I live all the way in Brooklyn NY and asked a local business owner if they could refer me somewhere I could trust to get me back on the road. They referred me to Direct Drive Diagnostics and when I got there, Thomas literally stopped what he was working on to assist me. This is arguably one of the best mechanic experiences I've ever had. Lisa the office Manager was a sweetheart and Thomas and his partner were able to assess what was wrong, and get my car up in running in roughly under 40 minutes. They were honest, hospitable, all had a great sense of humor and I felt welcomed and comforted that everything was going to be resolved. I highly recommend this place and even living in Brooklyn will bring my car back there moving forward because of how great and reliable they are. I dropped the wheel off at 9 AM and it was ready by 3 PM the same day, which was impressive turnaround time. If you decide to go here, I recommend dealing directly with the owner, John. I was there for break service…read more Unlike the other tire store who told me I need to spend $250 for break rotor and pad, Suburban Discount tire told me I only need to change the pad which is only $79.99 I was there for only break pad but they also gave me a very reasonable oil change price so I fix both problems together. Their tire installation price is very good. $65 for 4 tires. WMT is $11 each tire if bought tires in WMT if not it's $22. Pep Boy's is $110. Suburban discount tires will beat any online price by 10%. They are very trust worthy, friendly, and service is quick. Highly recommend!

I called John before I headed over and briefly told him what was going on. He said I could bring it over anytime so he could take a look. When I walked in, he knew who I was already from our conversation and my car. He told me he had brakes to work on for another truck but that he was going to take a look at mine right after. He called me back within 2 hrs I believe and told me what he found. He told me how long the repair might take and he'd call when it was ready. Not too long after I was able to walk over and get my car. He told me what he saw and even took pictures of what was under my car and what he had to fix. I'm glad that my car was able to be fixed when it could have been a lot worse! John was SUCH a friendly and awesome mechanic and I was relieved after everything was done. I live in the area and pass by this place all the time so I figured I would give it a shot. I called and spoke to Kevin who was such a great guy. Very nice. Usually mechanics come off as abrupt but not him. I told him what I needed he said bring the car in and he will take a look. He had the car for about an hour then called me to tell me the front brakes were bad but thank god they didn't cut into the rotors. He said the front tire could use a plug but he'd rather patch it because it will last longer. And of course the wiper blades which I already knew. Kevin also checked the rear brakes and told me they were ok. Now I have had several experiences being a woman where men mechanics tried to take advantage of me because I am a woman. Back in the day I used to repair my own cars (starters, carburetors, alternators etc) but since technology has taken over and everything needs to be done with computers I no longer fix my own cars. I certainly could have replaced the brake pads myself but I just didn't feel like it. So I took the car to Kevin and had him do everything. I only mention that I used to repair my own cars just to show I do know when I'm being "taken for a ride". Now Kevin could have easily seen me as a woman and could have totally tried to take advantage of the fact most women do not know about cars and just take the mechanics word for the diagnosis. Kevin did not!! He told me my rear brakes were fine. I didn't even ask him to check them. He did that as a courtesy at no charge to me!! I did not tell him my knowledge about cars until mine was fixed. Kevin and his brother are 100% HONEST businessmen!!! They are not out to rip people off. They only repair what needs to be repaired and you CANNOT beat the price and how quickly the work was completed!!! All that work (parts & labor) for under $300, and he only had the car for approximately 4 hours. So whenever I need any work done they will be the only ones to repair my cars!! I took a few business cards as I always do when I'm satisfied with the service I was provided from a business and I keep them in my wallet. About a week after my car was repaired my mom who also has a Hyundai brought her car to them and she was also 100% satisfied. Just yesterday I was at the WaWa putting air in all my tires and I was speaking to the gentleman waiting and he mentioned he had a slow leak in his tire. This was about 3:30pm so I told him to go over and see Kevin. I didn't have the card because I gave them all out but I told him where they were since he is from the area as well and knew just where to go. This is an A++++++ business and I will continue to recommend Kevin to all my friends, family and even strangers who are having car trouble. Keep up the great work and your HONEST business practice. You definitely have me as a customer as long as Yous are in business. Again if you are looking for a mechanic that is A. Kind, B. Honest and C.
