Up until I moved here, I had been grooming him myself, but now that I am pregnant, I thought it best to find a professional for Indigo's very first session ever with a groomer. I must've gotten Angeleka's number from a fellow dog parent at Brewster Dog park, and as soon as I reached out, she got right back to me. I had also reached out to other groomers that were highly recommended, but sadly, all of them were not taking new clients and were already fully booked for the summer. From the get-go and my initial outreach, I was pleasantly surprised at how accessible, flexible, professional and transparent Angeleka was when it came to scheduling and pricing. I had to provide my dog's vaccination record and was provided with an information brochure and signed a waiver. I appreciate how above the board everything was in setting up the appointment. Being that this would be his first professional grooming, Indigo was a bit nervous and anxious on his first visit. I must say how lovely and kind Angeleka (aka Angie) was, kneeling down to the ground, introducing herself to my dog very slowly and gradually, petting and stroking him and offering him treats. I loved that she took her time in allowing him to calm down and get to know her, and her getting to know us, instead of simply whisking him away to get the job done. I can tell that for this groomer, it's not simply a business or a livelihood, but it's more of a passion, as her love for our pets very much is translated in the way she treats them throughout the whole experience. And she does all of this at a very affordable, competitive price, which is so valuable these days! I can't thank Angeleka (Angie) enough, because when I got my pup back, I hardly recognized him! He looked so sleek and beautiful, like a show dog, and he smelled DIVINE!!! My husband even commented that Indigo's hair products smell better than mine! She got all the residual mats out of his shaggy coat and gave him such a nice summer puppy cut. I can say that after the appointment, Indigo had a lot more pep in his step and a lot more energy and overall, was so much happier! If our pups are happy and healthy, and well cared for, we'll be happier humans. I appreciate Angeleka so much for her time and beautiful groom of my dog, Indigo! We have a number of small Maltese , one of which is almost seventeen and blind. She is only three pounds and they are wonderful and gentle with her. My mother goes to Florida in the winter and I care for her fur baby. I recently took a new job that has me busy and tired. I could not keep up with the constant brushing that my mother is able to do at home all day long. She had matts that I could not get out. Pawsh came to the rescue and Jesse did an amazing job. This dog has never been professionally groomed before. His calm demeanor and instant connection with her was undeniable. She laid down at his feet while we were outside talking. She is a stand off-ish breed, the name means farm watcher. She has to go to you. She is offensive, not defensive. I can not say enough good things about Jesse and the job he did. The service was inattentive and I was pretty much ignored while one of the clerks was assisting another customer. Ernie did not like either of the treats offered. I brought my dog in to be groomed after about two and a half months of covid-19 lockdown. PetSmart is pretty much filled with appointments until July understandably, about 2 weeks out. Devon was so bright and effervescent on the phone. She was able to accommodate the grooming same day, I believe due to a cancellation or no-show. Either way, she was tremendously helpful and kind. Every other grooming service in the cape was either not answering or was not taking on new customers. Then on to the performance. She walked me through lengths of cut, facial shapes and additional services like nail trimming and ancillaries. I deferred to her insight as I would probably screw it up if I tried to give her instruction. I gave her a vague description of what I'd like, and she NAILED IT. She must have washed him in some sort elixir of rose petals. He's never smelled so good! She was so sweet with Louie and I could tell there is definitely a love for animals on a personal level for her. She was quite funny and sharp witted as well. Just was simply amazing person to deal with from start to finish. It is quite seldom I meet someone as kind as they are competent. She had knowledge, passion, skill and insight all in equal parts. Devon's boss; give her a raise. Devon; take that raise and open your own shop. You'd monopolize the Cape grooming market.

We reserved a "special" extra large premium area so they could be together along with their own bedding and toys. We got home a day early and stopped in to pick them up. They told us to wait out front while they got them but I followed them in anxious to see my "babies" They were in small individual cages well apart from each other, wet, and no bedding or toys. To top it all off, these people had the audacity to try and charge us full price saying that they had only been moved temporarily while their original place was being cleaned. Problem was, I passed by their enclosure I had rented and reserved and there were other dogs in there. Next trip we brought our dogs to Cape Veterinary in Yarmouth. Apparently, after being a customer for 8 years, no one cared to talk to me about the service very poorly rendered to our dog today. I asked for my dogs records so I could get established with a new vet. I was told they would happily do that for me by tomorrow morning. So the good news for them is that they are apparently so fat and happy with business that they did not care one iota about our departure. Now if we had been difficult clients I would understand the good riddance attitude but we've never complained about anything until today.
