First or last rest stop depending on which direction you're traveling, right before Atlantic City. It's off of the Garden State Parkway. Plenty of parking and there's one big building that has restrooms and stores. There's also a gas station here and I believe they have a seperate store as well. Plenty of options to eat though all fast food. There's also a store for drinks, snacks, smokes etc. Each fast food place is set to order and then they all share seating in the middle of the main floor. There's plenty of seating as well. The bathrooms were big and updated as well. Plenty of stalls and sinks. A very nice and modern rest stop. read more

It's a busy rest area replete with all the amenities you've come to expect from a Garden State highway oasis - a sticky floor substance of dubious origin, watery overpriced java and suspect microwave pizza. Just be sure to beat the senior center tour bus into the restrooms. Like all these places, I just hold my breath and hope I don't run into one of America's Most Wanted working at Roy Rogers. More like the Atlantic Sh**ty Service Area. Not my favorite rest area by any means. Not a fan of the Starbucks here, or the stop in general. It's a little bit overpriced even though it's clean and large and spacious. The cop station is right next to it, so you can feel safe or not safe, depending on whether you are somebody that is routinely oppressed by cops. read more

Kind of the "Mini-Me" of service stops. Heading into Atlantic City this service plaza is right before the AC Expressway, and a good enough stop to hit the bathroom or fill up the tank when heading home. As compared to the other service stops along the Parkway or Jersey Turnpike this one is small. Seems like the rest stop that time forgot. Burger King, Roy Rogers Express, Hershey's Ice Cream, Nathan's Hot Dogs, all side by side. Some tables and chairs in a small dining area. Restrooms are adequate for a rest stop. Gift shop (as always!) and newsstand/convenience store too. Overall clean but could use a renovation. Never seems crowded here. No Starbucks! Full serve Sunoco gas station on site. Fill it up with cheaper Jersey gas before hitting NY! read more

Men's bathroom floor constantly sticky, not really the cleanest of all restrooms. Average like most other rest stops on the parkway

This rest stop features a gas station, bathrooms, a Burger King/Roy Rogers combo, a Nathan's, convenience store, and seating. The seating isn't very plentiful, the ladies restroom mirrors are (seriously!) positioned for 6' people, and there's no good coffee to be had. On the upside: - the baby changing station was NOT located in the handicapped stall, so I didn't have to wait to change my infant. - there were plenty of toilets. No line! - Roy Rogers provides condiments in pump containers, and they have BBQ sauce, relish and mayo in addition to the regular ketchup/mustard options. read more

Prepared to be amazed by their selection of stores up to and including a Burger King, a Nathans and a convenience store. This was just a quick pit stop for coffee from a late night of boozing, gambling and more boozing at the casino in order to make it back to New York in one piece. The options for early morning breakfast were pretty limited and some items seemed like they might have been sitting there for 48+ hours. My friend wanted to get some food and the only thing that looked remotely appetizing was Burger King. The staff here looked like they were still half asleep (at 9:30 a.m.) and the cashier had no concept of how to take and return change. The only nice part about this rest station was the lady in the convenience store. Although she didn't sell any of the Ice Blue Halls in the 8 drop pack, she was very courteous and very pleasant to converse with aside from all the zombie-like employees roaming about the floor. The bathroom wasn't that great because it wreaked of urine but it was still usable. read more

Friendly staff at this mart. And GREAT coffee, fresh and hot. Gallons of spring water for 2.50. I didn't expect much from here but left very happy. Great place when leaving AC for coffee and gas. Take note, it's just gas and Mart at this point. The rest is under construction related to the fast food mentioned in the previous review. read more

I believe Jen was scribbled in her name at Starbucks, she also had one million pins on. But when she saw me walk up to the counter she threw her hands up and said Jesus Christ. Then an older man came after me and he asked for his coffee black so he could put stuff in himself. She said "that's why I asked you if you want it black or not" her tone was so rude. Sorry you have to do the job you're paid to do. I was going to say something once she was disrespectful to the older man behind me but she was still working on my drink back there I didn't want her to spit in it. read more

This service area is very clean. I was not grossed out by the restrooms, which is a plus. They also have Starbucks, Burger King, Antie Anne's and free wifi. read more

Half of the soap dispensers in the bathroom were dysfunctional. Hersheys did not have any marshmallow soft serve ice cream..... I was so disappointed because we stopped just for this ice cream. Will never go back again. read more

Good bathroom stop, but that's about it. Very small and feels dirty. The staff isn't the friendliest and there is always a wait no matter when you go. There are plans to renovate the service plaza including the restrooms and food areas so improvement should be seen once that is complete. Otherwise nothing notable to mention. read more
