Friendly staff greeted us upon arrival, and we took a seat in one of the few booths the have in the restaurant. The menu consisted of typical pizza joint fare; Pizza, salad, subs, wings, mozzarella sticks, calzones, etc. But, all we came for was a classic cheese pizza. The pizza looked and smelled divine. My mouth is watering from the memory. I've seen a lot of reviews mentioning flimsy, non-crisp dough. If you're from New York, you know that the crust must have that perfect not too crisp, nor to chewy texture. This isn't meant to be an authentic, Italian style thin crisp crust! It is a near perfect NY style pizza. Only thing that's missing is NY water to make the dough 100% authentic. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Perfectly cooked. All in all, this spot is what reminds me of back home in Queens, New York. A no-frills basic pizza joint dishing out some delicious pizza. As of right now this is my favorite pizza spot. read more

I was raised in northern NJ. You could see The World Trade Center towers from our kitchen window. I may be Cuban but I grew up over an Italian family and I know what Italian is, I know how it smells and how it taste and I am so glad to say that I found it in Margate Florida. I ate a pizza from here a couple weeks ago while with the munchies. At first appearance it is not the greatest or most exciting to look at as a pizzeria. Inside could use some remodeling over and a respect for masks a little more. However, the reason i gave 4 stars was the friendly service and amazing tasting pizza. I ordered a simple pepperoni pizza, (if you mess up a pep pizza, rethink your menu) as i always do. The sauce had an amazing flavor with a gorgeous and crunch filled crust that the sauce really complimented entirely. The crust and the sauce on our pizza were really really good! No complaints there. The garlic rolls could've been a little more garlic and buttery but they were a cheap addition to our pizza. My only complaint is that because we were paying with a card instead of cash, our pizza was $4 more. We ended up paying $19 but a $4 charge for using your card. I'm a fan of this place! Even though it's not far from home, I didn't know about it until finding it on yelp, and decided to give it a try. I read all of the reviews, so i wasn't sure what to expect. I was attracted to their "Daily Special" of 1 large 16" pizza, and any 2 subs all for $23 (takeout or delivery only). Didn't sound too bad at all so I ordered a cheese pizza, meatball sub and steak bomb sub. I wasn't disappointed at all. The pizza was as advertised, large, cheesy and pretty awesome especially for the price. The sub's aren't huge nor tiny, but a great deal for the price. Both very fresh and on awesome bread. Everything was perfectly cooked, nothing burnt, nor undercooked. It took about 20 minutes to drive home through the traffic and it was still hot and ready to eat. I'd say the quality and taste of the food is better than any chain restaurant I've been to in a while. I also ordered garlic rolls which were packaged well in foil, and pretty average overall but not bad. The interior isn't eye-catching. I understand the reviews the call it dirty. Most restaurants cover up what customers can see to make it look appealing, this place sounds like they care, but just haven't found the time or resources to cover it up. That said, I'm a believer most restaurants are dirty behind the scenes, and just do a better job to cover it up to the eyes. I bet $70 worth of materials, and a day's work can turn this place from a 6 to an 8 easily on the interior though. What is a little disappointing, but possibly not fixable is the inside dining. They have around 5 tables inside to dine-in. Nobody was dining in when I was there and I don't blame them. it's hidden in the back and cramped, and you'd end up sitting next to boxes or other storage items. Not exactly comfortable for a customer. Even if I was a passerby and stumbled on the place, I probably would eat in my car or walk and eat rather than cramp myself in one of their tables in the back. But I'm pretty sure it's a design flaw of the building they moved into. No suggestions on my end on how to fix that one. Customer service was interesting, but overall good. The lady who took the phone order was quick, helpful and very cheerful. In person they were all in good moods and happy to help. Hats off to the delivery drivers during 5'oclock traffic. It's pretty inconvenient to leave and return no matter what direction you're coming from. The way the lights are and how dense the traffic gets, it can be a little frustrating. It's no surprise that I'm a fan of pizza, but I don't like the big chain stores (like Pizza Hut, for example). So now that I've moved, I needed to find a good mom & pop pizza place. I had some friends over to watch a movie, so I flipped through a coupon magazine and found Big Daddy's. I placed an order for delivery (we got a large cheese pizza, 10 wings and a 2 liter soda for $18), and they said it would be there in 45 minutes. Once the guy dropped it off, we dug right in. It wasn't piping hot, but it was delicious anyway. It was a good quality pizza - thin crust, a flavorful sauce and a perfect amount of cheese. I didn't have the wings, but I heard they were excellent. I was impressed enough that I saved the flyer and will most certainly order from them again. Definitely found a winner here! read more

I've gotten free zeppolis cause of a previous order being raw...only to have the complimentary ones come raw as well.
