We've had Leonardi out for two appliance repairs in the last four months, and we won't be using them again. The first visit was for a dishwasher that had stopped getting the dishes clean. After a $300+ repair, it leaked the very next time we used it, causing over $2,000 in damage. That repair should never have been done, and the technician should have advised us to replace the unit. We gave them the benefit of the doubt that he did what he thought was best and called them back for a dryer issue. This technician said nothing was wrong, yet the problem has continued. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. There won't be a third time.

I…read moretold him my problem (water leaking from the back of my fridge) and he immediately described all of the possible causes, and quoted me a labor cost over the phone. He arrived an hour later as promised and after taking a back panel off of the fridge he was able to spot the problem in less than a couple minutes... it was exactly what he had told me the most likely problem was, an invisible pin hole leak in a water feed tube. He went to Home Depot to get a replacement hose... of course the OEM hose had proprietary nubs on each end of the hose so he bought a generic hose and retrofitted the proprietary ends onto the generic hose ends. No need to order an OEM hose and put up with a water leak until it arrives. That solved the immediate problem, and in testing to make sure there were no new leaks from the replaced hose, he saw that the water filter housing was also starting to leak into an evaporator pan. He helped me order the correct part and now we are waiting for it to ship. I've had good luck with all the appliance repair people I have used, but Tyler really goes the extra mile for customer satisfaction and is very appreciative of my business. When I need service in the future he is the first I will call.

I don't know what more I could ask for in a service situation…read more I submitted a Yelp request for service on my Maytag dryer that wasn't heating up so 6 service professionals respond, but SMA was able to do same day service and work with my schedule. The technician arrived on time, looked at my issue and repaired the dryer with parts he had with him. The price was comparable to other service quotes , without an upcharge for same day service. Does it get any better than this? I will be using SMA for any future service needs.

I had already made 3 prior calls to other technicians and Mark was the only one that gave me what it would cost to repair my dryer. Others wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee and then if I decided to go with them, they would reduce the diagnostic fee. But after I explained to Mark what my dryer was doing, he told me exactly what it could be and how much it would cost. Mark did not cover the area I live at, but he was willing to come by me and repair my dryer. Mark used to be a technician at Sears, so I felt very comfortable with him because I had purchased my Electrolux machines from Sears in 2010. He was very friendly and knew what he was doing. It took time to take my dryer apart to get to where the ignitor was. He replaced it with a new one and assembled everything back the way it was. He even gave me a Veteran's discount, which I was very pleased. Mark's price was very reasonable, but most importantly, he did a great job and repaired my dryer on the spot. I sent a message via Yelp on a Sunday night and they immediately scheduled our oven troubleshooting for Monday afternoon. Their front office staff is incredibly responsive! George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. He is approaching this very methodically - ok, so it's not the igniter, let's look at the next link in the chain... I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended! He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update. I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies.
