I've been going here and make great memories since their first location I believe they opened in 2017. I've been to a lot of different arcade bars across California and this one's my favorite! The vibes now are even better than before the whole setups just pure fun!! The best adult arcade I've been to in a long time! Drinks are strong, games are epic, pinball always fun, and you leave with not that bad of a dent in your wallet! These guys crush it I noticed they are constantly changing out the pinball games and other video arcade games. Couches to chill on by the bar with mario kart built into the coffee tables and pool table not far away! There's old and new games all over the place hard to stay bored here! Also love the staff here always friendly and welcoming they also crush it here super hard to keep up a place like this so tell your friends and support these guys and don't forget to tip the wonderful staff!! Always a great time here, come down support your local businesses and smash some buttons with some friends or family but remember leave the kids at home 21+ only. ;)

The energy of this place is unmatched. It's fun, lively, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The games, the vibe, and the overall atmosphere make it easy to lose track of time in the best way possible. Ted and John are truly fantastic. They, along with the rest of the staff, go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and taken care of. You can tell they genuinely care about creating a great experience, and it shows in every detail. Whether you're visiting Reno for the first time or you live here full-time, this spot is a must. I recommend Press Start every chance I get and will absolutely continue to come back. Thank you, Press Start, for consistently delivering such a fun and memorable experience. Being totally honest this arcade itself is pretty average, but I am bumping the stars up because of…read morethe customer service experience we had while hosting a small birthday party here. As far as the games go, they're all working but the place just feels tired a bit old and rundown. They don't offer a system where they're unlimited play cards include ticket games, but do not reward tickets so the selection of games available to the kids at the party was fairly limited as a result which bothered me, but of course didn't bother the kids who were just happy to continue swiping and playing. That said they do offer some games here that are not typically included in other arcades in town like the Minecraft game which spits out super cool cards and certainly captivated the kids for quite some time. The party room was large but parsley appointed in terms of decorations and really didn't offer much in terms of seeming or decor. There's truly a DIY situation and thankfully, we came with a couple of decorations to put up to make it feel more festive. One of the pizzas included in the party arrived squished in one corner and the supervisor was quick with the solution. Unfortunately, they couldn't remake the pizza which I'm not really sure why, but instead he offered additional cards that the kids could use to play the Midway games downstairs, which ended up being a huge hit. The birthday party deal is a great value to be honest. Works out to around 25 bucks a kid minimum of 10 and it includes pizza and unlimited soda plus a two hour arcade card and $15 to use on the midway or the games with redemption prizes. We ended up adding a $100 card to our party so that we could have the kids play some additional Midway games and that really did extend the fun quite a bit. Midway games are about to six dollars per play, so it does actually go a little ways. If you're staying at Circus Circus, the XP arcade is a fun stop over but if you're from the area, I personally wouldn't say this is the one to come to. That said if you wanna play the midway, you really can't do that anywhere else and it is super fun, especially rewarding when you win a prize. We'll certainly recommend this birthday party option to friends.

The offer card specials and we opted for the $60 one to give us an additional $15 as a bonus. The game area was clean and well lit up. They have video games on the top floor and some more ticket games on the bottom floor. I feel like we lost some credits on the machines because we would swipe and it wouldn't work, but I noticed that my money was going down. There wasn't an attendant to help. We spent like an hour there using up the card. The kids racked up about 1,000 tickets on their card. They use a self serve prize machine to redeem your tickets, which is pretty cool. Overall, we had a great time.

The courses are beautifully set under mature trees, with water features throughout that make it feel cool, relaxing, and honestly kind of magical. What really sets it apart is how well it's organized. There are three different courses, and the staff will gladly tell you which one is less crowded at the moment -- such a simple thing, but it makes a big difference when you just want to enjoy the game without waiting around. The atmosphere is the perfect mix of peaceful and playful. It's great for families, date nights, or just a fun, low-key outing. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable (about $13 per person), especially for how much you get out of the experience. And you can feel the history here -- it's a family-owned business that has been part of the Reno community for decades, and it shows in how well it's maintained and how welcoming it feels. Highly recommend -- we'll definitely keep coming back!

So it was a great pleasure to find Magic Carpet in Reno. This place is top tier. - Three courses, one being 27 holes, so actually 3.5 courses. Note that they say 19 holes and 28 holes respectively but the final 'hole' on each course is just a slot machine deal where you drop your ball and see if you win a free round, or something. - They are all in great shape. Very little ripped carpet or faulty mechanisms. - The holes are challenging and interesting. This is not a place with 18 straight in or maybe one-bend holes. Reasonable prices.

Heads up: the gift shop closed before we could grab anything, and the closing announcements were pretty firm--if you weren't already in line, it was a no-go. Totally fair, just something to keep in mind when planning your visit! There are so many exhibits that we definitely had to move quickly, but it was still 100% worth it. Pro tip: save the downstairs water feature for last--it's an absolute blast for the whole family! As a special needs family, we felt really comfortable here. Our 5-year-old loved the freedom to walk and explore, and our 1-year-old had a great time in the littles area and with the water play. The huge cloud play structure looked amazing, but we skipped it since there's only one way in and out--just didn't feel like the right call for us this time. Bonus: let your kids take the stairs to burn off energy! But if you've got a stroller, wheelchair, or just want an easier route, elevators are available too. Overall, such a fun spot--we'll definitely be back (with more time next time)!

The museum is not very large and most of our kiddos love the Truckee river exhibit as they play there more. It could be the age. Just bring some spare clothes or a towel as they may be drenched. As they get older they may like to do the other exhibits more. They have lego, space, anatomy, physics, and engineering zones. They also have a lab with daily activities. The amazing part is there are plenty of things to do. The downside is the parking lot gets packed fast, but thats a good thing. So give yourself time if looking for a spot. Its super cool for the kiddos and there is even a cute little toddler playground. So please enjoy the space and time.
