We go to Vice fairly regularly, and we have been going for years. My go-to dish is the Trout. It's light yet filling - perfect. The cocktails are all good and the list is varied enough to keep you coming back. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about by saying there are no prices on the menu. The prices are clearly stated (and incredibly reasonable). The patio area is great, and we've never had to wait for a table. read more

Friday around 2pm we were looking for a place with dog friendly patio seating, we found this FAB restaurant on Yelp. We were beyond impressed. Our waitress was fantastic - engaging, patient, and knowledgeable about everything on the menu, she gave us some awesome recommendations and even brought a full water dish with ice for the fur babies. We actually interacted with many of the staff while dining, some just checking in on us, giving the pups some personal attention as well. Everyone was welcoming and genuinely friendly. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch on the quaint patio and never felt rushed. The food was exceptional. We ordered the cheese and charcuterie boards and ate every morsel. The wine slushies were an unexpected treat, and the old fashioned and whiskey smash were so good! Our sandwiches were delicious and exactly as the menu described, the fries were outstanding (it's rare that I rave about fries) and the mac n cheese was yummy! The buffalo ribeye was absolute perfection! This would be my regular spot if I lived nearby. I'll 100% return next time I visit Colorado. Many more items on the menu I'd love to try... Enjoyed the ambiance! Ordered the meatballs. They were served to me at room temp. Disappointed with that since you pay for food to be served hot, but enjoyed the overall vibe. Imagine marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce at room temp poured over room temp meatballs. Not sure I'd go back except for perhaps a drink. We ordered bison meatballs and the Feta cheese dip plate and both were excellent. And because we are in Golden Colorado home of Coors, Coors light is only four dollars a glass. Went there three times on our visit to Golden/Morrison Co... the staff is super friendly and very helpful when choosing what to eat... we ordered something different every night and it was all good... the ranch is good : ) the last night we were there the "garage door" was open and the ambiance was so relaxing and chill. Went here with some coworkers and it was so good! They have a great selection of whiskeys although the cocktails were a little sweet for my taste. The food was outstanding! Pretty great location just before entering the foothill to the mountains on I-70. The drinks here were great. I recommend the manhattan with the elderberry in it. Really good if you like a nice manhattan. The food was so so, I got the bison burger and ordered it medium rare and it came out a lot drier than usual. Service was good, our initial bartender did well, but took forever to close us out. Don't let that stop you from going to, it is a great spot and amazing cocktails. read more

Nice place, good seating and lively atmosphere. We showed up at 4pm on a Friday and were seated right away by the time we left it was filling up quickly. Service was good, our server made great suggestions. We ordered the hummus appetizer which was yummy, the salmon BLT which was ok and the fig & pig flatbread. The flatbread was quite dry. I would give Vice a 3.5 star review. We recently visited for a birthday celebration. I think their location is a bit difficult to find and their seating was a bit crowded. We did reserve space for dinner but had to request to move seats because the table we were at didn't have any seat backs, they were great at giving us the space to do so. I'm sure Vice is struggling like other local restaurants to hire team members, it was a bit evident that they were lacking in team members to support the amount of folks at the bar/restaurant. Regarding the food, the bread and spread was great, I'd come back just for this in the future and they gave gluten free crackers with the cheese spread. The charcuterie board was good but the meats left us feeling like they could have been more. We were only able to order a round of drinks due to lack of staff checking in, the food was delivered and one of the meals was incorrect. The individual who brought our food didn't recognize right away that the salad they brought out was completely different than what was ordered. Warning, the resturant has a hidden 3% fee for kitchen staff. I find this unethical if not illegal. The customer ends up paying more than what is printed on the menu and it implies they do not pay their kitchen staff a fair wage. It also moves some of the financial risk taken by the owners onto the staff since if business is poor, the staff get paid less. Recommend avoiding this resturant. read more

I don't understand what just happened. I ordered a burger well done and I know that it takes a little while longer. But when 20 minutes went by I asked politely what happened. And then both bartenders became very beligerent. I am not sure if they had been drinking or on drugs but when I politely asked if i could talk to one of the bartenders he said - "get out and if you ever come back I will call the cops". I know there are two sides to every story but this was beyond bizarre. If I was the owner, I would have been very embarrassed by what had happened. We happen to own 6 restaurants and if ANY of our employees had spoken like this, I would at least investigate and ask why this escalated and how this could have happened. Came here for dinner before a Red Rocks show. Great location for that. Service was kinda slow and the waitress forgot a couple things. We got the meatballs and a cheese platter for appetizer and they were pretty good. I got the Fig and Pig flatbread which was like a dessert pizza. It was very heavy on the bread, not so much a "flat" bread. Very sweet. I liked it but wish it wasn't so bready. Everyone else said their food was decent. It was good but everything was over priced. This place is bombdigity! Not sure that's a word but it fits! Great section of beer, whiskey and bourbon. Superb customer service from the minute you enter the joint! The prices were reasonable and the food was fantastic. You definitely got a lot of food for the money. I had the pulled pork on flatbread which had a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce on it and tasted miraculous in your mouth. I also ordered the two large meatball appetizer; one meatball comes covered in a white cream sauce, the other with your typical marinara. The meatballs were almost as good as my grandma used to make. The interior of the restaurant was casual and was well laid out. They were observing typical Covid protocols for Denver. I wouldn't of found this place except we were visiting red rocks amphitheatre so I searched up to look for a local brewery. This place isn't a brewery but it was actually located next one. Had the same experience as Trish A. The hostess has serious issues. Cold, abrupt, robotic, and incompetent. We went here this past Sunday evening around 7 PM. She told us to sit outside and would bring menus right over in a cold, unfriendly, unwelcoming manner. We waited eight minutes and no one came over. However the hostess seem to actually be serving people too and was walking by and dealing with other customers at the two tables next to us. We tried to get her attention but weren't successful. We left and went over to Nomad Mexican in the hotel across street which had fantastic authentic Mexican dishes, and a lovely design and atmosphere. Hopefully the owner reads this and makes the necessary corrections because he's losing business because of a nasty and apparently miserable employee 40-50's 5' 7" blondish lady. read more

The only reason I'm giving this two stars is because of the staff they were delightful. The wine was very good as were the Manhattans. The problem was the Lotus burger. It was some of the worst slop I've ever put in my mouth. It doesn't take much to make a bean burger or a vegan burger. You just mash some beans and oats a few spices maybe a little bit of onion and you've got a pretty good bean burger. This had rice and was really sloppy spilled over the bun. You had to eat around it as you could not close it and put your mouth to it . We were told that there's a new chef. I would suggest to the owner that he get a better chef or buy some packaged vegan burgers, veggie burgers, and use those. Very very disappointed compared to last time when we were here and they could put together a decent bean burger. read more

Had a great relaxing evening enjoying local brews, tasty eats and great ambiance. This place was just what we needed after a long day of hiking. Laid back, friendly and delicious. Special treat to walk in on a Saturday evening and finding a two top by the open doors (had to close them up when the storm rolled through). Then we were treated to some live acoustic sounds from Jess Moya. She played mostly original songs with a couple of covers thrown in. It doesn't get any better than, cold beer, good food and live music. Met the owners, very nice folks. It was also fun paying for our meal with my KC Chiefs debit card! Went for the first time on a Wednesday summer evening and was excited to sit outside on their open patio. We sat ourselves per the signs request. I had my boss in town and wanted to take her to a place that was local and had good reviews. Well I wish we had the same experience as others. The training server was very nice but her trainer not so much. She seemed like she was annoyed to be working and even more training. I'm pregnant so I didn't get a drink but my boss got the manhattan and seemed to have enjoyed it. We ordered the fig and pig flatbread that was fabulous! Really that's the reason this review is a 2 star Vs 1. Both of us ordered the salmon that came with mushroom risotto and vegetables. The meal came out too fast not timing the appetizer and it was even cold. The salmon and the glaze on it was good but very small for $28! The risotto was bland and as mentioned cold. We ate the salmon but really couldn't stomach the rest. When the server came back we told her that it wasn't good. Then the trainer came back and was with full attitude said oh so I heard it's not good... She didn't offer to fix it or anything! I just ended up asking for another flatbread. When the bill came she (trainer) said I took off one of the flatbreads. It was like okay thanks a lot for that! Not that I ever expect a free meal but there was so much more she could have offered, especially fixing the meal. It's not worth the price! I would be nervous to order an over $30 steak seeing how the salmon was and how the staff handled the issue. Only go for wine or whiskey and flatbread as an appetizer. By the way their happy hour is from 2-5 Pm which is such a waste. All HH should go until at the earliest 5:30 if not 6. Was wishing for a better experience! read more
