They got me in the next day without an appointment and gave me the best and lowest price for a brand new AC compressor, serpentine belt and AC charge. Dealers wanted 3 times just for the compressor and other shops I called couldn't compete with their prices and 2 year parts and labor warranty. Highly recommended! read more

I'm so I'm not going to lie. I didn't do much research to find this place. I googled tire shop near my house and this place came up. When I walked in, I wasn't sure how my experience would go, but after I left, I was glad I went. When I walked in, I was greeted immediately. I had a few questions which were answered with no problem. I confirmed they could replace my tire and agreed to have it completed. They took my keys and got my car in right away, even though there were other customers in the lobby. The lady at the front desk was very courteous and took the time to explain everything to me that was being done. She even noticed another issued and gave me a quote that seemed fair to come back and address at a later time. Overall, it was a great experience. The shop wasn't as shiny as the chain shops, but they would honest and had great pricing. Overall, I will be going back and recommend others use them as well read more

My tire pressure light appeared on my dashboard leaving work early Wednesday morning in Washington, DC. I tried to find a Royal Farms with a working air pump to no avail. As I was heading home I was driving passed Atlantic Tire and decided to stop in to see if they could help me. The parking lot was full and they seemed quite busy. I walked in and explained my situation. A very nice associate asked where I was parked and could he have my keys. He took the car and added air to all the tires. He reported that the loss was just a few pounds and nothing he was concerned about. He didn't charge me a dime and I was so very grateful for a safe trip from here. I just wanted to let everyone know how wonderful this service was, especially as I wasn't going to purchase tires at this time. Thanks so much!! Great Job Atlantic Tire. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The carjackers would treat your vehicle better then this shop. They destroyed my wheels, did not install them correctly (front and rear are different sizes) and had zero sympathy, they even tried to charge me more ($340) to install some tires, I wish I was exaggerating. They're so bad, Tire Rack removed this shop from their recommended installers after this incident. Full story below. I highly recommend Gerry's Tires on central, incredible experience there! Atlantic tire received the tires on Wednesday and I dropped the vehicle off Wednesday night. At 5 PM on Friday I received a call that my vehicle would not be done until Monday, which was really a bummer as my wife and son were on their way in from Chicago so we could all drive to New York. Apparently the shop had trouble getting the Lugnuts off and couldn't find any (standard Chevy/ford 14/1.5) lugnuts. I had to go purchase my own Lug nuts and bring them to the shop. I don't understand this as I just had a flat repair two weeks ago at a curbside shop in Baltimore (shout-out to Havens tires, you the real hero's) and they had no problem swapping the tire in 15 minutes. When I went to pay for the vehicle, Atlantic tire told me they were charging me $340 including an extra hour of labor to try to get my Lugnuts off. I had spoken with the owner for over 30 minutes that previous Saturday morning and nobody mentioned anything about charging extra labor. The total for the tire mounting and balancing was gonna be $340. I finally got them to takeoff the hour of labor but even with that the price for the installation was $240, Normally $100-$120 at any reputable shop. When they finally called me they told me the vehicle was ready I explained that my wife and son will be there in five minutes to pick it up and they had to take a cab from the hospital. Well my wife got there and they had accidentally put the front wheels on the rear and there were wheels on the front as they're different sizes and told them it would be 30 to 40 more minutes. My son had another appointment at the hospital so they couldn't wait and had to come back later in the day and pick up the vehicle. When I explained this to the owner Ralph his response was, "well we could of just not said anything, let you drive out of here and you could figure it out". I have been dealing with Atlantic Tire for years and wanted to add to a short review I put online recently. Apparently it was not on Yelp though. So... I have been here a few times recently (due to our "well maintained" Baltimore City thoroughfares and each time was treated like an extremely valued customer. The staff here are very knowledgeable and in the past have been able to quickly diagnose a problem I was having that the dealer could not figure out. And the last time I was there the tech went above and beyond just replacing a tire. Trustworthy, knowledgeable and fair. Not sure how you could ask for more to take care of your tire needs. Nice people to deal with. read more

The most horrible tire craphole in the world! I'm just going to say these jerks have no clue how to install lifts on jeeps so please steer clear of this joint!!! They screwed my Jeep up so bad and threw it off level and then Ralph the owner is the biggest jerk ever! He would fix anything for me and belittled and insulted me and my husband! He pretty much wanted my money and screwed my car up and wanted me to pay to fix it!!!! They pretend to know how to lift jeeps but they have absolutely no clue on what they are doing and will lie to your face and after they take your money.. they won't do a damn thing to make right of the situation!!! I purchased new Rims for my 2005 Ford Mustang. Last September I brought them to Atlantic Tire and had tires placed on the rims and had Atlantic Tire Mount and Balance the rims. I noticed that after I had this done my steering wheel would vibrate very roughly back & forth when I was driving between 55-60mph. I thought this was because the rims were different and that was just how they were. Today, I went to Norris Ford and asked for an oil change and tire rotation. When they took the one rim off the Tech at Norris noticed that the nut on the rim had been screwed on crooked (cross threaded). That ruined the threads on the stud that holds then nut on. The stud had to be replaced. There was no way to get the nut back on because the stud was ruined. They told me I was lucky the wheel didn't come off. They charged me $119 to have the stud replaced. I took the ruined stud & nut back to Atlantic tire and asked them if they would reimburse me for the bill. The manager refused to pay for the repairs. At this point I don't know what to do. I showed the stripped stud to 3 different mechanics and they all agreed that it had to have been ruined when Atlantic put the nut on incorrectly. I paid Atlantic tire a LOT of money to mount these rims and tires and I can't believe they won't make good on their mistake. Is there anything I can do? Since the repair my steering wheel no longer vibrates.I would like to be reimbursed for the bill I paid to have my wheel/stud repaired. I can't help what Norris ford charged me to repair it; my car was on the lift and the rim could not be put back on without repairing the stud. The bill was $119. Atlantic tire offered me $20, but I think they need to pay the entire bill. read more
