We were in and out within 30-40 minutes (full oil change + maintenance check including filter + lights change), and well didn't even need to step out of the car! Sure it was a bit pricey after all the add ons (new lights/filter). However,there was a promo code I was able to apply for a slight savings AND well considering the state of panic I was in at the time, it was worth it. Glad I stopped in and I'll probably be back in the future (hopefully NOT at another 5% oil level)!

On a 12 hour road trip to South Carolina, the two guys at this location stayed after hours to fix my car and make sure I didn't get on the road until everything was absolutely safe. I did look for the possible cause of the shaking and it could be due to a foam separation in one of the tires. This past weekend while driving home in a torrential downpour, I heard a constant thumping noise. I turned on the screen to check my tire pressures and sure enough, one of my tires was lower than all the rest. What freaked me out was how rapid the tire was losing pressure at an alarming rate. With a quick online search I found Mavis one mile away. Honestly, at this point I felt like I had no choice but to paid for whatever he was going to quote me. But I was actually okay with the price because I remember what I had paid for in the past at one of my local tire shops. The shop was kinda busy and I really appreciate that the whole process took less than half an hour. When they took off the tire, he had me come take a look at what caused the flat. The foam separation had become detached from the tire. Very dangerous since this can cause a blowout or I could have spin out of control on the roadway. I'm always fascinated learning about these things so now I know.

I was told my car's rear rotors needed to be changed at the dealer but was quoted what I felt was a…read moreridiculous amount of money to fix. I decided to shop around for options. I started at Ray & Dana's Inman Auto Care. He offered a free estimate. He sent a very comprehensive list of things that needed to be done on my car. I was very impressed with the meticulous detail and the photographs to show why I they were suggesting the fix. This report made me feel that this was an honest shop. And made me feel confortable enough to trust. It turned out that all rotors needed to be changed. I paid a bit more than what the dealer quoted but got both front and rear brakes overhauled and new brake fluids and wheels rotated and balanced. But most of all I got a clear understanding of why it had to be done and the feeling that they were trustworthy. Their customer service was excellent! I live a mile away and needed to be home for telework so he had someone drive me home and then pick me up to get the car. That was awesome and I really appreciated it. Also I called several times with questions and concerns. They politely answered all my questions. I asked them to align the wheels. They checked the alignment and told me it was not necessary. This sealed the deal. I trust this shop and will have them work on my car again.

First and last time going to this shop…read more After an uneventful day of searching for a shop to do a simple brake and rotor change I found this shop. Unfortunately after being charged nearly $400 they still did not do the job properly. The car felt slower after leaving the shop and after close inspection the brakes werent seated properly and the brakes were constantly applying pressure to the rotors. After taking the brakes off I also found that they put one half of the brakes on the wrong side of the car. On top of that they didnt even use the brake grease that comes with the parts. Complete and utter negligence on their part and their mechanics are completely incompetent. Save your money and find a trustworthy mechanic. An oversight like this would cause my brake and rotor to wear abnormally faster than what it should. This could also be extremely dangerous when the customer is driving on the highway and the brakes lock up. Oh and waiting for 3 hours and being charges extra because they had to get "special" brakes for my car.

He clearly said yes, so I assumed the discount would automatically be applied during billing. After waiting for the service to be completed, I noticed at the payment counter that the full amount had been charged. When I asked about the discount, the lady at the counter told me I was supposed to physically show the coupon. I explained that I had already confirmed the discount eligibility with their staff member and assumed it had been factored into the pricing. Instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, they immediately shifted the blame onto me. The workshop employee was called over and conveniently changed his statement, claiming he had told me to show the coupon at the counter -- which was simply not true. The issue was never about the $10. It was about honesty, accountability, and customer service. A customer-friendly business would have either honored the discount or at least offered a future credit as a goodwill gesture. Instead, they seemed more interested in saving every possible penny while making the customer feel at fault. I honestly cannot remember the last time I experienced such a poor and dismissive attitude toward a customer. Would not recommend this place.
