I'm not one to write a review, but after 2 complete no-shows for appointments, I'm at a loss. They came out once, told us they'd need to clean the coils and that a crew would be by later- that never happened. No call, nothing. After not being able to find anyone that wasn't booked out solid for 3 weeks, we decided we'd try again. Spoke to a man on the phone and set up an appointment again. I wish there was a way to give zero stars. I typically don't write reviews, but feel the need to warn others never to use this company. No one deserves to be stolen from and cheated out of thousands of dollars like we were. In October Luis and his son came to the house and said we needed to have our Heating and AC units replaced (we have two of each.) Luis required a deposit for 60% of the quoted amount. When Luis failed to show up for the install I learned that the check was cashed at a Moneytree (check cashing business) two days later. After numerous no show appointments to come and perform the work, they finally showed up to take our two outside AC units. The texts, calls and stories about how things have gone since then would take pages to write out. No response, except for the occasional story about why they couldn't come for the scheduled appointment, no remorse, nothing. Needless to say we are out thousands and thousands of dollars. I am beyond disgusted by the level of theft we have encountered. Now it is two months later and no response, the work hasn't been performed, we are out even more then the $14,000 we paid given they took our AC units as well. We now have involved the police and will likely file a civil suit as well. Under no circumstances should this company be used for even the smallest of jobs. They will steal your money. read more

Luis and his son Raymond - are a cheat. Took the check on 17th November, 2022 -encashed it 18th for 6k almost - promising me to do the job by next Tuesday and it has been 3+ weeks- he has not done it and told me stories after stories to write here. Be aware of this type of fraud out there. and to be frank, because of people like them - world is so worse today than what it should. If he asked for - I could have helped. Contacted these guys after having previous work done at a different address. Things can change, a LOT, and this was for the ABSOLUTE WORST. We got a quote, an appointment scheduled for an install of an AC unit, humidifier, and furnace and paid 60% up front. Installation was scheduled for March 31st, snow storm forced a reschedule. New date was for April 6th, they were a no-show, no text, no call. New date set for April 12th, they were too busy to come to our house and now the equipment is also not available? April 18th contacted about another install date, Louis claims equipment is still unavailable. The equipment should have been available prior to the FIRST installation date. On the 20th stated equipment was on a truck. New scheduled install April 27th, no call, no-show. Contacted them on the 28th and requested a firm date or possibly going to cancel for refund. Scheduled install for May 2nd. Louis texted on the 2nd and stated electrician was unavailable and 2 employees sick, and needed a reschedule. New date, May 16th. We are told the AC unit was damaged on the truck and they were looking for a new unit. May 19th set for new installation date. They actually showed up on the 19th and took out the original furnace and left. Showed up on the 20th and installed new AC unit and furnace. They were going to finish the installation on the 21st, the humidifier and closing up the drywall. They did not show up or call on the 21st. We contacted them the 27th for an explanation, Louis said they were busy and would check his schedule. No contact from Louis. May 31st, contacted Ray about scheduling issues and being unable to reach Louis. Ray stated he would "check the schedule" and call back within the hour, never called, or texted. June 6th, contacted Louis about completion of installation, no response. June 27th Louis finally contacts us about installing humidifier and closing up drywall so we asked when they can schedule adn be here, no response from Louis. We reached out again on July 2nd to ask about a final completion date. There has been no response and today, July 6th, we are posting this review. We have also had the unit inspected by another HVAC professional and the coils installed were too large for our home (5 ton and we needed 3.5 ton) and the coils have frozen due to that. If you want one of the absolute worst HVAC companies in the state of Colorado, then THIS IS the outfit for you... read more

They are not reliable. Be careful. You call them to finish the job and they never respond. Ton of excuses when you talk to them. And their location is empty. The location where they have in their website is false. They are not there, so you can find them anywhere. Be aware! read more

Atmosphere Mechanical came out to a house I was buying to inspect and certify the furnace as part of purchase negotiations. They passed the furnace and certified it, although they did recommend a cleaning. 4 days after we moved in, the furnace stopped working. I called a different HVAC person, who came and cleaned 1 little part and the furnace has worked fine since. He said this part should have been cleaned as part of any certification. read more

I don't want to trash these guys, because I think they're reputable, and are good at what they do; I'm taking the time to write a review, because of an experience I thought should be shared. We had scheduled an appointment to have our furnace and A/C serviced; ironically, the furnace broke down over a cold May weekend, two weeks ahead of the service appointment. I opened the furnace and identified the problem as a bad motor on the fan that's used to draft the exhaust fumes out of the furnace; I was able to remove it easily by taking out the four screws. I contacted Atmosphere Mechanical, to see what the cost would be to replace the fan, explaining that I had removed it, and sending a picture to confirm the part was available. To their credit, they responded, and confirmed they had the part, and were available to replace the fan that same day. What I took exception with was the cost to perform the work; after getting their estimate of $575 I contacted a part supplier, and got a quote of $135 on the part (retail), which assuming Atmosphere Mechanical paid retail, meant I was paying over $400 for labor. I ended up purchasing and replacing the motor myself, including separating the fan and housing from the broken motor and reassembling, taking 2.5 hours all in including travel to get the part. I understand there's generally a premium for weekend service, but I felt this was exorbitant, and left a bad impression of their business. read more
