After a not so good experience last year, we went back again today for lunch. Everything was much better overall. We were seated right away. Our order was taken with no problems. We shared a fresh shrimp spring roll to start. It was expertly rolled -- no falling apart this time -- and we liked the peanut sauce that came with it. We each got a banh mi sandwich. I got my usual grilled pork without jalapeños and he tried their cold cuts with pate. The bread for each sandwich was wonderful. And each had a nice amount of cilantro, carrots, etc. We both added hoisin sauce. We thought we'd have half and take half of our sandwich home, but a couple bites in, we both said, nope. No leftovers! So glad this visit was a positive one. Up a star!

They sat us and them, but brought the other group menus and water before us, as well as took their order. This was my first red flag because I had to walk up to them and ask if we were able to get menus. Once we got them, we waited like another 5 minutes to get water and to order. Once we ordered, my boyfriend and I ordered Bun Bo Hue. I have certain dietary restrictions so I told the waiter what I wanted to keep in and out of the soup. While I was asking for this, she kind of was just looking at me crazy but she said she understood. We finally got our soup and I automatically noticed that they did the complete opposite of what I asked (keeping everything I asked to remove and not having what I asked to keep). The soup was also very clear, as if they just added chili paste to Pho broth. I was willing to just eat it because I was hungry but once they came back to bring our other dish, I mentioned my incorrect order. I said I'd keep it, but could they possibly just bring me a side of what I asked for. I hear the lady speaking in Vietnamese, asking if they still had pork blood. The man (I assumed was the cook) replied saying they did have some. She told him that I was supposed to have some in my soup. He then replied, still in Vietnamese, "She should've asked for it, tell her we have no more." She then turned back to me and told me they had none. Immediately, I said that I know that he just told her to tell me they didn't have anymore. She kept trying to say they didn't have anymore. I then said, "I understand Vietnamese and I know that you have some, but it's okay just don't worry about it." At this point, I am upset because the service has been terrible and I felt as if they were testing my intelligence. I am mixed with Black and Vietnamese and you cannot tell that I'm Vietnamese based on my features. I never tell anyone I understand Vietnamese until I need to. Once I said that, she seemed shocked and embarrassed. I continued on eating my soup and 5 minutes later she comes back out with a small side of the pork blood. I laughed and said "I thought you didn't have anymore." All she had to say was "We did, here you go." This ruined my entire experience here and after everything I still tried to just eat my food and keep my composure. Honestly though, the food wasn't even worth the experience we were getting. Not once did anyone apologize to me and I felt like that was very unprofessional. In conclusion, do not visit here if you want GOOD authentic Vietnamese food and good, respectable service.

I have dined at many Vietnamese restaurants throughout South Florida, but this marks the first time I have had such a truly terrible experience. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately met with extremely poor service attitudes from the staff. I ordered a bowl of "spicy beef soup," while my friend ordered *phở*; since we both wanted to have the same type of broth, I mentioned to the owner that my friend would also like that specific broth base. The owner, however, claimed that the standard *phở* broth was essentially the same--just the beef broth with a little spicy shrimp sauce added--which immediately struck me as suspicious. A signature characteristic of this particular spicy broth is the distinct aroma of lemongrass, yet I couldn't detect any scent of it whatsoever. I questioned the owner about this, but she insisted that what I had received was, in fact, the authentic spicy beef soup. Regrettably, she deceived me. Furthermore, when I attempted to return the dish, a kitchen staff member--who appeared to be the owner's husband--reacted with an aggressive and intimidating attitude, using disrespectful language. To make matters worse, I subsequently discovered a shard of glass or hard plastic inside my water glass, turning an already terrible experience into an absolute nightmare; throughout this ordeal, the man continued to direct rude and uneducated remarks at a paying customer. I strongly advise everyone to seek out a different, superior Vietnamese restaurant to avoid enduring the kind of dreadful experience I had. Not a single word of apology and a defiant tone.
walking into this vietnamese restaurant you're greeted with vibrant decor honoring the upcoming lunar new year, simple wooden furniture and walls decorated with bamboo accents. we were welcomed and sat immediately. service was really fast and we didn't wait very long for our food to come out. we tried a few items off the menu which included: A1. Châ Gió - egg rolls A2. Gói Cuōn - spring rolls P2. Phô Tái - rare steak pho grilled pork bānh mí. everything was really yummy, but the phô itself was the centerpiece of the dining experience. served in a very large, steaming bowl, the broth is rich and deeply aromatic, a sign of hours of careful preparation. the noodles are perfectly cooked, soft but not mushy, and paired with tender slices of beef. it comes with a side of fresh garnishes such as crisp bean sprouts, vibrant Thai basil, lime wedges, and thinly sliced jalapeños. would definitely return to try other items off the menu!

Pho Gia Vi -- very authentic spot and definitely worth a visit if you're craving good pho. We tried the steak pho and the vegetarian pho, and both were excellent. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the meat in the steak pho was delicious with options for rare or well done, which was nice. They give you plenty of additions on the side too -- bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, and lime -- so you can customize it how you like. Portions are very generous. Even the small was pretty big and more than enough for one person. They also have an extensive menu beyond pho, plus a good selection of bubble teas and drinks, so there are a lot of options depending on what you're in the mood for. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and this feels like one of those places that focuses on doing pho right rather than trying to be trendy. Would definitely come back. read more
Very small place, and popular with the locals. I don't know anything about this kind of food so not sure if it's authentic. Came here for the pho tai, which I have been eating my whole life. I see many claims here that this is the best pho ever, and maybe that's true for So FL. The broth was a little saltier and way darker than it traditionally should be. I think they enhance it by adding beef broth or some other flavoring, but that is not traditional. The portions are very generous, which made me feel a little better because the price is higher, the most I have ever paid for pho. we went there an hour and a half before closing and i can't wait to go back!! truly a whole in the wall bc the portions were amazing!! everything was delicious. the server was so sweet and patience ! we had the bahn mi (grilled chicken), the beef stir fry, and the pho- rare steak. i was blown away by the flavors!! definitely left full and satisfied haha. we ordered the salty & fresh lemonade (as a salty lover i enjoyed it but the fresh lemonade is made with limes which is my all time favorite !!! everything was great !! everything felt authentic from the food to the ambiance ! read more

This place rates a solid 4.5 stars. Ample parking in the lot located just off 441. We were immediately greeted and offered a table upon entry. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you could see the place is frequented by regulars. Cups of refreshing ice water were delivered without needing to be requested and were refilled often. We quickly placed our orders, and our chicken pho was delivered in under 10 minutes. The broth smelled AMAZING and tasted just as good. The soup additions were generous, but the friendly wait staff offered us more when she noticed our empty plate. My son and I definitely enjoyed this meal - and we left stuffed! read more

We ordered pick up from here during our stay in Fort Lauderdale. They are located near our Air BNB and the order was prepared very quickly. We ordered at 840P and were able to pick up within 20 minutes. Everything was packed well and with care. They separated the broths from the soup ingredients to maintain their integrity, which was much-needed. Grub Rundown: Pho Ga - we ordered this for our Little. It's white meat chicken pho. She loves pho and she usually gets whatever chicken pho a restaurant serves. It would have been nice if the chicken had special seasoning like with lemongrass, but I digress. She enjoyed every bite and every last bit. There were pieces of broccoli and they also sent a satchel of Thai basil, recao, bean sprouts, hoisin and sriracha. Pho Tai Chin - I ordered this for myself. Pho with steak and brisket. The steak arrived super rare and the broth was still very hot. I nuked it a little bit to make sure the meat cooked thoroughly. I always do this when I order pho with raw meat for delivery. Had I eaten in person, I would have enjoyed as is. The flavor of the broth was great. My order was also packed separately with a satchel of accouterments. Dac Biet - hubby opted for this combination bahn mi. It came wrapped up, a baguette loaded with jalapeño slices, cilantro pickled veg and a bunch of different proteins. Hubby loved the flair and ate every morsel. Vietnamese Coffee - I requested they prepare it cold because the online menu did not indicate the tempurature. They sent it cold and sweet, although there was far more ice in the cup than I would have liked but it tastes good. The pho were nice sizes. They were large enough to have leftovers. This was a nice low key dinner to have on our first night. I would order from them again. I really appreciate not having to wait too long for the food to be ready. read more

After seeing our Pho place closed we thought we would try this place. It's very casual and they have one table to eat outside. Which I don't advise. The staff was friendly. We ordered the veggie spring rolls with a peanut sauce. Very good I had the vegetarian pho. It lacked flavor my husband had a rice shrimp beef dish. He liked it. Didn't love it. Plenty of parking. Stumbled across this restaurant after wanting to try a few local Vietnamese restaurants. It was in a small plaza but I must say this is now my new favorite place to get Pho. Staff is super friendly and the wait after ordering my Pho Tai Chin Nam was about 5 minutes to get my Pho. Broth is very flavorful on its own the meat was perfect the onions were soft and perfect not too chewy. I ordered the normal size which was huge but I was not complaining lol. Overall will be back as much as possible since the food and atmosphere was great! read more

I ordered food from DoorDash from this restaurant. I saw reviews on yelp and on DoorDash which showed good comments so I decided to give it a try. I got the chicken pho which was so freaking goodt! lol the broth was still nice and hot it was just so flavorful and delicious wow. I also had the Thai salad which is my fave made of green papaya with this sweet sauce and shrimp. I called the restaurant to add hot spicy sauce to my DoorDash order and they definitely made it happen for me, service was great. read more

This was a surprise birthday dinner for my partner. We hadn't even heard of it until recently and the reviews. I'm not familiar with pho so I really had no clue what to expect. I was NOT disappointed!!! Now this is by far is not a fine dining restaurant, more of a hole in the wall ( no offense should be taken by this). It's small, just a few tables but the service was good and they are friendly. I ordered the spicy chicken which remember I wasn't sure what to expect for pho and I'm not huge on noodles ( I know who doesn't like noodles... me weird..ok I'll own that. LOL) and my partner had the pork bowl. I've included the pictures below. It was amazing. Both dishes bursting with flavor. My suggestion to those who've never been here is to ignore the bad reviews (far and few) and try this place for yourself. It's delicious!! Prices are more than fair and as you can see portions plenty! Support local, they appreciate it! read more

One of my favorite new spots to go to. This was one of my dad favorite pho restaurants. However, lately. whenever we try to come here it has always been closed, so we never got the chance to try it. But I'm glad we finally got the chance. We got the spring rolls, very filling they provide a lot of peanut sauce. Super good. My sister and I both order pho Dac biet, I usually order chicken wherever I go but I decide to switch it up a bit and it did not disappoint. The flavors was delicious very close to home. The broth was rich, and there was plenty noodles and meat. It was so good. We ordered the rice platter to go, com dac biet, but I guess they didn't have it because in our Togo it was only pork. It was still good, but I was a little disappointed it wasn't the full meal. Overall, it was a good price for everything it was less than $50 plus tip. I definitely recommend coming here if you are ever craving pho. read more
