I Yelped "fun pizza place" and Atomic Cowboy came up in the search. This place has many personalities. It's a great bar with a large main sitting area. That area also has a large bar you can saddle up to and quench your thirst. If you decide you're hungry, you've got lots of options. From Monday through Friday before 2pm, or Saturday and Sunday until 3pm you can pick from their Denver Biscuit Co menu. If you love biscuits they've got a large variety. Lots of chicken choices and sides. There's a lot of gravy coming out of their kitchen - sausage or vegetarian mushroom. Once the day gets older they switch to Fat Sully's pizza menu. The kitchen is at the end of this building. It serves the restaurant, and there is a walk up window outside, with seating, where you can order a slice of New York style, fold it in half to eat it, pizza to go. The seating outside the walk-up window is if you want to sit and eat it there. The pizza is regular or gluten-free and only comes in three sizes: (1) whole - a 26" pizza, (2) in a big-ass slice which is easily a meal for one, or (3) the kid's slice which I think is just a big-ass slice cut into smaller pieces. As with any of their pizza choices, you get to pick the ingredients. (NOTE: The red sauce on the pizza has some spice to it.) If you just aren't interested in biscuits or pizza and just want a hunk of meat, they do offer a burger. And if you have a sweet tooth, there is a bite-sized, finger food dessert you can order with dipping sauce (icing). The restaurant has outside seating. On nice days you can sit along the not-to-busy 11th street while you dine. In the colder months, the seating area is protected by a plastic wall. This place is also kid friendly with crayons and a kid's coloring sheet to keep them busy until their food arrives. If you have a small private party, there's a section at the back, separated from the main bar with 2 large booths and four 2-person tables. It would be idea for a small get together and because the place is bustling you don't have to worry your rambunctious party will disturb the other patrons. read more

We enjoyed a late lunch on a busy fall weekend. I added our names to the waitlist but it wasn't needed and we were seated immediately. We sat on the outdoor patio and enjoyed the lovely weather. Service was friendly and quick. My husband ordered a slice of sausage pizza and it was delivered shortly after ordering. The waitress let us know his pizza would likely be delivered before the rest of our orders. But my biscuit wasn't far behind. His pizza slice was huge with a delicious thin crust. This is the second time we've been into this new location and it's been equally great both times. This trip, our server, Philip was awesome! His customer service was top tier. We tried the fried okra (which made my southern heart so happy). There was the smallest amount of sugar in the seasoning I didn't love but overall I would say 4/5 on the okra. The new arugula salad was absolutely amazing 5/5 for sure. We've been to other atomic cowboys for late night slices many times but this is the first time I saw that they were offering white pie slices now. It was super cool to try that out 4/5. SO GOOD! This place is such a fun and yummy spot! We stopped in for lunch and split a biscuit and order of fries. We got the K-Mack (Korean) biscuit and the Sully's fries. Both were so tasty!! The K-Mack sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, so good. Sully's fried have sausage gravy on the bottom... such a good idea. This is my families go to breakfast place as of late. The atmosphere is fun and eclectic. I like the self serve coffee bar with multiple syrups and creamer and I find it fun having random mugs to choose from. ( I'm easily amused ). I typically get the THREE RUN DOUBLE and occasionally we get a CINNAMON ROLL ( Divine ) for the table to share. The bacons killer and I like the blueberry preserves for my big o biscuit. A little salty, a little sweet. The service is consistently friendly and attentive. My biggest complaint would have to be the hostesses which can be surly at times. It's a shame when your first impression is an unfriendly greater but overall Atomic Cowboy is doing a great job and we love going. read more
