Came here on a Saturday afternoon, was craving some noodle soup. My sister recommended us to check this place out. The location is nice and very clean and spacious. The service was fast and the server was very attentive. We ordered spring rolls to start with and I would give it a 9/10, portion is on the smaller side but the flavor was there and the dipping sauce was very good! I ordered take-out from Pho Steak Bowl and was very pleasantly surprised. I had the rare steak and beef brisket pho, which was so flavorful and well-sized (I was not able to finish it in a sitting). There was a decent amount of meat provided in the portion and I found the price to be very reasonable (about $16 per bowl). They provide you with everything needed for a delicious bowl of pho at home, including bean sprouts, limes, basil, jalapeños, hoisin sauce, and package it very well for easy transfer! Additionally, I tried the crab rangoons and the shrimp and pork spring rolls. Both were very tasty, with the spring rolls standing out to me more. My husband and I decided to try something outside of our "comfort zone" and went to Pho Steak Bowl. I tried the Pho Brisket and my husband tried the Pho Rare Steak. We both had the Butter Garlic Chicken wings. We should have eaten at the restaurant, as when we got home we had to assemble our dinner. We didn't have instructions before we left the restaurant, and, our fault, we didn't ask. But we tried to figure it out: the broth into the bowl and let it sit for a minute. I like the light noodles at the bottom of the bowl and the brisket was very tender. My husband said the rare steak was probably too rare for him but it disappeared out of his bowl just the same. He loved the bean spouts completely. And both of us adored the Butter Garlic chicken wings and will go back for that. Once again thanks to my trusted Yelp App we stumbled across PSB which is located in a small strip shopping center in a residential neighborhood, we would have never come across this place otherwise. Entering we noticed the place was neat clean, and the staff was friendly and greeted us and seated us immediately . For the appetizer we tried the fried calamari, which was tasty . Wow! So happy they opened in my neighborhood. You can find Pho Steak Bowl off of Royal Palm Boulevard at the west end of the Royal Palm Court shopping plaza. This was previously a full service Chinese restaurant before they opened in May. They now focus on Vietnamese Food and select Chinese favorites. I met my girlfriend here on a rainy Saturday night for dinner. I was impressed with how clean and modern the restaurant looked. You choice of seating includes booths and tables. The menu is divided into appetizers, chef specialties, rice entrees, stir fried rice noodles, pan fried crispy egg noodles, beef and chicken noodle soup, vermicelli, and drink and desserts, I started with a refreshing lychee juice. The drink arrived with lychee swimming in the juice, so delicious! We ordered the (4) Vietnamese Fried Egg Rolls for our appetizer. They were great but I could not stop eating the pickled carrots that they were served with. The sweet tang of the carrots was so addicting that they kindly brought us a plate of carrots on the house. For dinner I had the shaken beef served with rice. I loved everything I ate here and it was all presented so beautifully. We had a very good lunch here. The restaurant is located in a seen better days strip of stores on the south side of the street. It's at the western end. There was plenty of parking out front. And they weren't too busy inside as they haven't been open that long. We started by sharing a spring roll. I got it with shrimp only, no pork. It was quite good. Two pieces cut in half were tightly wrapped and did not fall apart. It was freshly made and crisp. The peanut dipping sauce was very, very good. A step above the usual. For an entree, he got his usual -- vermicelli (bun) with grilled pork and mini egg rolls. It had all the salad stuff underneath to enjoy with the flavorable "sauce" poured over it. The pork was nice and crispy. The veggies make it feel like you're eating healthy! I got their egg noodles with pork in a chicken based broth. The service here was extremely slow and they were not apologetic about it. I was a party of 1. When I arrived the restaurant was empty and 2 other people had walked in about 5 min before I did. I ordered the Fried Egg Rolls, and C6. the Shaking Beef (med). It comes with white or fried rice and I opted for the white rice. About 10 min after I arrived 2 other people came in and were seated. I was having a leisurely Sunday enjoying my alone time so at first I didn't notice how much time had passed, but it had been about 20 min and I had not received the egg rolls nor had anyone checked in on me. I did notice the same person who took my order was very attentive to the party who came in after me, maybe they are regulars but at shouldn't matter. Moments later they were delivered their appetizers, which prompted me to ask what is going on with my order and was told it would be right out. 5-10 min later both my appetizer and meal were delivered at the same time. No apology. The Egg rolls were good and were made to order. The rice seemed old and was not seasoned at all. The steak was very tender and cooked to the requested temperature. The wait staff was friendly, but definitely not the most attentive; when I mentioned how tough the chicken was (and it was REALLY chewy) there wasn't any follow through. I ordered my usual chicken ga pho, and my father had the steak and tendon pho. Strangely there don't appear to be sizes, and the bowl is HUGE. The new "Pho Steak Bowl" in Margate is very close to Coral Springs. It advertises itself as Vietnamese-Chinese, but the menu is 90 percent Vietnamese. There is a small Chinese section of the menu (attached photos), and it's American Chinese. The menu is mostly pho and soups, rice noodle salads, wok noodles, bbq over rice dishes, and fried rice. I did not order the pho, but I asked to taste the broth, it's highly clarified, nice but subtle spicing, not over the top with the star anise. Fresh spring rolls (Goi Cuon) are very good but I was even more impressed with the fried ones (Cha Gio) which are very similar to the kind I used to get in New Jersey, they are very full of shrimp and pork meat. Their special mixed fried rice is very good, has a light fish sauce taste, they are using the "crab" brand, will bring you more sauce to the table if you want. The sriracha they serve at the table is a Vietnamese brand I've never had before, it's very good, has a totally different flavor profile than the US Rooster brand, uses bird chiles and has a stronger MSG hit to it. A very welcome neighborhood addition that is family operated, it's formerly a Chinese restaurant (was Asian Grill) and can easily accommodate a medium sized group. Used to love this place but tonight they disappointed me. I ordered a rare pho steak bowl as usual and the waiter accidentally put me in for a pho special. When I got the wrong food, I expressed that and thought they would make me a new bowl. Instead he took my bowl to the back and just picked the meat out that I didn't want. I realized he had done this because some of the meat was left over in my bowl when he returned it to me. At this point I refused the bowl and expected an apology but never got one.
