So I decided to give this place a try (for the second time) due to the reviews.. I thought that maybe it was just a bad shift and that's why the service wasn't good. Before the new owners took over, this was our go to place for Pho. We have given it a few tries since the new ownership/renovations, we weren't happy to see the complimentary green tea was no longer being served by the new owners, nor do they still offer the awesome desserts the previous owners did. But, we continued to come because the pho was still good. The service has been awful each time we've come since the new owners took over, but last weekend was the final straw and we won't be back. The last time we came here, we encountered a horrible new waitress. We didn't go back for about two months, we thought she might be gone by then because she was so bad, but when we came in last Saturday, she was still here and she now has a partner in crime. The waitresses here look like they are the models for "The Faces of Meth." The blonde was most definitely high on something the last time we came and she knocked over our waters, TWICE, and laughed about it, one went all over me. And, I would totally bet money she was high this time too and now she has an accomplice, who has no eyebrows and is equally as unpleasant. The blonde waitress spilled our waters AGAIN this time and seemed totally out of it, she laughed about it and then came back with a mop and said... "Oh yea this is bad." And then just moved the mop around on the floor, but not actually over the giant puddle of water and then vanished. It was so awkward. She kept walking around the restaurant sniffling and rubbing her nose repeatedly. She honestly looked like a cracked out drug addict. She brought our pork rolls and legit flung the plate onto the table and it went sliding, and she says... "Egg rolls!!" really loud. They weren't egg rolls. This isn't even a Chinese restaurant. The waitress with no eyebrows and dark hair was really nasty toward the other customers around us. She pronounced something weird and a gentleman asked her if she had the correct thing written down, so he said it again and she says.. "Uh, yeh. That's exactly what I just said," Like a child talking back to a parent. The waitresses are complete drug addicts and some Asian guy was sitting down with them joking and laughing at a table by the register, when they weren't running around like crack heads. A craving for pho -- but on a day so hot that soup would be silly -- yielded a happy solution: A cooling, comforting rice vermicelli bowl. Yelping local Vietnamese eateries, I sallied forth to Atlantic Pho for a late-lunch chowdown. Parking and then seating were easy at 2:45 with only 1/4 of the tables occupied. First came the spring rolls, which were, as at least one reviewer noted, somewhat lacking in greens. Though tasty, with a surprise thin meat slice taking the real estate IMO better served by greens. What *was* a treat was the vermicelli rice bowl. Ample toppings including shrimp, beef, egg, not-mildly curried chicken and garnishes were filling, comforting and *almost* what I was looking forward to. Why 'almost'? The rice noodles were warm vs. cold or room-temperature, something I'd never experienced before -- and thus took away from that hot-day refreshment I was looking for. Still, tasty and worth ordering again. While food was fine to good, the service was a bit tricky. Perhaps due to the newness of the two young ladies who seemed lacking in understanding the cuisine or some basic customer service skills. Ex: I described the rice vermicelli bowl to my waitress and she said "can you point it out to me on the menu?" Later, before the bowl's arrival, I was brought a plate of fresh basil and other garnishes meant for pho, which I pointed out and that the fish vinegar sauce is the proper accompaniment for a rice noodle bowl. At pay time, some more confusion with the other waitress, who blurted out "you're making me lose count" and "it's my first day" getting change back. Being new is very understandable, but may I suggest a more friendly tone and familiarity with the menu while settling in to the job. I'll return to try the pho, and definitely the rice bowl if I can get the noodles properly chilled. So rounding up to four stars. read more

Came here for the first time a few weeks ago. Me and my bf wanted to explore more Pho places around the area. I was excited when I saw that they have Bahn Mi in their menu which not a lot of Pho places that I go to usually carry. I had to order a Pork combo bahn mi and a Bun bo hue which is a Spicy Beef noodle soup which was very flavorful! And my bf got his Seafood pho which was also great. I would love to give this place more stars, but they made a HUGE mistake that could have been harmful. There is no decor here, but the food speaks for itself. The portion sizes are HUGE! We ordered two bowls of the pork, chicken, and shrimp pho. Each could have fed 2 people easily. We also ordered a white chicken and onion pho. This one came is two sizes. I opted for the small which was still big. The other items were a lemongrass chicken bowl with noodles and veggies. I ordered veggies fried rice with tofu. If you are a vegetarian, be cautious ordered pho since it is usually made with beef broth. I'm not sure I trust anyplace that says they use veggie broth in the vegetarian pho. They have lots of hot sauce options on the table and they bring out a large plate of bean sprouts, fresh basil, fresh jalapeños, and fresh lime wedges. The food all tasted great! The big NO NO! We ordered the lemongrass chicken with NO crushed nuts on it. The server wrote it down, but she wasn't the one who delivered the food to our table. The entree came out with NUTS on it. We told her no nuts so she took the bowl away to make a new one. Or so we thought. NOPE! She just scraped the nuts off and we still found some in the bowl. We let the server know once she came back to check on us and she was apologetic, but that would have fixed the issue had we been allergic to nuts. First time visiting this place and the Pho was very tasty and comes served with fresh culantro, Thai basil, sliced jalapeño, lime and bean sprouts! They have a good selection of sauces on the table which I appreciated (fish sauce, soy, chili oil, chili sauce, hoisin, sriracha). I also enjoyed the egg rolls and some Thai iced boba tea. My only gripe would be that I wish the pho broth was more robust, it was very tasty and flavorful but was lacking some of the deep robust flavor I love so much. The Thai tea was ok, I do prefer it more creamy and traditionally prepared, I find that I am hard to please when it comes to my Thai iced teas! For any other Thai tea snobs that love theirs extra creamy and sweet, I would recommend having some at Moon Thai in Coral Springs (so heavenly)! I will definitely be back to try some other entrees and will continue to enjoy the pho Update: I'm loving the combination rice and egg noodle soup lately! I have heard people talk about how good Pho is but I just didn't know enough about it to venture out and try. That is until last night. My husband had a cold and wasn't feeling to eat anything. After describing what he felt for, I started browsing on yelp for something that in his words was, fresh, hot and in a huge bowl of hot broth...(we pretty much found exactly what we were looking for at Atlantic Pho.) We arrived around 8 on a Saturday night. They were pretty busy but we got seated right away. We ordered Spring rolls to get started that came with some peanut sauce. (At first we weren't sure if we were supposed to dip it in there since the sauce came to the table first) but eventually we just tried it and it was goood! I ordered the vermicelli combination that came with chicken, pork, egg rolls and salad. Everything tasted amazing! I loved the salad because it was mostly made up with cucumbers which I love love love. However my husband bowl was so HUGE I was just staring at it the first couple seconds when it arrived at our table. lol The broth was so damn good and normally he adds so much pepper and sauce in his food but he insisted that this didn't need anything more. I struggled a bit with my noodles only because its bare noodles with meat on top that isn't saucy and I wasn't sure if I was suppose to add anything to mine. So I just ate my salad and the meat with a bit of noodles in between. (After finding out from a friend she told me all those sauce on the table are meant to add to the noodles lol) However it was still good. I enjoyed my meal. Prices are really good and the portions are big. Our bill was around 30$. Our waiter was really nice but I do wish he could've given us some pointers. My favorite pho spot has recently switched ownership, and I'm just not as in love with it as I used to be, so I have branched out. Atlantic Pho is close to my house, and I have passed it many times, I just didn't have much interest in trying it as I already had a favorite, but things have changed. We went in on a week night and found quite a few tables eating (for a Tuesday anyway) so I took that as a good sign. It was also obvious by the customer/staff interactions than many people were regulars, another good sign. When we were seated we were immediately served complimentary iced green tea, a nice touch. Upon looking at the menu I was happy to see that they offered a seafood soup, as I prefer that to the more traditional beef or meatball (or tendon..eeek) ones. Since I was trying to get a full taste of the food here we also ordered the summer roll appetizer. My brother ordered his typical pho with rare beef and other things I am not adventurous enough to eat. The summer rolls came out quickly and I was impressed with the portion size. The peanut dipping sauce was delicious, though I did find the summer rolls to have a little too much basil for me, just a little overwhelming, but I probably would order them again. The soups came out quickly and I was impressed with my seafood choice. The broth had a nice seafood flavor, and obviously wasn't just the same broth they use for everything (I know some places do that). I was also delighted to find that the dish included two types of noodles. The rice noodles I am used to and also some ramen type noodles. This is probably not authentic Vietnamese style, but who am I to say, and I really enjoyed it. I took a bite of my brother's pho and the broth had a good meat flavor to it, it's just not something I care for all that much, which is why I stick to the seafood options, but he really enjoyed it. I will be back to Atlantic Pho. I'm not sure I liked it as much as I used to like my other place, but it is better than my old favorite has become, and with the proximity to my house it will be an easy choice. Pros: staff are very friendly, enough seats, menus are in detail, fast service, if you're ordering soup, your soup will definitely be hot, chill environment, they have a TV that is hooked up to a laptop and they play either karaoke or some kind of TV show, price is affordable but I did see some slight increase (about $1-2), great selection of soups and entrees with noodles Cons: not enough parking lots, store is called PHO, not Atlantic pho so if you get lost, it's called PHO, their staff knows very little English but that's besides the point, sometimes they give you very little greens as toppings for your soups as if there's some kind of basil drought After 3 years, they have upgraded their menus to a better visual, more detailed, more sleek. I love that throughout these years, I've never had to ask to reheat my food or returns. They also have a lot of spices available on the table from Sriracha, chilli sauce, and other ones you put on your soup. My favorites are their soups. Depends- definitely SOME times, they give more noodles than beef lol. That's what I don't like. Most of the times, they're generous on the meat but I've ordered some before and literally 80% of my meal was noodles. Carbs. For real. Overall, I recommend this place. My search for good pho in south florida continues..... Went here for lunch and was seated immediately. The decor is typical of a vietnamese restaurant. I did notice a little musty smell, kind of like old mop water. Usually when you enter a Pho restaurant, you want the first smell to hit you to be the Pho spice. I ordered a bowl of pho with rare steak and beef ball. It was okay. Broth was 3.5 stars. Rare steak was piled on top, so the broth just lightly cooked it. Didn't have enough pho smell for me. But it was edible. My son ate most of it. $9 for a small portion. I ordered the Crispy Pan fried Noodles with seafood on top. I wasn't too happy with it. The sauce and seafood was WAY too salty. I could barely eat it. The smell was on point, but once you took a bite, you immediately had to drink water. The seafood tasted like it was sitting in an open container in the fridge for a few days. Kind of stale. Veggies were overcooked and mushy. Eehhh. Not worth the $14. The avocado smoothie had the texture of mayonnaise. Kinda gross and warm. I could taste very little avocado in it. Usually an avocado smoothie is creamy, but also holds the consistency of a slushy, with little Itty-bitty particles of ice. Overall it was okay. To begin with, this is definitely a good Pho spot. The menu is simple and easy to read. The restaurant is spacious and clean. When I arrived I saw a table with 6 people enjoying their pho. That was a clear indication of good quality pho. I got the N3 which included Beef and Flank. I love Pho and and I love eating it at Atlantic Pho. This place rocks. I've had Pho at several Vietnamese restaurants and this is definitely one of my favorites. Instead of serving water at the table they serve a sort of watered down green tea that's actually quite yummy. I've tried the Chicken Pho, the spicy beef Pho & the seafood Pho. All are delicious. The broth is perfectly flavored and comes out piping hot each time and the meat is tasty and fresh. The Pho soups are served with an array of toppings and condiments to include bean sprouts, fresh herbs, lime wedges, and sliced jalapeño peppers. They also have their own homemade spicy pepper sauce, soy sauce, and hoisin sauce that can be added to your liking. You can make your Pho as sweet and/or as spicy as you prefer. The spring rolls and egg rolls are delicious as appetizers and are served with a sweet sauce for dipping. The Bahn Mi sandwich (not sure of the spelling) is fantastic. It's thinly sliced pork topped with sweet pickled carrots and cucumbers and fresh cilantro served between crispy bread and it's only about $4! I order it every time I eat here. They have these garlic noodles (can't remember what the dish is called) served with either beef or chicken that are to die for!! They are perfectly flavored with garlic and served with your choice of meat and sautéed onions. It's a huge portion and probably enough for 2 people to share. The coffee drinks and bubble teas are all really yummy as well and are great for finishing off your meal. I will definitely be coming back to Atlantic Pho. read more
