I had my roof replaced which included two layers of shingles, one of which was the original shake shingle roof. There was so much debris in my attic afterwards that it looked like a dump. I called Attic Advisor and Nick came out to give me an estimate. He told me exactly what they would do and showed me photos of previous jobs they had done that looked similar to my situation. I was so impressed with Nick's explanation and professionalism that I decided to have Attic Advisor do the work. On the appointed day, the crew arrived right on time and got right to work. They put up plastic to protect my walls and laid down plastic on my stairs to protect my carpet. They actually created a plastic lined tunnel where they could take the debris straight out to their truck without it blowing all over my home. I had fiberglass batting and blown-in insulation that they removed. They vacuumed out the attic thoroughly. I was provided with photos taken before, during, and after the project was completed. The old insulation was removed, all holes and cracks in the floor and walls were sealed up, they used a fogger to remove any contaminants, and then they installed new fiberglass insulation. When they say one year warranty they mean it. Rats came back after 14 months since Attic Advisors supposedly sealed any potential entry points in the attic. I called the company and the sales rep who was initial point of contact and they would not stand behind the work they had done in May of 2024. Further, after inspecting the attic on my own recently I noticed they left all the ducts, which are worn out with age and leaking air consistently, totally untouched and never advised me about it. Yes, the were responsive at first - they wanted the sale. Yes, they came in and did the work they committed to. But that's where the honeymoon ends. If they stand behind their work they should stand behind their work. Now we are faced with paying another company to come in and do exactly the same, but better. From the bid to the install, everything was handled very professionally by Attic Advisors. Dominic telephoned that he was on his way and arrived on time to our appointment. I had a cheaper bid but chose Attic Advisors as they covered much more scope and scheduling was quick. Today, Tyler and his team arrived exactly at 8am. They taped off the work area, made sure I had pets under control and kept my front door closed because I had one loose kitty. They were very communicative and helped me take a box out of the upstairs hall pre-job. Every worker on the job was polite, wearing protective gear, and careful with my home. They called me at work to let me know the job was complete and they were cleaning up. I received the invoice by text and a phone call from Dominic to wrap up the service. Way to go Attic Advisors. Double check all of their work, ask for pictures, this company cannot be trusted. Attic advisor did the attic insulation in my house in August of 2023. We were looking to replace the insulation because the bedrooms in our house would get very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. Upon initial inspection all looked good and we felt a noticeable difference in 2 out of the 3 bedrooms. The last bedroom, the nursery, would read about 8 degrees hotter or colder than the rest of the house. We attributed the problem to poor airflow from the HVAC ducting. Two years later as we're in the middle of expanding the bedroom in question we come to find out that attic insulator did not insulate the bedroom! We immediately contacted them and when they came out they said that that part of the house was inaccessible. However during the quote (they came out twice for a quote, we called a different insulation company for a quote and the same person came again) and installation they never mentioned that any certain part of the house was inaccessible or that they wouldn't be able to complete a certain section. And if it was inaccessible why wouldn't they do blown in insulation or let me know that it could not be insulated? Attic advisor did not have any response to my questions other than they initially measured my house wrong. I find this to be horrible customer service considering that when I reached out to them I gave them the specific square footage of my house. Had we never done the addition to our house we would have never found out. I will be reaching out to the contractors state license board to file a complaint and seek damages for additional utility charges that were incurred. This is also after we just put in a whole new HVAC system and ducting to try and cool the room down better before the summer heat hits. David, please feel free to answer these questions. Why did no one tell me that the bedroom could not be insulated? How are you not able to do blown in insulation? Should I have another contractor come take a look? The square footage of that bedroom is 110 sq.ft., your quote says 956 sq.ft. Your quote was clearly wrong. However, when Nestor showed up to do the work he said that Clay measured wrong but not to worry the whole house would be insulated. There was never any mention of a certain part being inaccessible during the quote or when the work was completed. And to top it off I gave your company the chance to do the right thing but you and your company claim no wrong doing. read more

UPDATE: I'm not going to bother arguing with you on Yelp David. This could have easily been a positive review if you had called and apologized for your initial behavior. Instead you and your team bombarded my phone with calls after I wrote this review. You won't please everyone in business and I hope you can learn to understand that and work to fix your issues, not react so defensively to feedback. To give more context, the driver offered to come back to deliver at a later time cause he felt bad for me and your worker who fixed the walls was even shocked when you were screaming at me on the phone to remove my one picture. Even your own project manager, Dominic, acknowledged that he's never seen you so pissed off. I will not let you discredit my negative and unprofessional experience with your company. I can't recommend working with this company. I got multiple quotes with 5 or more companies and I felt like they all do the same thing so I decided to go with the cheapest quote. I thought Attic Advisors would provide better work because their office is located in a nice area and they were one of the few companies that offered workers compensation to their employees. On the day of, they told me to open my garage and someone will deliver the rolls of insulation in there. I thought there would be a crew to support the delivery man, but it was only him. It was pouring outside and the insulation bags had little holes on them. The delivery person explained he would have to roll them in the ground and they would get wet. I called the point of contact, Dominic, and told them I'm not accepting wet insulation in my attic. It's going to get moldy and take a long time to dry. He tried to gaslight me and say no it's not gonna happen, I'm worrying for no reason. They have extra. I called the boss, David, and the boss managed to reschedule my delivery for later that day. Thank goodness it stopped raining by then. They came and had 4 guys up in my attic and rushed the job. I even heard Dominic say something along the lines of yeah I'm just trying to get you guys home, which is disappointing to hear as a customer. After they left, I had multiple cracks in my home and I was so upset. I had unfortunately paid them with a check already and I didn't check for damages to the ceiling. First time doing insulation and highly recommend you do that. The owner didn't respond when I initially reached out and I was so worried they'd leave my house damaged. I finally heard back and they scheduled someone to come fix it. I noticed another crack on the wall the day they came to fix it. I'm not sure of the science. They said cracks would only appear on ceilings. Maybe this was an old crack that appeared again because 4 dudes were in my attic. Not sure. Owner didn't wanna pay for it. And I had accidentally, drafted a review and posted a picture of one crack. I didn't include any background and there wasn't a review associated with it. The owner called me and screamed at me on the phone and threatened for me to take it down. It was so unprofessional and rude. The cracks were resolved and the insulation works great but there are many insulation companies that do the same thing, what sets them apart is their customer service. At first we thought that they did a good job and we left a 5 start review - they ask all their clients to leave one and offer a discount for writing it. A couple months go by and my husband was spending more time in the attic because he's been building it out to store things up there and he found some issues. Trash that they left (if you're job is to clean an attic why would you leave trash??), random tools, alot of rat poop that wasn't sucked out, they bumped part of the HVAC thing and it separated and they never put it back together so for literally months we were running AC through our house wondering why it doesn't seem to be working right. So they aren't going to find these things. I definitely recommend checking their work after hiring someone to do this job... after spending like $8000 I really expected to not have any issue. Now a couple months later there is a rat in our attic making mess all over all the new insulation that I paid $8000 for. I told my husband they probably didn't seal everything right because look what they did with the rest of the job. He didn't believe it could be possible but then decided to look for a potential opening for rats to come through and he found one. I really just don't get how they messed this up so bad. Nick came out, did a review, showed me a few pictures of the current state of the attic--which I knew, and offered recommendations. I eventually chose them.
