Not very clear cuz if you pay by credit card, that's how much it should be (what it shows on the register). It's NOT a discount if you paid in cash then. Was in New Jersey at the right time of the year for Apple picking. The week we went the orchard had 3 varieties that were ripe. We picked McIntosh, Gala and Honeycrisp. We got our exercise walking around the orchard to get the best apples. The best part is eating the apples right off the tree. Other varieties we saw were Red Delicious, Granny Smith and Golden Delicious apples, but they were not ripe yet. The orchard also had peaches available to pick that week All of the staff were very nice You pay by the pound. They have strong plastic bags to carry your apples. My favorite place to go apple picking! They have no entrance fees, which I truly appreciate. The cost of apples per pound is reasonable as well. They had many rows of apple trees to pick from. I like the different photo opportunities they had up as well. There was a minion, turkey, and cow display up when I went recently. So cute! They had some food stands up as well. I saw a lot of people getting the freshly squeezed lemonade. I didn't get it, but it seemed like it would be so refreshing to drink after picking apples! read more

The entrance is not well maintained or paved, but the parking lot is huge and its free. Upon arriving we checked in and there was no fee to enter. We brought our own bags and they just ask that we keep Peaches and Apples separate. The staff was pleasant and you pay for what you pick, $2.29 a LB. They had a bunch of tree lined areas with choices of, white and yellow peaches. This place is so big, to our surprise they had a few Apple Trees blooming with 2 selections. Its only August 2021 so that was expected. I got so happy when I saw the nectarines. My husband and I ate one and it was delicious. Its a pretty good exercise too. The weather was great for picking as it wasn't so hot out. I was able to pick up some Organic Strawberry and Raspberry Jam at $7.50 each and Eggplant at $1.99 a LB. They sell huge beautiful Sun Flowers for $2.50 each. They also have a a food truck with Hotdogs and other fast food, an Ice cream truck, and a Peach Ice Tea stand. We opted to dine elsewhere to avoid traffic heading back home. The only disappointment is this place does not have an eating area, no benches or a seating section to enjoy the food they sell. We arrived on a hooooot, sunny October Sunday and there were plenty of apples to pick. Not a single tree grows in the area, thus we were sweating bullets and frying in the sun mercilessly. Bring hats, sunglasses and sunblock. There are no stationary shops/stores. Only a patch of land that consists of the orchard. No shade anywhere. Pop up tents and trucks are set up every morning to cell goodies like apple cider doughnuts, apply cider, and other seasonal treats. No entrance fee. Cannot believe how many farms have started charging an entrance fee in these difficult times. Pick your own apples are $2.29 per lb. and pumpkins are $0.69 per lb. If you're paying with a credit card, you'll pay an additional 3.985% fee on your purchase. Our two bags of apples cost us $47 plus $2 credit card fee. On the first weekend of October, all you can pick here are apples and pumpkins. Sadly nothing else. Only Portable bathrooms available on the farm grounds. We usually spend the whole day on a pick your own farm, but we spent only less than two hours here. It's not Fall without a trip to the pumpkin patch! Eastmont Orchards was the perfect place to hunt for some Autumn goodies. Free parking and admission makes the trip even better. There was a wide selection of pumpkins to choose from--white or orange, baking or decorative, take your pick! For only .79 a pound, you can buy a quality pumpkin for a bargain! (Keep in mind, there is an upcharge for credit card use!) There are also wagons full of gourds in all different shapes and sizes--the perfect "natural" Halloween decorations! Many Insta-worthy photo-ops are positioned within the pumpkin patch, like the stack of hay bales in my photo below. On top of pumpkins, there's also a huge apple orchard nearby. We came at the end of apple season, so there wasn't much variety. However, we were able to find a nice bunch of Crispins and Red Delicious! Easton also has a food court with apple cider donuts, popcorn, and seasonal drinks, but I assume it's only open on weekends because it was closed when I visited on a Monday. Apple and pumpkin picking time on a beautiful autumn afternoon. There are at least 10 different varieties of apples to choose from as well as three different types of pumpkins & squash. This place was mobbed seeing the traffic at the exits. I was looking to pick some apples but I did not know what I wanted. They should have a station where employees can cut up the different types of apples so one can sample them. So what happens is, you have to go down the rows and pull an apple off a tree and sneak a bite. If you don't like it, you throw it on the ground where the others are strewn. Ha ha. I particularly like tart and hard apples and I do recommend the Cameo, a type you never see in the supermarkets. It's a fun day for the family but do not bring your pets. There were virtually no apples on the trees despite the facebook page mentioning that apples were available. Also it was really crowded on the weekend, probably because it seems to be one of the only farms not charging entry this year. We had visited a different farm a few weeks back that had a $5 entry. That was a much better experience... plenty of apples, not too crowded, so maybe that set our expectations a little too high. We decided to give this a try as well since it was free... nothing to lose apart from the driving time. We were specifically looking for the fuji apples, and this was the first weekend that they were available (fujis were ready the prior weekend but the farm wasn't open to apple picking that time). There was a fairly long line of cars to enter but fortunately it moved relatively quickly. However when we got in and found the trees, it was really tough to find apples on the trees. And the few that did remain were not looking. There were a bunch of apples on the floor however. We ended up leaving empty handed. Regarding COVID guidelines, masks are only required at the entrance. Most people were wearing masks, but not all. The farm is fairly big though so in the apple tree section we were able to distance fairly easily. Cash only read more

The orchard is very nice, lots of variety of apples. Everything is clearly marked and what I love is that they don't charge you admission during the week. Had a fun time apple picking today. Great place to get quality apples. Call the orchard prior to going and they will let you know if they are open and the kind of apples they are offering that day. When you enter grab a wheelbarrow, look at the board to see what apples are available for picking, grab the apple information sheet that tells you about all the apples and what they are best used for and lastly a bag to put your apples in. All the rows have markers for the apples you can pick. Go deep in the row to get the best apples. Today I paid $1.79lb. If you can't find the brand you like take a ride over to Delicious Orchards as they have every variety imaginable. I did because my favorite is Honey Crisps and they weren't available. Unfortunately no dogs allowed in the orchard so if you are traveling with a fur baby you can't bring them in. read more

First apple picking so I wasn't sure what to expect. They had lots of pumpkins laid out near the entrance (of course we had to get our photo ops lol). There were rows of apple trees and we tried going to the farthest ones to avoid people. Most customers are wearing masks with a few exceptions of people not knowing how to properly wear it.. they also had some sunflowers to the left side of the pumpkin field which would've been nice to get access to but it was closed and I'm not entirely sure if it's even open to the public on some days. They also have a few food trucks just outside the entrance and there's plenty of space to park. Overall, still a good place as they don't charge for entrance- your apples get weighed at the end and it's about $1.99 per pound I believe. read more

I came here since my friend had been coming here for years. I only been apple picking twice so I'm no expert but I really liked this place and it was a very simple process. First this place its huge and they have 20 different type of apples which its great. You can walk for hours just enjoying the scenery and of course looking for the best apples. They also have pumpkins and other crops you can pick. Since we are in brussel sprout season that's what they had. One thing I really liked about this place was that you don't pay for the bag but instead you pay for how many apples you pick. At the end they have scales and depending on the weight of your bag that what you paid. We got about 12-15 apples and it came out to $10. I prefer this instead of paying a set amount since I don't need 40 apples. read more

I was surprised when I was told there would be a $2 entrance fee per person. If they are going to charge a fee it should be per car. Five people in a car adds up to an excessive $10 fee. I have been coming here for years and was never charged an entrance fee before. Their fruit is always good and their prices are fair. Place was ok. We were in the area and decided to stop here. Not what I think of when I think pumpkin patch. Most pumpkins had their stems broken off. Eastmont is our go-to fall fun day activity. They have rows of apple trees that they somewhat regulate so they're not all picked through after the first few weeks. My mother in law asked if they were organic and I believe they aren't technically because it's difficult to get the certification. They also have Brussels sprouts and squash but those are picked through pretty early. They cart in pumpkins for you to "pick" from a field. It gets pretty crowded by midday on weekends so you def wanna get there early (they open at 9). If you're looking for perfect pics the lighting is terrible then but you'll have better luck on a cloudy day. Enjoy! read more

Great place if you just want to go pumpkin picking and getting the seasonal pumpkin pic! There's no entrance fee and everyone was required to have masks. Found parking easily. There were a good amount of small and big pumpkins scattered everywhere. I'm taking one star off because they didn't let us pick any apple as they had no apple picking signs everywhere which we really wanted to do also but then we just went to "Delicious Orchards" store nearby where the apples come directly from Eastmont Orchards anyway so we bagged a few-they tasted great! Just couldn't pick them directly from the tree. There's no hayrides or corn maze so if you're looking for more activities like that especially for little kids try another farm. Quick tips that I feel were not addressed on website: - No entry fee - Pick your own apples and pay per pound - They have pumpkins in a field, but it's not a pumpkin patch, just pumpkins in a field, of all sizes and shapes. Good crop this year. -Gourds of all shapes and colors priced per pound. I've been to a couple of farms closer to NYC which felt like a lot more hassle to me: lines to park your car, lines to get in, and admission prices in addition to paying for apples. This place was no hassle and lines were minimal although it was packed. I think because space is so huge, there is room for everyone. It was a very enjoyable day. The was the best day of pumkin/apple/peach picking EVERRR!  this place is gorgeous and so opened out. I visited here last year and it was filled with so many great memories. I had never been apple picking before and luckily my family were feeling up to having a day out.  There are Beautiful rows and rows of the prettiest sunflowers. I tried to take a few shots but the bees stopped me. While filling our bags up with DELICIOUS apples  we bumped into a random chicken just hanging out. The peaches were almost done that time of year but we still got a great amount to take home. Prices are decent. I love that, some of my best memories are of picking blueberries, peaches, strawberries and apples with our kids as they were growing up. I had been feeling kinda nostalgic about the kids this past October, the grow so fast, times change, ya know.. So Hubby and Mini-Me found Eastmont Orchards on Yelp and together they took me out for the day.... I don't think I have ever seen so many pumpkins. It was the just a few days before Halloween and it was packed. I got kinda excited, I know as an adult you should be mature, remain calm but this is pure happiness, fresh air, people laughing and taking photos of their kids trying to find the perfect pumpkin, little kids running around squealing with delight when they find the perfect one, everyone is just having so much fun and relaxed, it just brings the kid out in you. Of course, the rule in our family is, if you can carry it, you can have it-- A HAH! Mini-Me gets a cart. LOL game on now!!!! When we moved to Jersey called "The Garden State" they were not kidding when they gave this title to NJ- farms everywhere with fruit, flowers and vegetables and with farms like this that you can pick your own, make some memories with your kids or just take a day with fresh air and pick some fruits and vegetables. My family has been coming here to pick apples for over 30 years. Our experience yesterday was probably the last time. To put it mildly, there were no apples! There were sections of trees roped off where you could not pick. I understand, just a few days before the traditionally big Columbus Day weekend, wanting to reserve your product. But those of us who came on Thursday got to scavenge at the top of the trees for only one variety - Stayman Winesap. The only way to get them was to lift the little ones up into the trees! There was another section open, up near the very busy road, but after trudging through the first area, we didn't want to set up the children for more disappointment. So we paid for the small bag we managed to pick and went to Delicious Orchards for more. And discovered the apples there, plentiful in variety and quantity, are $.70 a pound cheaper!!!!! So, we are done with Eastmont. Plenty of other orchards around. read more

First off I came here to enjoy the day. This place is being run by a bunch of kids and there overseers just don't know what they are doing. They have all these limitations witch I understand. But the bathrooms in this place haven't been changed since COVID started. The Farms a Wreak. If your in the area you might as well go somewhere else.
