I didn't get the young man's name, regrettably, but the young man doing fries was a hustler. The iced tea was out. He changed it quickly. Then he came out and was sweeping and straightening tables. Then back to the fries. The fries were perfect!! The previous few times I've eaten here my fries were under done. Today, crispy, not mushy. Food is fair to good depending upon who is working the grills. Staff looks almost new every time I go into store, and I'm not overly impressed by most of the employees attitudes. A lot of chitchat bullshit talk between employees that was very distracting. Too much employee interaction with friends that stop by. And becoming indifferent about what job they are doing. McDonald's employees have a much better attitude and I'd recommend MickeyDs over this place. Burgers and fries are very expensive. Make sure your food is hot and correctly prepared. read more

I don't understand! If I don't order NO TOMATO, I always get tomato. I ordered the same order I order every time. A cheeseburger with mayo, extra cheese, onion, and lettuce. I get home and there's tomato on my fucking burger again. I'm allergic to tomato I can't have it. The last time I called in for an order I said "and can you make sure you don't put any tomato on the burger" and the lady said that if I don't order tomato then they shouldn't be putting tomato on the burger. If I could, I would have given zero stars. I had a busy day, so I ordered delivery for my large family from Five Guys in Absecon. I ordered online and arranged for delivery through Door Dash. It arrived fairly quickly. Unfortunately, it was missing a sandwich. I immediately called the restaurant and was told they were sure they included everything in my order. I assured them that we were missing an item. If it had been French fries or a drink, I would not have cared or even called. I was told there was really nothing the restaurant could do for me other than to prepare a replacement sandwich for me the next time I came into the restaurant. I was incredulous. No credit back. No re-delivery. No apology. I told him that would not be necessary, that I would just explain to my son that he was not getting his Five Guys dinner tonight. My only real issue is if you order online they'll give you a time it'll be done but won't even start cooking it til you go inside to pick it up. No cheese fries which they have at the new york city venues. Staff seemed friendly enough, was a little joke-y so that gave a good atmosphere. They definitely give the most amount of fries compared to NYC. A little there would be about a large in NYC because they scoop everything inside the fry mixer and throw it in the bag with the rest of your food. This is the best five guys ever. Coming from nyc it's already a cheaper price point. Staff is nice and friendly. People that think they are rude seriously expect too much. No one wants to talk to a customer about their lives like get your burger and go. People leaving reviews saying there's no cheese fries. Well this product probably could be good my hamburger came out lukewarm to the staff was making so much noise behind the counter fooling around that I couldn't enjoy my meal. My hamburger came up missing an important ingredient, the bacon. I Told the staff about it and they handed me 4 slices of cold over cooked bacon. This place has continued to go down hill for years. The quality control is zero. There doesn't appear to be much oversight. The burgers and fries are inconsistent, over or undercooked. You often have to call them out on not giving you the scoop of fries. Corporate knows about the store. Same issues. Whenever I happen to stop at a 5 guys in another town, it's like going to a completely different place. You remember how the burgers and fries are supposed to taste. This place is so good, im glad its not that close to my home cause i would just get fat living so close to this amazing junk food. The burgers here are awesome, you get FRESH never frozen meat and you can tell the difference between this and crap fast food. The fries are made in peanut oil and it gives them a great taste and they never taste like oil. And btw you pretty much never need to order the large fries unless youre with like 4 people and splitting it cause for a regular the guy fills it, sticks it in your bag, and then scoops another full scoop of fries and throws it on top of the fries in the bag. So you end up with this massive pile of great tasting fries, what more can you ask for. My husband and I loved this place for burgers. And we have frequently ordered for many years from many different locations. This one is the absolute worst. Two months ago I ordered online, picked up my order got home to find out I had someone else's food. But, it had my ticket on the bag. We tried again today hoping maybe it was just a one time thing. Big Mistake. The burgers are dry and over cooked. The tomatoes are green, the lettuce is soggy. I did not what I ordered once again, it was missing cheese & bacon. They are put together so sloppy, half of my burger was outside the foil, hence the cold food. I will NEVER order from here again. Its unfortunate because the company has a good product, but this store has bad management. And it shows in what you get. We were introduced to Five Guys a few years ago in Maryland. After a trying time of shopping with the children, it was time for a quick bite. The guy taking the order was patient and friendly. The restaurant was clean. The girl who prepared our order was friendly and helpful. The main attraction (the food) was as awesome as we had remembered. The fresh burgers were perfectly cooked. we opted for several different toppings. The result was smiles all around. My BIL had raved about the fries. I recall them being nothing special. I don't know if something changed in the last couple years, but we loved the fries. A good amount of salt. We noted the potatoes were from North Dakota today. Nice touch. For a fast food joint, the burgers are delicious. It's not cheap dining here. One can easily beat the burgers at home on his own grill, but for the quick bite on the run, I'd take this any day over the other options. read more

One broken part of a pattie was sticking out, and without any of the toppings on it, I found the meat to be dry and tasteless. And they left out one of the toppings I ordered.
