or concern for my situation, and tells me I should compare a car purchase with a home purchase and that he has 5 lawyers on retainer. I had a public notary and lawyers representing both parties on my recent home purchase. I if I had known this is how Atlantic Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge operates I would have brought a lawyer with me. Joe tied to convince me on the phone that I had buyers remorse... no Joe, I love the car, I have dealership remorse. Adding salt to my wounds is my cars temporary registration was expiring. I emailed the dealership and they said they were taking care of it. I check with DMV and my permanent registration was processed 2 days before my temp registration expired. My car would not be able to be on the road if I did not get my registration - seems like the company plays games for numbers... ie. makes sure certain amount of cars are registered in certain months. Either way, I have already contacted the NYS Department of Financial Services, the NYS DMV, the CFPB, the FTC, and in the process of filing formal complaints with the BBB and the NYS AG. And of course, sharing my experience across social medial so folks can be aware of what takes place here. There are plenty of dealerships out there selling the same cars, take your business elsewhere... -Atlantic Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge shared my personal credit information with at least 5 banks without my permission -Atlantic Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge forced me to put a downpayment towards my first months payment(called my bank and they have no idea what they are talking about) - Atlantic Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge tried to trick me into signing paperwork for a much higher interest rate - Atlantic Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge told me they were throwing in a service contract for free yet charged me $1,000! - Atlantic Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge told me the car price was with everything rolled in(taxes) instead it was just the invoice price(they bumped the price up so they could use the MFG rebate for their own profit) read more

3 months ago my husband took his Jeep here to be serviced. IT WAS STOLEN. We didn't get upset with the dealership because somethings are out of their control. Since then, they've ignored the insurance calls, I had to figure out through my own insurance how to rent a vehicle because they could care less. It's not their problem anymore. They didn't have the courtesy to call and apologize. I had to pretty much figure out how to handle this type of situation through research. SUPER SUSPECT DEALERSHIP. DO NOT PAY THE FEES FOR A LEASE WITHOUT SHOPPING AROUND AND RESEARCHING. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. Travis helped at first. He seemed nice enough but of course I'm always skeptical of a car salesperson. After I picked out the car I wanted we went over numbers. I wanted to lease so I was very clear that I was not putting any money down. After coming back with payment amounts he finally hit a number I wanted except that he said $3000 down. I said I wasn't putting money down and I would just pay whatever taxes and fees at signing. He tells me the taxes and fees were built into the payment and that I would need to put $3000 down. I kept telling him I wasn't doing that and he kept saying it's the same thing. He was trying to confuse me but didn't work. Then his tattooed, alcohol smelling manager comes over and shows what the taxes and fees would come out to which was almost $4000! He said I'm trying to save you money. I said are you kidding me?? The two dealerships I was at prior said taxes and fees were around $2500 so why the hell are you charging me $4000? He wrote the fees out. $1000 delivery fee, $495 administrative fee $1000 bank fee and $1500 tax. Bull shit fees. They wouldn't give me a print out like the last two places did. Travis at one point said "I'm not trying to be a dick". Real professional language. Also tried to tell me if I got a black Jeep it was $800 cheaper than the granite. Bull shit. And said the the amount for over mileage was set by the manufacturer. Not true it's set by the bank. He wanted me to sign that day and asked for my credit card to take to his manager to show him I'm serious and if he got the number I wanted they would put a $500 deposit on it. I said hell no. I walked out and they let me so they didn't want my business. I would have signed at that moment if they weren't suspect liars. Anyway, they tried to confuse me and act like I was an idiot for not understanding. I understood perfectly. The only confusing part was that they didn't understand that I wasn't the idiot they thought I was. In the end I leased a 2019 Jeep Compass altitude from Westbury Jeep for the same monthly payment that Atlantic offered me and taxes/fees paid at signing were $2500 with no money down. We purchased a new Jeep on September 02, 2019; here we are 3+ weeks later, and we STILL don't have a "new" car. Rather than take up potential customers' time here, I will bullet point details: * The ONLY bright spot in the entire facility is Travis, a Salesperson; we were comfortable with him through the actual sale, and, he went above and beyond to help us through this mess, and it wasn't even his problem!! 5 Stars for Travis!! * 9/2/19 Purchased new Jeep Latitude for $30K * 9/2/19 We were pushed to take it the same day (not by Travis) (FYI to all: dealerships must pay interest on new vehicles until they leave their inventory ( a little bargaining power for you) * 9/2/19 Vehicle driven from other location to this one (we had to wait for it); they washed it, and gave it to us. We noticed two (2) large scratches on the rear bumper; they promised to put a new bumper on. 30 minutes later it was given back to us with buff marks!! * 9/10/19 (Appointment to bring in the Jeep for the bumper). Once again, they buffed out the bumper, then told us it was fixed. We just bought a brand-new vehicle and they buffed out a scratch instead of replacing it like they said they would - nice try!! We were then told they would order a new bumper. * 9/9/19 - 9/13/19 were phone calls made to them, with no response for nearly a week. Kat from service made promises she didn't keep; I had to text our Salesperson Travis (again, the ONLY bright spot here), and he jumped in. * 9/17/19 We were (again) told to bring the Jeep in on this day (yup...another day wasted [oh joy]!! They once again, buffed out the scratch and did not replace the bumper. * 9/25/19 We were told to bring the Jeep in on this day, so we did. Only to have it sitting there for five (5) hours before they called us to say the new bumper that was shipped to them was damaged...another wasted day!! Don't you check your parts when they arrive?? Not only that, but we had to call the dealership to find out that the bumper was already in!! * 9/25/19 continued...My wife dropped the Jeep off (because I was so frustrated, I was not leaving work again for this). 30 minutes later she called me from the facility stating that she has been standing there for 1/2 hour, after she was told someone would drive her home because she could not have a loaner. I called Fiat/Chrysler, then called the Service Manager of Atlantic Jeep, Tom. The first thing he said to me was "I just walked in the door, I don't know what happened". Who the heck would tell a customer that?!? The buck stops somewhere! Anyway, he finally got my wife home. * 9/25/19 (STILL)... Kat from Service stated that she was on vacation, which is why we didn't receive a call about the bumper being in for days. Really?!? Well that's worse than the Service Manager not knowing what happened!! So, when a Service Person goes on vacation, everything stops?? Kat did call my wife later (wow...a first!!) and told her that the Jeep would be kept overnight, and that she would call her tomorrow (which would be 9/26/19) * 9/26/19 (Today): Guess what...NO PHONE CALL!! There is only so much sub-par service [or anything] that someone can take. We bought a brand-new car 3 weeks ago and it's STILL not new! I called Fiat/Chrysler today and wound up telling them that the facility can keep the Jeep; we are buying one elsewhere. Since it was about 6:30pm at this point, I also left a message for Tom the Service Manager, as well as Kat in Service, and said similarly. I'll let my Attorney deal with the rest. * In closing, I WOULDN'T SEND MY DOG THERE!! If you walked out your front door 3 days in a row and got hit in the head with a bucket of poop, would you do it again a 4th time? Nope, you would return the favor. I walked in to see a car that I saw online and the online price was "incorrect" according to the salesman and marked it up by $5,000. He sat me down and told me he would work with me and then asked for my information once I gave it to him he came back and told me to wait for 15min. I HAD NO IDEA HE WAS RUNNING MY CREDIT! My transaction was fairly quick. I went in at 9am and I was in my ram by 1. I have a few complaints about this place and I'm sure I'm not alone. When I went in I expected a negotiation process, but that was not the case here. The truck was priced under book value anyway so I wasn't disappointed with that. After my test drive I saw that the gas light was on. I'm not sure why, but I noticed every used vehicle I test drove had no fuel. After a thorough inspection of the truck I saw that one of the tires were low on tread and I asked them in the nicest way if they can throw in a tire with the deal and the manager said "I'm not doing a thing to that truck, it's priced to sell and if you don't like it I'm positive someone else will" so they passed the inspection with a low tread tire which is illegal, but anyway ...I was still in love with the truck so I purchased it. After I get out of the finance office and all the paper work was signed I go out to my truck and see that it's still dirty, so I asked my salesman if he can throw in a wash and he ignored my question and switched topics. I was graciously rewarded with a 20 dollar fuel voucher, but I think after spending an arm and a leg on a warranty and a non negotiated price, a tank of gas would have been nice along with a good cleaning, but it seemed like once the sale was finalized my existence wasn't that important. So on 12/26/20, I have an appointment with them to do a lease trade, from 2018 to 2021... should be seemless 1 would think, NOPE.... one would also think that if the lease on the 2018 is at 350 a month, why in the world would I agree to 70 more a month for the same damn Jeep and with more money as a down payment (after twisting my arm).... Like everyone thinks all car salesman are crooks, and this place hires the best of the best!!! I could barely understand our salesman he talked WAY TOO FAST, and with an accent, so understanding what he was doing with numbers was confusing and I'm an office manager!!!! On that Saturday, I will say it was crowded but apparently there was ONE finance guy in and the wait for him was 2 hours... we had to finalize paperwork after a return trip and to boot couldn't even get the new Jeep that night either because it wasn't ready... (no, they lacked to call my corporate insurance company because It would have been too much work) When I finally was able to pick up the new Jeep, I was given just the key fob, no second set and no key insert and was told they were recently victims of theft.... ok, not my problem i would like ALL THE KEYS TO MY CAR!!! I also didn't get a copy of my insurance card, and never got a copy of my lease agreement until a week later when my salesman's new assistant and someone who spoke English called me and asked how I was liking the car... he got an earful... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I went here because I thought I was getting the best deal. After short negotiations with a salesman that seemed confused by my, very straight forward questions, the manger smugly acted as if he was giving me his first born by leasing me a car for the price that I was quoted. When I went to follow-up with information about my car that I just, somewhat reluctantly, leased from them I was put on hold and got a run around. Turned out no one could help me because the salesman had been let go! No one contacted me and the manager didn't remember me two days later. Nice job everybody. To add insult to injury, my leased jeep virtually hasn't worked since the day I got it. Compounding this issue is the equally unapproachable service staff. You walk through the broken door into a run-down hallway and basically just stand in front of a plethora of staff members for an unreasonable amount of time until you are acknowledged. You then answer questions and give accounts the awful condition the car is in with what feels like skepticism with a sprinkle of unprofessionalism. I have brought my 2016 Jeep Cherokee several times for the same issue and they have all been absolutely no help. The car is never fixed and I am burdening them when I ask for a loaner car because God forbid I get to work. It's embarrassing that they're still in business. read more

My nephew was trading in another jeep also and was promised the remaining lease payments would be satisfied. Well now almost a month later and we are still waiting for a check to be sent to the leasing company. Due to the mistake working the deal they will have to pay 1549.00 more than they thought. We are still waiting and I am about to go there on the busiest day of the week and let all the customers know what we are going through. We just want it paid off before it goes over 30 days and hits the kids credit. I will now start calling everyday as they just keep telling my nephew that there are no managers there. We had all the numbers figured out before we signed and the finance manager tried his hardest to change everything. We are no fools and have played this game too many times over our 11 new car purchases. First he tried to say are pre negotiated price was wrong, sorry we had signed contract, then he tried to put us in a 72 month loan, sorry we already have our own financing at 48 months. Then he tried to push a service contract, again sorry we got one through a nationwide mopar service contract seller for 50% cheaper. Do your homework or they'll take advantage of you! I have never purchased a vehicle from Atlantic Chrysler Jeep Dodge, but I have used their service department. And I will never give them another dime. While a technician was replacing a rear sensor 2 weeks ago, he broke a plastic connector piece that a service manager described as "brittle." They refused to cover the $207 and I had no choice but to pay it (they had my vehicle and my choice was to pay the $207 or get a tow truck to bring my Jeep to another service shop). The manager and I argued back and forth, but in the end he refused to accept responsibility for a broken connector piece that wasn't broken until his technician broke it. While he did follow up with a few phone calls the following day in my behalf with my warranty company, it really just was a deflection of responsibility. Hope the $207 saved was worth losing a customer for. Bad business move in my opinion. On a positive note they did replace the sensor. read more

I knew trading in my lease was going to be difficult during a Pandemic but it still had to be done... I wasn't expecting a regular buying experience but at this point in my life I have leased many cars and am not new to the processes involved. I DO NOT recommend anyone go to Atlantic Jeep. The service was very unprofessional as instead of returning my phone call so I could ask questions and there would be minimal room for error, they decided to have "Shameiqua" text me instead as if buying a car via text is ok.... I had multiple questions that I don't feel were clearly answered and this was the first time I've ever tried to purchase a vehicle and been treated as if they didn't care about the sale and as if I was being unrealistic. I am an essential healthcare worker and multiple dealerships are offering incentives with only taxes needed for down payment. I had my heart set on a Jeep Cherokee but thanks to Shameiqua I got my dream car from King O'rouke instead which is a more expensive care, fully loaded and for $50,000 I have a significantly lower payment than what I was offered via text from Jeep and also a few dollars lower than what I was paying for my Hyundai. She even had the audacity to ask me what i was trying to accomplish !!! I am the type of customer that will pay the right price for quality service and product but i shouldn't have to make an offer on a car, they should also have been providing me with any promotions available. Why do i have to inquire? They didn't deserve my sale and don't deserve anyone else's. RUN!!!!!!I appreciate how King O'rouke didn't text me, they called and made an appt for me to come in and meet with someone while still keeping social distancing in place. ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP than this one! I don't even know where to start....since my dealings aren't done yet with them, I'll just give you a few highlights for now: 1. Pre-owned department staff are liars 2. They added $1,700 to an agreed upon price for a 2014 Ram and called it a "Reconditioning" fee!!!!!! They say it's standard!! LIARS. I finally got them to drop this made up fee but then they went back to charging me the original price for the truck. 3. They told me the total amount that I should get the bank check for and the day I went to pick up the truck, there was an extra $85 added. I gave them my credit card and he charged $85 on my credit card, I signed the little receipt and was walking out when he then asked me for my license. He claims he needed a copy of my license because I just charge $85 on my credit card. I told him he can look at my license to make sure that that was me but he's not getting a copy of my license. This turned ugly fast. He threatened to report me. I laughed and said who to my mother? I explained that I use my credit card every day and once in a while somebody asks to see it, but never for a copy of it for an $85 charge. He wouldn't let this go. My husband and I went to this dealership yesterday 2/18/20 to purchase the Dodge Rebel pickup truck. We agreed to the price and signed a few papers but was told to come back today 2/19/20 to do the financing because they were too busy. It seems a bit shady but we said ok. Met with the finance guy S. Rivera who was extremely unprofessional, rude, argumentative, and totally disrespectful. He is mandating that we finance through them at a ridiculous high rate and got all angry that he won't sell us the truck when we said no I had to walk out of the office when he literally told me to shut up because we signed the paperwork agreeing to go through them. So we decide to get our deposit back and left. I had purchased several cars recently but this was the worst experience by far. If you broke down directly in front of Atlantic Jeep you'd be better off walking to find another place to get your car fixed. 2 weeks and $1500 later I have my car back (quoted 2 days, left it on a Wednesday, promised Friday). Getting in touch with the Service department is harder the the search was for Bin Laden. Please take my advice and go anywhere else, I promise you'll thank me. Its been a month since my initial review. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE BY Atlantic TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. Additional complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and I will likely be forced to bring a lawyer into the matter. Viewed their site and found a car in their inventory I was interested in seeing. After speaking with my salesperson, Tony Russo, I found out about other options available so decided to go with a different car. He did the "let me go speak to my manager game"and came back with an offer. I asked what else could he do and he said to me "we aren't a not for profit organization here". Seriously?! I went home and found the exact same car I was looking to buy, for the price I would have been willing to spend ON THEIR WEBSITE. Today I went to Merrick Chrysler and Jeep in Wantagh and spoke to a salesman who couldn't have been more helpful. Worked with me to get me to a payment amount that I was comfortable with ... how funny was it to find out that he previously worked for Atlantic Jeep ... and knew all about Tony. People ... stay away from Atlantic Jeep! I had previously purchased from Atlantic Hyundai and figured that since they were part of the same family I would be treated as I had been in the past ... This dealership is poorly run in my opinion. I've leased multiple Jeeps here and my latest experience was ridiculous. The salesperson was completely uninformed and unprofessional and the manager was acting like I was a first time car buyer. He gave the impression my sale was an annoyance to him and was pushing a truck we stated very clearly we did not want. From misleading ads to a team unethical sales representatives going to this dealership was a total waste of my time. Ad says: 35k actual cost: 40k. They valued our trade at 30% under value and after we got pissed off and left they called us back to offer us the full value. I dont know how much worse it could have been. Our finance "manager" is clueless on the laws, explained nothing, and was in a hurry to get us out of his way. Nobody could find the one with "our" paperwork. He was missing most of the time. Cost us an extra 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, someone else started our application (after we started complaining), then "our" finance manger Tom Fer..... showed up. He put in all our information to get us the best rate. After that, he disappeared again. We waited while other staff looked for him, again he appeared from who knows where. He was in and out until our paperwork was "done" (his words) from some mysterious woman we never saw. Once he had the paperwork, he was like lightening, telling us each page was for such and such and to sign and initial. He went so fast we had no idea what page was what. Before we left I asked him about GAP insurance and he said that the "she" (the mysterious woman) did not put it on our paperwork and we did not need it anyway (obviously he did not want to be bothered having her redo the paperwork). Then he went into a big ramble about why we did not need it. He also told us we could add it afterwards (which I have since found out was a lie). He then asked my husband for motor vehicle fees up front and we were done. Once we got home and looked at the paperwork, we realized we should have gotten the GAP insurance. We wanted to know if we could add it. In addition, the motor vehicle fees was included in our finance. I called almost everyday since then for a week and half, and he called me back once. And that was after I contacted our salesman that I was having trouble having him call me back. I cannot get answers, I cannot get a courtesy phone call, I can not get in touch with anyone in finance. He is a misinformed, uneducated in the finance laws and requirements, and is more interested in doing something other than helping customers. He explained nothing to us. Just sign and go and he will have nothing to do with you once you walk out (or while you are standing there if he can help it) This is absolutely no reflection on our salesman who was extremely attentive. I gave him a 5 star rating (separate review). He was absolutely great the entire time. If you are paying cash or have other means other than using their finance department, then maybe it will be a good experience. If you have to use their finance department, better educated yourself before hand because they are not there to guide you, only to have you sign (as they do not even fill out the paperwork). Go over every little piece because there was a lot on our paperwork not explained to us. If you are a "finance manager" you would think you should be more patient with your customer than rushing them along like you have something better waiting for you. He appears to be a nice guy. Until you find out otherwise. There should be repercussion for someone like this. Now I am without GAP insurance as I cannot add it after the paper signing and they do not offer it through insurance (which he also stated) in our state. I would give it zero stars based upon the bait and switch tactics I felt the dealer pulled on me after discussing my pricing many times on a grand Cherokee and the number never changed. After I come in and have agreed on all pricing and the value of trade, I grow to find out that my true price is $1,000 higher because they supposedly gave me credit for currently having a lease?? Never even talked having a lease during the 2 plus hours I was there plus the five plus phone calls previous. My recommendation is don't give them a dime of your money. The attempted scam made me want to lose my shit on the sales manager who denied the error and couldn't explain how I was trading in a car I owned and he gave me purchase numbers on that he was also giving me existing lease credit(land rover as well- don't lease those from Chrysler)?? PLEASE DO NOT LEASE OR PURCHASE A VEHICLE AT THIS DEALERSHIP! They are so unprofessional, from the secretary to the billing people. It took well over a month for me to get my license plates and every time I called for an update, they were either 'too busy to come to the phone' or would call me back ( they never called back ). I went here because they gave the best price on a Grand Cherokee lease, but it has been a disaster trying to deal with them. After my great experience here previously, I came back when I needed an oil change. I was a little hesitant since I told they're no appointments only first come first serve. So I arrived at 8 am before work and was told the wait should be a half hour. Over an hour later I finally got out of there. This was disappointing as it made me late for work.
