As a result, my wife spent considerable time researching roofing companies in hopes of finding a reputable, licensed contractor that could work within our budget. While several of the companies she contacted were professional and courteous, we ultimately chose Prime American Roofing--and we are extremely glad we did. Our Project Manager, Jonathan, worked closely with us and provided an estimate that fit our budget. He was friendly, communicative, and always available to answer questions or address concerns. His team handled all of the necessary permits through the City of Pasadena, making the process as smooth as possible. Most importantly, the roofing crew did a phenomenal job replacing our roof. The quality of their workmanship exceeded our expectations, and Jonathan and his team truly went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied with the final result. Substandard finish and no follow-up on a $25,000+ project…read more I hired Prime America Roofing to apply a silicone coating to my flat roof. The project was completed and the roof is sealed, which is the reason this isn't a one-star review, but the standard of craftsmanship fell well short of what a job of this size and cost should deliver. The problems were not isolated; they accumulated across the work, and several caused damage or follow-on issues that I had to resolve myself. The trouble began during application. The silicone sealer dripped onto the ground below the roofline, and I was fortunate to be walking the property at the time, because I was able to wipe the residue away before it set. Had I not been there, it would have dried in place. The application itself was careless: sealer splattered across my skylights (I have the photos to show it), leaving a mess where there should have been clean, deliberate work. Beyond the cosmetic problems, the crew failed to restore key components to their proper positions. The electrical conduits on the roof, which rest on wood blocks, were not returned to their original placement, and as a result the metal conduits became fused directly onto the dried silicone layer. The condensate drainage line for my AC was also left improperly routed; instead of running cleanly from the unit to the drain, it was left hanging, which caused water to back up into the AC unit and ultimately stopped it from working. The detail that best captures the lack of care was my outdoor bathroom sink. The crew used it to clean their painting equipment and left dried silicone lumps caked across the porcelain. It was filthy. The only way I could remove the buildup was to scrape it off with a straight-edge razor. What pushed my rating down further was the absence of any accountability afterward. I notified the job supervisor of these issues more than two weeks ago and have received no response from the company since. A reputable contractor stands behind its work and addresses legitimate concerns; silence after a $25,000+ project is its own kind of answer. I expected professionalism from start to finish: clean application, components restored to working order, respect for the property, and responsiveness when problems arise. What I received instead was sloppy workmanship, preventable damage to my AC system, a cleanup burden left on me, and no follow-up. Two stars reflects a job that was technically finished but poorly executed and poorly supported.

Our roof was in a bad state and had started to leak damaging the wood underneath. Alpha roofing took care of everything. They replaced all the old wood with new one and got it approved by an inspector. They used quality materials every step of the way and took care of the outside of the house by cleaning up after every day. Replacing a roof is a big expense, but Andy (the owner) took care of us by offering us a great value for the cost and even offered an installment plan. They only took pay after each segment of the project was complete. It's the best feeling not to have to worry about the roof. Overall, I feel grateful that we found Alpha roofing and I will definitely recommend it to anyone in need of roofing. And by the way, they also helped us remove and reinstall all 32 of our solar panels.

Vicente showed up with a big friendly smile and was able to immediately find the source of the leak. He was able to repair on the spot, as well as carefully inspect our entire roof. His communication skills and knowledge were excellent, in relaying missing shingles blown off as well as parts of the roof that had incorrect materials installed - risking future leaks. On came out to inspect the roof and pointed out the various problems on the roof, and suggested a full replacement on the bathroom section. I also inquire about work on our garage (though it's not leaking, but it's in need of replacement). On gave me an estimate of work for both garage and bathroom in a terrific value; I was shocked initially since no other contractor has given me such a reasonable estimate. Written and later official estimate was given, and the cost, part, work was exactly as quoted (aside from plywood needed for the garage) On is very genuine and respectful. He maintains a very high level of communication, and you just feel greatly welcomed when talking to him. Out of the 4 days of work done, On is pretty much there every day to inspect and verify proper work is done by the crew. When the crew do finish their work at the end of each day, there is NO mess left behind in the house/garden. Everything is cleaned up and nearly placed by the wall. My wife was shocked and commented that the yard was cleaner than the day before. AAA Expert Roofing did a fantastic job in my home repair, and I'm glad I ve selected them.

We have been working with J&J Roofing since May of 2022. At that time, we suffered damage in a room…read moreduring the rains and interviewed many roofing contractors. All of the roofing contractors other than J&J Roofing advised us to re-roof our entire house. Even though the front half of the roof of a 50 year roof (which was installed before we owned the house and J&J Roofing as not involved) has not lasted anywhere near 50 years, the front side and back side have worn differently. All of the other roofers would not even re-roof just the front half - it was all or nothing. J&J said that they could easily repair the issue without re-roofing and it cost us less than $500 for them to repair it. The repair worked. Almost four years later (and they had told us that at least the front half of the roof had only a few years remaining), at least the front half of the roof needed to be replaced. Since they had been so fair and honest with us and we were pleased with their work, we did not bid out the project - they got it. As they had said before, only the front half of the roof needed to be replaced at this time (with a possible additional ten years on the back half). We own solar panels and they referred us to someone who agreed to remove and replace the panels for almost half the cost that the company which installed the panels would have charged us. While it's not inexpensive to re-roof a house (even half of a roof), we felt their price was fair, they saved us the additional $3,500 that our solar company would have charged, their staff and crew were and always have been very professional and honest. The roof looks wonderful and they coordinated scheduling for the solar panels to be removed and replaced. They collaborated with that business. We recommend J&J Roofing without hesitation.

Their estimator Jush has always been honest, easy to work with, and explains things well. Plus the repair work they did for us was top notch and fixed the leaks we were having. So when it finally came time for a full re-roof, J&J was one of 4 total estimates we got, once again courtesy of Jush. Their price was competitive, they offer a really solid warranty, and their proposal/contract simply made sense to us. Add to that our past positive experiences with them on smaller repair jobs, and we ended up choosing J&J to do the full re-roof. Both my wife and I were really glad we did. We worked with Justin on scheduling and were able to set up the job on a specific week that worked best for us. He communicated well and answered all our questions leading up to the job. We were having a hard time choosing a color, so I visited the J&J office in Pasadena and Justin set us up with some samples to bring home, which was a big help. As for the work itself, both my wife and I were super impressed with the J&J work crew... all of them were courteous and professional, they cleaned up well, and just did a really great job. Particular props to Carlos for managing things and doing some impeccable work, plus William and Emilio for being super helpful and hard-working. But honestly, the entire crew was great and our new roof looks amazing.

Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. I needed to fix the railing and posts on my porch as the wood had rot on the base due to water and…read moretermite damage. Got 4 quotes from contractors. Two wouldn't take the job because it was too small. Franklin came by and gave me the best price. After the initial deposit, his crew came by about a week later and finished the job in one day. I think they did a pretty good job replicating what had existed before, although the work seemed a little sloppy. I saw a few gaps in the framing, but they were able to seal it up with bondo. Also on one of the posts there was a large crack in the wood, but that was sealed as well. For the price, I think this was a pretty good value. Would definitely recommend for smaller jobs like mine.

We hired Atom Builders for a full roofing project on our flat roof, and I can confidently say they delivered outstanding service from start to finish. During our course of the project we were unexpectedly hit with rain and strong winds which caused the protective tarp to shift and resulted in a leak, as soon as Atom Builders was notified their team responded immediately! They sent out a full crew to assess and address the issue without any delays. What truly stood out was their commitment to making things right. Without hesitation, they offered and provided AirBnBs for the affected tenants to ensure minimal disruption and offered full reimbursement for any damaged belongings. Beyond that they even repaired pre-existing issues in the units going well above and beyond the original scope of work. I was in direct contact with John, one of their managers who kept me informed throughout the entire process. His communication was consistent, professional and reassuring. John genuinely cared and made sure everything was handled smoothly. I would strongly caution anyone considering this roofing company. We worked with Tony and had our roof redone in July of 2025, and by February 2026 we experienced water damage inside our home. After inspection, the issue appeared to be related to poorly installed flashing around a vent. Instead of taking accountability or even seriously investigating the workmanship, the company quickly dismissed the problem and claimed it was caused by an animal, therefore not covered under their warranty. This was disappointing, especially given how soon the issue occurred after a full roof replacement. A reputable company should stand behind their work and be willing to thoroughly assess potential installation issues rather than deflect responsibility. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to help resolve the damage left us dealing with repairs on our own. My husband and I found ourselves in need of a roofing company around Christmastime after a windstorm that tore shingles off our roof. After researching a few reputable companies in the area, we settled on Atom Builders, Inc. They were polite, professional and thorough during the entire process, from initial assessment to completion. They handled everything from permits to inspection. Communication with the company representative was never lacking. Every question or concern was addressed right away. Excellent customer service! The young man who did my roof work (Chris) was very knowledgeable and so helpful. He explained my options in depth and worked with his manager for the best possible price. I needed some help with a section of my roof, I had a couple of leaks by my skylights that needed to be taken care of. George and John came out to the inspection and they had mentioned that there was some additional damage by the A/C unit. We gathered multiple quotes from roofing companies and NEWHAUS was very competitive. Don was willing to work with us when unexpected findings were discovered underneath the old shingles. However, the price was still competitive with the other companies. The workers arrived on time each day and completed the job quickly. Each day they cleaned up the job site and also picked up debris from our neighbors' property. Our neighbors were satisfied they were unaffected by the workers and the workers cleaned up their property. I had two other neighbors inquire about NEWHAUS for getting quotes for future roofing projects on their homes. They were impressed with the quality of the job and speed of the work. I will be recommending NEWHAUS Construction and Roofing to other relatives and friends.

Get the quotes but like me you will find Epic at the best price and after having my roof completed, I am here by documenting They had an excellent service so look no further. From the early stages (thanks Daryl) they were very informative and helpful in explaining the process. During the actual work excellent service continued (thanks Alex) they have a project manager (Alex) that comes every day and update you and you can go up and check the daily process on work with Project manager. Epic handles all aspects of the process such as city permits etc. The 25 year warranty certainly a piece of mine and any leaks within the first 10 years they'll fix for free. I also had Epic remove and reinstall my solar panels and they did an excellent job (thnks Fernando). All a one stop to shop. I'm recommending to my neighbors.

When they started working everyone was wearing shirts and had trucks from another roofing company. Then when I brought that up to our site manager he gaslighted me and said they didn't use subcontractors that they had their own licenses and were insured. Well that's what subcontracting is.. It rained in the middle of the install and they didn't cover the roof properly so it leaked in the house. They came back and covered it properly after we reached out. The roof is good now, but overall a messy job. When we went to paint the new facia boards they started bubbling. Turns out they didn't wait for the boards to dry completely before priming.. so now we are out a couple more thousand dollars to have that redone properly.. and they didn't line up the fascia board right so we had to fix that too. When they did the tear off they left nails everywhere. One found its way in my car tire and now I have to fix it. Overall a very sloppy job, but they weren't the ones who did it. They just hire subcontractors so you don't know what you're getting by hiring them.

They totally replaced my asphalt shingles, and provided us with a beautiful, up to code, new roof with a warranty that will last for the rest of my life on the planet! This company runs like a well-oiled machine with high efficiency and expertise that comes from extensive experience. I received ongoing excellent communications from Harry throughout the project without any extra complications or fear of abandonment. They finished the entire job with city permits and inspections within 7 business days. Not once did I feel like I would be stuck with an incomplete job by a distracted contractor. All of my questions and concerns were addressed within reasonable timeframes and with respect. I am completely satisfied in July 2026 and know that we are ready for any predictions of stormy weather during the coming winter season(s). I am glad to know that this company offered a warranty to call them if any problems arise in the distant future so that they can fix it. This is also what you value and pay for - help with future issues if they arise. I totally liked the bid Steve gave us and they don't use paper they use self adhesive ply that when you nail it, it self seals . I live in the inland empire and found all in roofing using Google . I totally love the drone pictures and video as the project went along . I too have a drone but didn't need to use it. Any of my friends or family going forward I will recommend all in roofing . From the first call, Mike (the owner) was responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He brought real experience to the table in helping me choose the right roofing material for my house, and I honestly don't think I would be nearly as satisfied with the outcome without his recommendations. I ended up going with concrete tile, and the finished result looks excellent. Mike also took the time to answer all of my questions (and there were many) and made sure everything was carefully planned before work began.
