Then to mail paperwork and to get it all returned and half of it with water damage on it . To be told I need to go online to Cali. Secretary of State website to get agent names for both businesses. Then to see courtesy towing is closing . with worst thing possible happening kid locked me out of my iPhone 13 where you can't recover from a lockout without the latest update , which mine didn't get updated so lost the recordings . For my open and shut case , where both companies admitted they were at fault . so now hoping I get courtesy towing before they get out of paying me . hopefully my time stamp post on Facebook explaining what happened, ihop receipt and my unrelated witness testimony and corresponding texts and emails are enough proof to get paid by both companies for the $3,530.54 in damages and fix my car and all my time I was inconvenienced totaling $7,061.08 I'm owed . worst towing company ever !!

The oil changes change price depending on who's at the counter. I bought my tires there so the tire rotation should be free but then all of a sudden my oil change is 40 more dollars than the last time. They had trouble getting a screw off the oil pan for my jeep and that turned into over $400 by itself. I'm sorry I cannot recommend them.

I was happy with the fast service and excited about my new wheels. To my fault, I took a back angle photo of the back right tire then left. Fast forward a week and not using my truck, I washed it. When I got to my wheels, I used a sponge and car soap. I see a black oily substance and scratches on the center area of one wheel. I inspected the last 3 and find all the same marks. I called Hanlon's and they told me to send photos. I did and had to call back over 30 minutes later to get a response. I was told by Rob, "the manager", that he would get back to me on the following Monday. Of course, he didn't and I had to call back. He told me he would get back to me the next day. Tuesday, 3 days after the initial call, I am given the "he's on lunch" excuse for the second time. I called again and I'm out on hold for 13 minutes and 22 seconds. Rob proceeds to say it wasn't their fault according to an online service "specialist". I then told him I'm coming in. As I drive in, I felt the hostility of 3 of his workers surrounding my truck, probably trying to justify their work was good and it wasn't them. Rob used a flashlight and inspected a couple of the wheels and proceeded to deny it. He showed me a paper of an email of someone else's wheel that was scratched and said "see, this is how our machine would've scratched them". If you're the only shop to touch my BRAND NEW $2000 WHEELS, and there's scratches on all 4 wheels in consistent locations, how can you deny my claim? Three out of 4 boxes were sealed. Long story and you've probably moved on from my review already, but think twice before going to Hanlon's. Rob has my number and he has the opportunity to correct his mistake. However he sees fit on a settlement, I'm all ears. He mentioned "refurbish" on the phone and I'm not refurbishing my brand new wheels. This business had great reviews on yelp and google so I wanted to try it out. And I wanted to see if this was a shop I could regularly come to as I recently moved close-by. I walked in and after roaming around to find someone, I started speaking with an employee who said the owner Mike was not in. He said in order to inspect the air conditioning, it would be at least $200 which is also their price for an oil change. So I should just get an oil change and they would do many things including looking into the air conditioning. He didn't say it was a full air conditioning check. Yet he said they could let me know what the problem might be and he would note it. I didn't really need an oil change. I don't think I was even half way there. I decided to try it out and see how this place was. The owner Mike called me back multiple hours later letting me know my car was done. I asked him about the air conditioning and he said he didn't even look into the air conditioning and that I came for an oil change. He said it would be $240 to look into what the problem was with the air conditioning. He said that was just to inspect it though and no guarantee of fixing anything. I was irritated and he then told me I was a cheap person. We were on speaker phone in the car with my girlfriend and her friend who both said they didn't like this guy, were not comfortable with him, that he didn't know how to talk to people, the way he spoke was not professional, and that I shouldn't work with him, because there are other mechanics I could go to that were good. Ultimately I decided to go pick up my car. It was a very awkward conversation with the owner in his little office room. I went to pay and I wasn't very comfortable paying, because this is not what I came there for. I decided to pay uncomfortably and observed the way the owner Mike was and he seemed pretty arrogant and with an attitude after done of 'here are your keys. Go walk over to your car and get it yourself.' I was trying to get input on what he saw in the car on his service as well and he casually mentioned multiple things he saw and didn't seem interested in explaining much at all. Really weird experience here especially contrasting to the other good reviews for this business. I guess he goes above and beyond for other customers. Wasn't the case with me.

And concluded it was the battery. Probably because I had my emergency lights on too long. Doug charged my battery (replacement not needed), and my car started. He tested gear shifting and movement. Doug was successful and I made it home safely. I praise Vasquez towing for being professional, accommodating, and quick to respond.
