Worst customer service ever, I will never refer anyone to Atlantic Tire. I had a negative experience with a young employee, while he was busy in the register he ignored me pretending I wasn't there. That was very rude, unacceptable. In addition, it was another mature man with him also with the same attitude no customer service skills, zero empathy, and unhelpful response till I finally got his attention. I really cannot say enough about how wonderful the customer service is from Greg. If you live in NJ, you know how often you'll need tires or plugs from all of the lovely potholes. I'm able to email Atlantic Tire directly with what I need and receive a prompt response back with pricing details. For tires, different brands, mileage, and pricing with available rebate offers were listed out so that I could choose what would fit my needs and budget. For breaks, I was unsure if I needed both front and rear and requested pricing for both. They were able to check and let me know I still was okay on the one but replaced the other. --I feel like any other shop would've just told me I needed both even if I didn't. My tesla tire had nail and I went to few tire repair shops they were too stupid n don't know what to do since tesla tire has foam padding inside . Foam padding is worst invention for tire. One car mechanic suggest me to buy a new tire when the car is brand new. I will not buy new tire every time I have a nail. Walked in with a nail in the tire. They took me in pretty quick. Only thing that I waited a little longer for a tire patch, but I am thankful that he took the time to check and recheck since my son rides in it and I want to make sure he's safe at all times. The guy who worked on my car, I didn't catch his name, sorry, was super nice and inflated all my tires. And even when he and I had a miscommunication about which tire, he gladly did the right one with no sour face included :) You get a couple of smiles here and there, but everyone is pretty busy working on things. I recently got my starter changed, but it never sounded correct after service. On top of it randomly not starting, it also makes a loud skidding sound and violently shakes. ultimately, my car randomly broke down after 6 months. What was supposed to be a fix under warranty ended up costing me $600 for a new battery/alternator. Even though those parts were changed my car still sounded bad and made the skidding sound. I brought it back again to which they said they they cleaned the grounds, but that failed to work. I then brought my car to another mechanic, and he informed me that even after 6 months there's no way that my starter should have that amount of erosion and rust. There's also about 25 etch marks 1/4" apart that clearly indicates that someone banged it with a flathead and hammer. After getting a second opinion, I informed Atlantic that there's no possible way they changed my starter to which I was met with hostility. Although I won't name the mechanic he said "You hide behind a computer like a coward" "How could you leave a bad review for a business...That's the type of person you are" "You take everything out of context like the news" "You act like you know more than I do" "We can't figure out what's wrong with your car! Take it to someone else" Mind you, before all this, I informed the head mechanic that I would be leaving a bad review if my car wasn't working properly. I don't leave bad reviews....In fact this is the only place I've left a review for in my life. This place is a scam and shows no type of emotional intelligence towards its customers. read more

The last two times I brought my car here they called my house number when I was at work & specifically asked them to call my cell as I'd be at work. Fast forward to dropping my car off on a Friday at 9am & asking the receptionist to call my cell due to this. Called back at noon and it was on the lift... Explained to please again call my cell. Called back at 2pm and the mechanic left me 3 voicemails I never got because he didn't call my cell. They never ordered the parts on time so I was without my car for a full weekend. Monday went in to explain all this & never wanted to return again. Started driving my sick son to the doctor and the same lights, brake and battery came on. I spent $450 on a battery brakes, roders, labor etc. Called today to explain the lights back on & the receptionist passed me back to the mechanic who then passed my call to another man ! No one wants to deal with their issue of not fixing my car after it was there for four full days! Never again will I take any of our 3 cars to Atlantic Tire!!! read more

The family is great, and they really do know their stuff. What do you need? Winter tires? Summer tires? All Season? Whether price or performance is more important to you, they'll give you plenty of options. They'll find you a good deal if you're open to suggestions or get you exactly what you want. If you're scoping, they're helpful keeping an eye out too. There may have been 5 or 6 different cars I've brought through here, and all with different driving styles. I can go in and say I want a set of Blizzaks for a BMW 335 xi. Their question: do you really need that? (Insert suggestion here) would work just as well for how the car is driven and are cheaper. Boom. Done. Coming in with a flat or with a previous appointment, they're quick and careful. I'm usually talking to them longer than it'll actually take to do any work. It was a Saturday morning and I needed just one tire for my '03 Altima, wanted it fast and - here comes the hard part - used. I called around to several tire dealers. Two told me they could help out. Nothing against the other place, but Ed of Atlantic Tire had an exact match and demonstrated a sense of humor as we spoke so I went with them. I hustled down to Atlantic Tire and in about an hour my donut spare was back in my trunk as I drove out on four regular wheels. Atlantic seems to be family run, which may explain why they gave me the impression of not just being a business that's only about the numbers. The weather was hot that July morning and the waiting area offered only a fan instead of air conditioning. Okay, I was in there only an hour but I felt bad for the nice gal who manages the traffic there all day - on her feet, no less - and anyone who gets hit harder by heat, especially if they have to wait longer. The price I paid Atlantic for my used tire compared well to the quote from the other dealer. And as I don't know if that other tire was an exact match and what kind of tread it had, for all I know I did even better with Atlantic than I thought. Next time I need tires, I will see what Atlantic Tire is offering. read more

Needing to replace a bald pair of Bridgestone Turanzas, I asked Atlantic Tire if they could sell me one used tire and install a spare Firestone I had. I worried such a small order would be of no interest but they said, "Yes." The pleasant fellow with whom I spoke on the phone checked inventory and invited me to drop by, as he had what I needed for my car in stock. The gal at the desk could have been friendlier but, who knows, we all have those days. Anyway, in about an hour my car was ready. Inspecting the work, I noticed . . . a pair of Bridgestone Turanzas? Where was the Firestone I left in the car for them to install? Had the staff made a mistake? Checking more closely, I realized these two Bridgestones were not the baldies I asked them to replace. Someone should have explained it to me but I figured out that Atlantic swapped the Firestone for one used Bridgestone and sold me the second used Bridgestone. The receipt did not name the tire brand, designating it merely as "used." Despite those communication shortcomings, Atlantic Tire satisfied me. read more

Today I went to Atlantic Tire to replace a tire that was leaking. Atlantic came highly recommended from the mechanics that service our SUV. I'm glad I took their advice. There's not much to say. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the tires are excellent quality and the prices are much lower than I expected. That doesn't happen very often, at least not to me. I can wholeheartedly recommend that you trust Atlantic Tire for all of your tire needs. Their service is fast, friendly and affordable. What else do you need? I can't think of anything so I'll surely be back. In the interest of fair balance, I have to say that the parking situation leaves a few spaces to be desired. It's a little bit of a pain in the neck because the pre-service parking is on the side of the building and when it's time for your car to go into the garage you have to make a left onto St George Avenue (no light) and then make another immediate left into the driveway of the garage. It's not a deal-breaker by any means, but it was a pain in the neck. If you need one tire or four, used tires or new, Visit Atlantic Tire. Yesterday, they replaced a tire for me - they gave me a great deal on a like new, used tire - installed it & had me in & out, within 20 minutes. Price is my #1 and I'll tolerate a lot, to achieve the savings but these folks provided it all - they were polite, quick, honest, professional and inexpensive!!! This shop is across the street from my house so I thought it would be convenient, but I'm never going back to this place again. My fiancé had a bubble on her tire so I called to see if they had this specific tire size & brand. I waited on hold for 14 minutes because they were "checking" just for them to hang up on me. I literally heard the person take me off hold & slam the phone to hang up on me. Next day my fiancé's tire had a flat so we had no choice but to go to Atlantic Tire. She was there for an hour just for the lady to tell her they have to order the tire & it'll be here tomorrow. She comes back tomorrow and it took them over 90 minutes to change ONE tire..... ONE TIRE. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude the whole time. It's like we were bothering her for asking her to do her job. We wanted to see the tire before they put it on to make sure it was the right one & no one would let us go look. Car is finally done & what do you know, they put the wrong type of tire on the car. We specifically asked for a Pirelli tire & they put some random brand tire on there. The tire fits & the wheel has been okay, but they did such a horrible job. There was glue ALL OVER the rim & tires, would it have killed you to wipe it off? It's like they just slapped the tire on there & pushed the car out. We will never be going back to this place, you should really go to any other shop in the area. I would rather push my car a mile down St Georges to go somewhere else then come here again. Great place to have your vehicle serviced. They are honest people, not looking to "get you" like so many shops out there. Very reasonably priced among reputable competitors. Responses to inquiries are almost immediate. I've worked with lawyers who take longer to answer questions. Eddie is the point of contact through email and Lisa answers the phone. I would describe the communication as no nonsense, no BS, and to-the-point. Service speed is good. It took about an hour to replace two of my blown tires (due to the legendary NJ potholes). They honored the road hazard program without requiring me to produce the receipts. As a result, I ended up paying only installation for the tires. They don't have grandiose waiting areas like BMW repair shops do. They don't have loaner cars for you to drive when your car is in service. They don't even have free snacks laying around. If you are looking to be treated like royalty and are OK with subsidizing such treatment, look elsewhere. But if you are looking to get your car serviced/tires replaced efficiently at a reasonable price, look no further. read more

I own 2005 Ford Five Hundred SEL which is one of the heaviest in its categories.Was running on old tires.Was thinking to get tires from Wallmart or Costco etc , but didnt hear anything great about mechanics at those stores.So I discussed with Eddie & his team about my best options and he suggested me one of them & I moved ahead with that .....
