Unfortunately, they missed a large opening, which allowed rats and squirrels to gain access. As a result, the infestation destroyed the insulation and damaged the ductwork--precisely the type of issue a comprehensive inspection and quality workmanship should have prevented. Their response afterward was equally disappointing. Getting callbacks was difficult, and they repeatedly failed to communicate as promised. They claimed to be fully prepared to inspect the issue, despite their technician not showing up for the scheduled service call. On the day of the appointment, Craig Williams from the warranty department told me they were unsure if anyone would be available to come to our home due to their busy schedule. Given the lack of consistent communication, this explanation, unfortunately, came as no surprise. Ultimately, we hired another HVAC company, who responded immediately and addressed the situation after our daughter suffered a severe allergic reaction to contaminants in the air, requiring the use of an EPI pen. If not for this medical emergency, we might have continued waiting for Home Comfort--Craig Williams and Yohan--to follow through. Given their failure to even return phone calls as promised, we likely would still be waiting for them to take action if we hadn't resolved the issue ourselves to protect our daughter's health. We made sure that both the HVAC company, who completed the repairs and Service Champions documented the damage with photos and videos, so we could provide Home Comfort with clear evidence. Unfortunately, this effort was in vain. They refused to come to our home to review the photos and videos in person, discuss the issue professionally, or address reimbursement for our expenses. Based on the missed opening, resulting damage, poor communication, and mishandled service appointments, I cannot recommend Home Comfort USA. Customers should carefully inspect any completed work and document every appointment and conversation. Craig Williams, their warranty staff member, initially informed me that the technician assigned to our home had not shown up to work, yet later brazenly denied that this incident occurred. This lack of integrity, accountability, customer service, and follow-through was both disappointing and demoralizing. Please do your due diligence--don't trust companies that solicit business at hardware stores or Home Depot like vultures. I have no doubt that Craig and Yohan are congratulating themselves for frustrating us to the point of giving up on any professional response from them, despite their ongoing ineptitude and lack of professionalism.

Several other reviews have stated that Nathan Jones lied to them to get them to sign the contract, so if he is still employed by the company and is the one that comes out to your home, that means they didn't let him go for repeatedly lying. Mr. Nathan Jones lied about the scope of the job to get us to sign the contract, pretended his computer had died so he had to have us sign the contract on a small tablet/ phone which is a common method they use to make sure you can't read the fine print, and they told us they could use a disinfectant appropriate for immunocompromised individuals but when the office was contacted to confirm told us that immunocompromised individuals should not use their company because they didn't use chemicals that were safe. The reason they have so many positive reviews is because they discount the price if you review them prior to them starting the job. They charged us $10,000 for a job that took 15 work hours for a single employee, and when I asked them why they were charging so much for a simple job prior to signing they assured us it was a BIG job that would require a whole team for four full work days.
