Ordered from here for the second time. Being from Buffalo, NY I certainly know what excellent pizza and wings are...in FL it's so hard to find quality pizza and wings. This food was just ok. Ordered the Sicilian pizza with an order of 10 wings. The dough, wasn't real pizza dough- it was very airy and crumbly. Their sauce tastes as if it is the same sauce they might put on their spaghetti. Yikes! If it is not, they need to improve their pizza sauce. Wasn't too impressed, but it was edible. The wings were pretty good in terms of taste, but small wings with hardly any meat. I guess for the Tamarac area, it's a good local spot, but I probably won't be ordering from here again. My photo is a photo of thier pizza, on a better day, I ordered here today and the sausage tasted like bad Chinese food sausage (imagine that), and the pepperoni was too far buried under the cheese that it didn't cook at all, they must have a new cook they need to immediately replace, do that and I think they will be back up to par, another problem is they covered me in onions on a single order of onions they covered the whole pizza in them, I mean slathered to smithereens I tell ya! The sauce is still umptuous and succulent and makes you feel like you are at lil grandma ginny's Italian kitchen table with your face stuck in her meatballs marinara! The occasional stray piece of oregano kicks you in the nose and you are reminded of the Italian taste you are in. Just needs a little repair as of late. read more

This pizza straight up looked like it was microwaved in grease. Took one bite and threw it out. I got half cheese and half pepperoni but it was so greasy the whole pie was engulfed in the pepperoni grease. Way too much sauce ... rolls were pure butter and parmesan..nothing garlic about these rolls ... in total 18 bucks I spent that I wish I had back read more

Average pizza place. Nothing separates it from all the others, despite all the five star reviews on here. It's a small shop with a few tables. The servers take your order, without need of writing anything down because there are no specials and their menu is the standard fare for a pizza place. Pizza is fine NY style, sauce is from a can, which makes the pasta dish pretty blah. Other better options to go than here. read more

Used to really like the pizza from this place but lately every time we order from them, the pizza comes burned and usually takes much longer than they say it will take for delivery. Today, the pizza came on time but again burned. Unless I order a thin crust, my pizza shouldn't crunch when I eat it. Seriously going to stop ordering from them. So disappointed. read more

I love pizza and I'm never against trying a new pizza place. I ordered pizza and garlic rolls from here for the first time this past Saturday. When it arrived, it was brought by a particular man, he was kind and all but shortly after tipping him he raised the dollars up and stated proudly, "I need to get more Google orders." When clearly I ordered off Yelp. It was an awkward moment. But back to the food, I regret ordering the Mexican pizza instead of pepperoni but at least the garlic rolls were good. read more

Very yummy and reasonably priced, At'a-a-Pizza is one of my favorite places to order delivery. I also go eat in from time to time. The pizza is good, but I usually order an eggplant parmesan sub or an eggplant parmesan meal. Their food is fresh, their sauces very yummy, and I love the balsamic dressing. The service is friendly and relatively fast, as well. I'd say the only negative thing I have to say about this restaurant is that they use The oldest credit card system in the world. If you order delivery and pay by card, they require that you give the delivery person your card so that they can rub a pen over carbon paper to capture the card information. It isn't really an inconvenience, most of the time. I assume that's what happens when grandma opens a pizza shop... you get delicious food and a glimpse into the past. read more

Hello Fellow Foodies. I wanted to update my review. This is still my families go to place for pizza, calzones, heroes and wonderful Italian entrees. We have enjoyed every meal we have eaten from chicken parmigiana to the snapper francese. I would recommend everything on the menu but some of my favorites are the snapper francese, eggplant parmigiana ( and I am picky about my eggplant) the chicken parmigiana, and shrimp scampi. I have to say nothing was disappointing. The service is always warm and friendly. When I wrote my first review I said the pizza was ok I have to confess I was not a pizza lover so even the best pizza would rate ok . I am a New Yorker and have had some of "the best pizza" , Ats a Pizza is right up there. What changed me to a pizza lover is the Sicilian pizza. It is fantastic and my favorite. You can add toppings but it is wonderful as is. My son loves their round pie. If you are looking for good food and warm friendly service I recommend Ats a Pizza. You will not be disappointed. We wanted to try something new for dinner and from the reviews, this pizza placed looked tasty. It's also right up the street, which is also great for when you don't know where to go for dinner. We ordered an x-large pizza with salami, meatballs, extra cheese, black olives and banana peppers. The pizza was thin crust, a personal favorite in our house, but wasn't crunchy. The toppings were pretty skimpy for the price and pretty greasy. The overall taste of the pizza was good despite not having enough toppings. The best part I would say was the garlic knots. They were sitting in a bunch of butter and garlic. I'm a sucker for bread and butter, add garlic and I'm totally a fan. I would go back just for the garlic knots. The price for the pizza would have been appropriate if it had the adequate amount of toppings for the size of the pizza. The garlic knots were a great price though. Overall it was good, just not great and I could get a pizza from another Italian place that has more toppings for the price. read more

Man it just sucks to have to even say it but this place went downhill in the past 3-6 months. Idk if they got a different guy making the pizza or they opted out to cheaper material or what but the pizza just don't taste the same anymore. I tried them when I had recently moved down from NY and they were actually very comparable. My experience with this place is usually hit or miss. But then again so are all the pizza places around Tamarac . I must say that they tend to be my default place when I want Italian and or pizza. I have eaten enough dominos when I was in college to ever actually want dominos even tho as far as consistency goes they meaning all the dominos type places have it down to a science. So basically I rather take my chances and call a mom and pop place. So this past order was a homerun . The pizza was right on the mark. I'm about to double down and see if they can do it again. I hope so, I really do. Seriously consistancy is the hardest. Especially when you are batting 1-0, my expectation is set high. Please don't let me down read more

Not too bad! We ordered a pizza and garlic rolls so can't comment on the entrees. The pizza was pretty good. Crispy crust and ample toppings. Also a good sauce to cheese ratio. Their sauce is a little on the sweet side. Ordered take out and the only negative I would give is that the girl who took my order was NOT friendly on the phone, but all smiles and nice when I picked up. Strange! Got an extra large pizza with pepporoni and extra sauce, also ordered some garlic rolls for pickup. Staff was friendly. They even opened the pizza box to show me the pizza. Thats a big deal because alot of places dont do that and you gotta check it yourself. Pizza looked amazing. Got home heated it up a little bit and then took a bite. Wow this was really good Pizza. The dough was soft but not too soft, cooked just right. The sauce was delicious. Plenty of cheese, sauce and toppings. I must say Im very impressed. You guys are doing something right, please keep doing it!!! If you live in the area go here. Dont bother with Goodfellas..this place also took 15 mins to get my food ready and it was hot when I picked it up. Goodfellas took 1.5 hours!! 5 stars and this is gonna be my Pizza place for now on. Unfortunately this is the only decent place with NY style pizza around here... because the customer service is disgusting! First off, the man who took my order had no manners whatsoever. When I told him that last time I ordered they had made a mistake in my order his response was "I highly doubt that" ... REALLY?! Then he asked me if I wanted add tip to the driver on my cc and I told him no. He then said, "well your going to give him cash when he gets there right?" FIRST OF ALL A TIP IS VOLUNTARY! We, the customers, are not OBLIGATED to give anyone a tip if we don't feel like it!! I am a very good tipper, but this man did not have any right to ask me if I was going to give cash to the driver because I didn't want to add tip on my card. read more

Just left the restaurant, the pizza is amazing. Good crust, great sauce and cheese. If you go here for pizza, it's lit. I also had the spaghetti with meat sauce......I wanted to cry it was so good. Thick noodles, very flavorful sauce, Amazing. My friend had some chicken pasta with Parmesan sauce, incredible. Finally do not go to this restaurant and NOT order garlic rolls. This is THE BEST pizza joint in all of Tamarac!! Guys, it's not just about the delicious pizza, it's about all their pastas, desserts, the service, the delivery! Our doormat says "Yell DING DONG" out front, and our delivery guy always says "Ding dong!" Hahaha They're so very sweet, very down-to-earth, and I've never had an issue with them! This is very good pizza, which is not easy to find in S. Florida I moved from NYC almost 2 years ago & am spoiled by having tasted some of the best pizza in the world there... It is not thin crust ,which is my very favorite style, but the crust is not too thick and it is charred just enough. The sauce is yummy and they use the right amount of cheese. read more

Been here a few times and every time I come here, it gets more delicious. Absolutely love the pepperoni pizza, it's an absolute must! Cannoli are so amazing also, one of the owners explained how they make them every morning and they taste so fresh. I've had the ravioli and rolls, both great. Really recommend this place! New to the Tamarac area, had a pizza craving and decided to try this restaurant. The family-friendly customer service was inviting and the pizza was delicious. After our server, Anthony learned that I ordered a 5 topping pizza against my husband's wishes, who really wanted a cheese pizza, he served our bill with 2 cheese pizza slices on the house. He said it was his pleasure to serve us what we really wanted and then sold us on returning by informing us about their early bird specials. We left with a to-go menu for ourselves and to share with our neighbors. We'll definitely be returning, but next time with friends! read more

I ordered a pizza to be delivered, upon arrival the the pizza was $5 dollars more they're website indicated so I asked the driver about it? The driver quickly stated that I must have an old menu, I informed him that I viewed the menu at their website. Next the driver called his boss, never asked his his boss how much the pizza cost but rather, Hey, this guy is complaining about how much tthe pizza cost. The driver eventually states that there is $3.50 delivery fee that isn't on the sale slip. I pay him with a $5 dollar tip and he leaves. I'm totally disgusted how this driver handled a simple question. I sat down to finally enjoy my pizza and after one slice, this 16 inch pizza went right into the rubbish, it was god awful, pure garbage folks. Steer clear folks, not worth it at all. read more

I love the pizza and the fast delivery service. My only concern is how oily the pizza is. The oil from the cheese is very overwhelming to the point you have use extra napkins to dry the oil from the pizza. Maybe they need to change the cheese or toppings. Also lighten up some on the crust. Its ok to be well done but not burnt, most time the crust is brunt. If you could see past those things you'll enjoy a really great pizza! read more

Stopped in on a whim with my mom the other night. We ordered off of their Early Bird Menu (soup, salad, entree, garlic rolls, drink and dessert! Also it's not such an early bird as it goes till 7pm!). Mom had the Homemade Lasagna and i had the Eggplant Parm with Spaghetti. Everything was very very tasty. Minestrone was rich and full of veggies and macaroni, the Lasagne was loaded with meat, cheese and homemade lasagna noodles. The Eggplant Parm was the best I've had anywhere around town. The slices of eggplant were thick enough so you could taste the eggplant not just breading. Pasta was cooked Al'Dente not mushy like other places. Portions were just enough for dinner. The garlic knots were good too. When you go try the fried cannoli it's to die for! It's not on the EB menu but its worth ordering, trust me! read more
