I came to this establishment when a family member recommended getting my new tires from here. Let me start by saying Isabella is that girl! I love her! The dealership was trying to charge me $700 to change my tires. Well I didn't want to spend that much on some cheap tires. So I came here and Isabella was able to help me save money by getting the service done during the EPIC sale weekend! The service was quicker than stated, and my ride is so smooth! The manager Dave believes it's okay to disrespect customers. I called in to see if there was a wait for an oil change and whoever answered the phone said "there's no wait bring it in and we'll take care of it." Trekked through the snow to get there about 30 minutes later and arrived to an empty parking lot and an empty lobby. Dave said it would take 2 hours for the oil change. He then tried to tell me that's normal for an oil change. He then started to talk down to me and speak to me disrespectfully when I was confused about that, having had most every oil change i've ever had take 30-40 minutes. For a company to promote someone so easily prone to disrespecting customers and someone so full of crap is a pure reflection of this entire store's attitude towards customer service. Do NOT give them your service unless you want to waste your time and support rude and disrespectful people. read more

We were traveling back from spending time with the family down south. The drive was going like usual, long but comfortable. When coming out the Baltimore tunnel we landed a pretty severe flat tire, completely torn inside after investigation. We made a stop at a truck stop to change to our donut but we knew it would not get us home to New York City. We called around the different places in the area we were at: truck stop did not have anyone to help, Walmart needed an appointment, Sam's club mechanic left for the day and it was 2:40pm, and the one place that said that was open, once we arrived looked completely closed and no one answered the phone. Driving around, looking for a gas station that had a mechanic - one of the kids saw a Wawa and Firestone right across. When we rolled up to one of the open garage doors, the gentleman that greeted us was eating his lunch but took a moment to answer my wife's question. He then, dropped his lunch and assisted us with everything from looking at the deflated tired, taking off the rim, showing us how bad the tire was inside, checking how best to help us and finally getting us together with the associate inside to locate, purchase and install the new tire. The associate inside worked with my wife and answered all of her questions and NEVER treated us wrongly but instead helped us calm down and relax. The associate inside even put the Ravens game for the kids to distract them while the adults took care of the situation. We went in for a tire replacement and also got new window wipers since they were there. The gentlemen in the garage put the new tire on, checked the other tires and installed the new wipers - all with a smile. Now, I'm not a car guy, I'm a computer guy and I have heard nightmare stories of going to different mechanics one doesn't know. However, at this Firestone, not only did they treat us professionally, they help calm our nerves, assure the car was safe for the remainder of the trip, and spoke to us as if we knew each other for years. Not sure if the manager to this Firestone will read this, but your guys last Sunday saved our family trip. Treated strangers like friends. Explained everything in laymen's terms. I returned to work, mentioning I took my car to Firestone. A coworker raved about the excellent service she received there on numerous occasions at that location. I ordered my four new tires for my ford explorer. they told me they will ve ready in a week so I went back to replace them and after they made me wait for 40 minutes they told me they only have 3 tires becuase the other one was sold. So I asked to talk to a manager and I was told no manager was available. Horrible service so I wont recomend this place at all. read more

Recently I purchased a new car and about six months out, I had begun looking for a service alternative to the dealer. I'm glad I found this spot. This Firestone is all brand new. It is clean, organized, and smells fresh. My service manager was polite, informative, and was happy to inform me on how Firestone is better than the dealer. I took his word for it and got a full checkup and tire rotation for only $10! Good deal, clean, and makes me feel comfortable. I'll be back. read more

I was in a bind after a previous shop screwed up so I called and the person I spoke with was very nice and let me come in for an alignment. Everything was all good until a "tech" said parts on my brand new front end was "improperly installed" and couldn't do an alignment. I then went and tried to pull up other factory trucks online and show that it was in fact installed properly. Still said they couldn't align the truck. Unbelievable So they wasted about 2 hours of my time and I ended up driving an hour away to the next place that was able to squeeze me in for an alignment. And what do you know, every single thing on my brand new front end was installed 100% perfect and got my alignment done. Do not recommend, however the shop foreman or whatever his name is that sits in the bay was very nice and respectful. The "tech" however was unbelievable read more

I had a flat tire so was looking for places to be able to patch it. Firestone was open on the weekend and allowed me to make an appointment online. I got off work a little earlier than expected so was 30 minutes early to my appointment. I was greeted promptly and the gentleman helping me was very friendly. I opted to wait for the service, which ended up taking about an hour. After I got into my car, they realized they had forgotten to give me back my wheel lock, but the gentleman came out to come grab me before I drove off. Patching the tire was about $30 which I was expecting it to be closer to $20 since that's what I paid in the past at a different auto shop in the county. I would definitely use them again for a tire patch since it's close to home, quick and friendly. read more

I've been having my cars serviced here for a while now. I have zero complaints about their work. Today I had 2 tires replaced and an oil change and was out in less than an hour. Their oil change prices are less than the dealer and less than the drive thru oil change places. I'm not the most trusting person, but they have never tried to oversell. Their full vehicle inspection only alerted me to things I already knew. Everyone I've talked to there was nothing but friendly, courteous and professional. read more

I brought my car here after noting a slow leak in my front tire on my tpms readout. I asked them to take a look for a nail since we had recently had work done on our garage. Despite there only being 2 or 3 other customers it took over 30 mins to get my car on a lift. After ~5 minutes they came out and told me I had a sidewall flat on the well side of my tire, which was irreparable. Since the tires are older they recommended a new set, totalling ~1100 dollars. I'm so happy I did not do business with these guys. I took the wheel off that night when I had some time, and in the middle of the tread there was a nail. After a 20 dollar patch job I have had no issues. Its now a week out and I'm just happy I did not give them my money. In addition they checked a bunch of other things that I didn't ask them to do. Do yourself a favor and go to a real tire shop, this place can't be trusted. read more

Had to change my brakes. First had my rear brakes and rotors changed then had persistent squeaking when I applied the brakes after. So I take it back and they say now I have to change my front brake pads and rotors. So I do that and still squeaking. So I took it to a local shop and they said the brake pads used were cheap. Would not recommend going here- they have no incentive for good customer service. read more

I had a 10 am. appointment & they didn't even pull my car in until 10:45. The work was "completed " at 12:20. I had a 1 pm. appointment at the VA Medical center downtown, & while driving to the VA I noticed my steering wheel was off center. I had just had a front end alignment & 4 wheels balanced. After sitting there for 2 hours & 20 minutes needless to say I was not a happy camper. Now I have to take more time out of my day to have it redone read more

I only wish that I could rate this place lower. They did an absolutely terrible job working on my car. They decided to fix my ball joints but neglected to properly screw the replacements in. Which led to my tire coming detached from the axle while I was driving. I'm lucky to not have been seriously injured. I stopped coming to firestone long ago and now I remember why. I waited 10 minutes until someone came to help me. Meanwhile there were no less than 3 people standing at the computer inside the garage. I asked for 2 tires. They came back and said I needed 4. I consented. 2 hours later the counter person came out and said they had to drive to Perry hall to get the 4th tire that was not at the shop. When the guy got back he came out and told me that he actually went to Timmonium after Perry Hall because another customer needed different tires (btw that guy didn't know they had to get the tires elsewhere.) I understand that they may be out of stock but I want to know if you are wasting my Sunday sitting in an office. Give me the opportunity to come back another day read more

I AM a fan of this place. I have serviced my Porsche, Audi and Honda all here. They both take appointments and allow drop-ins. You can call early in the morning or the day prior and ask what the appointments look like so you know a better time to come in (if you cannot commit to a set appointment time - like me!) You are welcome to stay or drop-off your car. I normally stay so time is of the essence for me; I want to be in and out as soon as possible and I have always had prompt service here. Granted, I go only on weekdays. I'm sure that weekends are busy, however they do open at 7am. Mostly I have had simple routine services completed here: oil change, new tires, plug a tire, check engine light came on. My cars are all newer so we haven't had anything major done. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly. It sure beats $200 for an oil change and I will gladly continue coming here. read more

Great experience here! I made an appointment a few days earlier for an oil change and immediately received a confirmation. When I came in, I asked about getting my tires rotated. I was informed that it would be about $25 but if I got the full checkup and tire rotation, it would only be $10 (I don't understand but I'll take it). They super friendly and super helpful. In providing me with options for what kind of oil I wanted, they were informative but never pushy. I could tell that they weren't just trying to get all the money out of me that they could, and really just wanted me to have a good experience. I will definitely be back. read more

I believe the pries are fair at this location and customer service is always nice. My only rub is that it is hard to get an appointment; the online appointment maker does not quite work with this location. I also went in for a nail in my tire and there was one car in front of me. 1.5 hours later I left after my car had sat done for almost an hour without them knowing. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. had a flat tire on Saturday 10/5/2019. Brought in my car and asked the manager working who's name is Charles btw to replace the tire and also while he's at it check the tire pressure for all four and inspect to make sure all four tires were not punctured and good to go. Charles gave me his word and said I only needed to replace one. Ok. so I replaced one and he comes to give me the invoice which comes out to 200 dollars for one tire. the tire itself which is a Bridgestone ecopia plus for a 17 in rim was priced at 169.99 at Firestone. But when I checked online at the tire retail store which Firestone on Eastern avenue claims they buy their tires from (tire rack.com) it was priced at 110. Okay at the time I didn't think much of it which in retrospect was really dumb. So I grit my teeth and pay the 200. as soon as I get into my car thinking everything was fine and dandy I look and my air pressure light Is still on. Initially, I thought the light just needed to be reset so I reset it but nope. the light stays on my dashboard. I check the air pressure of all four and the front tire was a lower PSI than the other three even though Charles had claimed he checked all of them and pumped air into all four. So I shrug and don't think much of it and had my boyfriend pump air into the front tire again. TWO DAYS LATER. my air pressure light comes back on so I bring it back into this shithole, this time livid and complain that Charles had clearly done a shoddy job of inspecting on sat. night. The technician working on Monday was Arthur Lewis. He was affable and helpful at first. He tells me oh okay yeah if you brought the car in on sat. and the air pressure light is back on two days later its most likely a slow puncture (thanks for literally repeating what I had just said to you). so he says yeah its going to take an hr. to replace your tire since we are short staffed, Again not a problem. Granted I was in a hurry to get to work but I understand shit happens and people get busy. So I wait the hour for my car to be serviced. Finally once its done, one of the technicans working the shift comes in, and his name is Ken Roberts. Ken tries to make me pay 170 for the tire even though on tire rack it had said it was 110. So I ask him where the extra 60 dollars came from even though its the same exact tire. and he was speechless. Finally I think he just got sick of trying to understand why Firestone priced it so high compared to other tire stores and decided to give me the price of that one tire for 110. But he then tried to charge me for insignificant fees like a TPMS kit (7.00) and when I pointed it out and said the invoice from Saturday did not have that charge. Ken ate his words after adamantly stating that it was on the invoice on sat. and he then reluctantly took it off. Bare in mind the entire interaction I had with Ken was extremely unpleasant, not only was he condescending because I was a small Asian woman whom he probably believed did not know jackshit about cars and tires but he was also rude and inept at his job. a Data entry for a receipt took him 40 minutes which should've only taken 10. Absolutely ridiculous. WILL NOT be coming back to this Firesteone. WILL ABSOLUTELY be taking this to corporate. read more

Took my sons Acura car for a re-repair of AC. First repair $890 for replacement of ac condenser and oil change. This time they told me they needed to get a pressure hose from the dealer? Had car car their June 5, 6, and 7. I always had to call them. First day I called in the pm to get news about pressure hose; second day I called in the morning, some one their told me hose will be their any minute and they would call me. Called again pm , service advisor Charles told me he was still waiting for that elusive pressure hose but wasn't going to charge me for the lower hose? I called back again asking about charges, fearing another costly repair. Service advisor said he was personally picking up the pressure hose at the Acura dealer and would have work before noon next day and no cost to me. Again no calls from Firestone. Picked up car in the afternoon, was told car was done and given key. Never given a receipt for work done why? But so glad to get car out of there I didn't care. read more

With a flat tire, I dropped in this location not realizing they were closing in 45 mins. Rather than turning me away or acting annoyed they were very nice and helpful. They patched a hole in my tire within an hour and stayed well after closing time. Very helpful when you are in a pinch. read more

Although it was a bit of a wait ( not uncommon for places like this) I was promptly greeted upon entering the store. Damien was very helpful. Overall, the customer service here is very good. never going back i have previously had basic oil changes without an issue and they have decent customer service however went for what i thought was alignment issues. was told it was my brake system was told it would cost almost $900. I decided to take it to a local place for a second opinion (who ended up doing the same work PLUS more all for $300 less).... when I picked up my car after declining their services i immediately knew something was wrong. Petal to the floor my car still had to roll to a stop. IT was terrifying!!! That was not the condition that I left my car in. The local establishment hat did fix my car told me that a bolt was left off, a brake pad was removed, and a caliper was replaced incorrectly, among other things. My car was very driveable when I dropped it off and their assessment ruined it and they couldn't event put the parts back correctly. I am glad I didn't get into an accident but I will never trust them again. read more

Not impressed. I had my car towed here on a weekday when my car blew a tire in the Fort McHenry tunnel. The place didn't seem too busy, so I was hopeful that I might be able to get at least a half-day in at work. I explained to the guy at the counter what had happened and that I needed a new tire. I asked how long the wait would be, and he said "not very long." He then started to ring-up a tire without discussing any options with me. He told me that the replacement for my ONE tire would be over $200!!! I said that I was absolutely not paying $200 for 1 tire, (I drive a Mazda, not a Maserati, people), and asked what other options were available. He rolled his eyes, actually grunted at me, and turned the computer screen around so I could see the other tires available. So, I'm not a tire expert...the ratings, numbers, etc, meant absolutely nothing to me. The guy didn't explain anything to me. When I asked which tire I should go with, he just said, "whatever you want. This one's on sale." So, I bought the one that was on sale not knowing that 1) this particular model of tire was being discontinued, so finding the other 3 to match would be difficult, 2) the tire was directional and thus cannot be cross-rotated, (which has affected my tires and driving experience since), 3) the tire had a Z speed rating which my car doesn't need (again...Mazda, not Maserati) and wears faster than lower speed rated tires. In the words of the great Wedding Singer, Adam Sandler, "That information would've been useful to me YESTERDAY!!" Oh, and the "not very long wait"? I was there about 3 hours and watched other people come in after, but get serviced before, me. Rude, condescending treatment and slow service. Will not ever go here again. read more

I will never return to this Firestone or any Firestone for that matter. I brought my Jeep in for a routine oil change and realignment. They did the expected run-down of a few things that needed to be replaced or fixed and gave me an estimate but, as a rule of mine, I never opt to fix anything the same day without doing more research, so I left. Within a few days, my Jeep began to have issues with turning and I heard some rattling when I would hit bumps. Suspecting that this was not a mere coincidence, I took it to get a second mechanic's opinion. He found that a couple of bolts underneath had loosened which were causing the issues I was experiencing. He said it was very unlikely that these bolts would loosen to this extent, this quickly, on their own. It did not take much for me to connect the dots from there. Safe to say I am furious and will ensure that I and everyone I know never give them our business again. read more

I took my car here thinking my heater hose had a hole. They told me they could fix it fast. After waiting 4 hours they finally looked at it and realized it was my radiator hose and they would have to order the part. While fixing that they said my oil plug was leaking a little and it would be an easy fix. Long story short they cracked my oil pan and charged me for it. They are overpriced and awful. read more

Great service, great experience, extremely nice guys. Major shout out to Ken and Royan who I met tonight as they took care of my wife's car. My wife, who had work in silver spring in the morning, got a nail in her tire. I was concerned about her driving 95 with a nail even though it was a slow leak. I drove her car to Firestone sure they couldn't fix it. They said they would do their best and they meant it. They couldn't fix the leak and said I needed a new tire. They had the tire, put the tire on and really helped me out. They could have easily told me it was too late and I would have to come back. Their guys all work extremely hard! Cannot say enough nice things about them. I hate being that customer who comes in late in the day but it was a unique situation and I was prepared for them to say they couldn't help me. Car was making some noise and they quickly diagnosed it and informed me what work needed to be done and why. Ryan was absolutely fantastic and friendly! He worked with me on the price and had the car ready over an hour earlier than expected. Found my new car repair shop! read more

Car battery had died, took it here since it was near my house and almost 8pm at night, so not many mechanics were open. They wanted to charge me $175 for a new battery + install. As soon as my boyfriend showed up and started asking the service mechanic questions while he was working on my car, my battery magically wasn't completely dead like they said it was before and could be put back in the car. But, then they said my alternator needed to be replaced - for a whopping $440 and change. Left it at the shop overnight so alternator could be replaced the next day, we decided to do battery on our own. We did some research and decided to do all of the work on our own, since an alternator is only $167 for my car (2011 Ford Mustang). Went in the next morning and the store manager Arthur, gladly processed our request and had us out the door no questions asked and no problems, for $0 - we were happy with that and only that part of our experience with this location of Firestone. But, once we got home, we realized a large bolt/piece was missing that holds the battery strap down - had to make another trip there to get that back. We will never be going back here in the future. We weren't impressed at all with the prices they wanted to charge and lack of attention to detail and proper etiquette for testing parts on a car. We felt like they weren't being honest with us and just trying to make money. We replaced the battery on our own and it's been running fine every since then (going on 4 days), no alternator replacement needed. read more
