What a great sandwich. I've been on the road for over 40 years and I know a good fresh sandwich as much as anyone.

I was being patient as it was very busy. After 40 minutes I inquired about it. It magically appeared from the kitchen. It had already been made but no one brought it out from the food prep area to the take out counter. Even after this experience....I wanted to go back, the hoagie was that good. Second Visit....A nasty older man in a fluorescent shirt had words with me for going in the "wrong" (????) side of the front double door. He actually told me to walk out of the empty store, that I had already entered, and walk back in via the other side of the double door!!!!! WTF!!!!!! He denied being an employee but another employee confirmed that he does indeed work at Boyers. This time the store was empty. I placed an order. 30 minutes later I inquired about my order. It still had not been made! This hoagie was nothing like the first. The entire sandwich had 2 slices of tomato, a few strings of onion and wilted lettuce. The lack of management, consistency and zero employee training is evident. You may get bullied over made up bull shit by an ASS HOLE psycho old man employed by Boyars. Your order is of no importance to the employees. They look half asleep. The food may or may not be good......there is no quality control. The employees do not give one SHIT about doing their jobs. Boyars....NOT WORTH THE AGGRAVATION!!!!!

ShopRite has coupons which you will find on-line, the Price Plus Card for instant discounts at the check-out register, as well. The Price Plus Card is free. You have three check-out options: 1) cashier, 2) self-check-out or 3) handicap accessible check-out lanes. Their ShopRite From Home allows you to shop from your computer. They have a pick-up area on the side of the building. There is a delivery option, as well. Both are fairly priced and a big help when you have my business schedule. The attached liquor department is convenient and well stocked. I often buy baked goods and specialty cakes here because they have a large selection and quality product. Day old baked goods are discounted. The cheese section is extensive and well stocked. Finally, the prepared foods are fresh and diverse. The Asian section has freshly made sushi. Italian section has some favorites plus pizza and heros. They also have comfort food like fried chicken. The Parsippany store is one of the largest in the chain. The lighting is bright, the store is well organized, the isles are wide but the flooring should be cleaner. This store is very crowed most of the time because of the price and quality. If you get overwhelmed or need to kill time there is always the Metropolitan Cafe. I wish I had the time to sit down and enjoy it.
