Double check all of their work, ask for pictures, this company cannot be trusted. Attic advisor did the attic insulation in my house in August of 2023. We were looking to replace the insulation because the bedrooms in our house would get very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. Upon initial inspection all looked good and we felt a noticeable difference in 2 out of the 3 bedrooms. The last bedroom, the nursery, would read about 8 degrees hotter or colder than the rest of the house. We attributed the problem to poor airflow from the HVAC ducting. Two years later as we're in the middle of expanding the bedroom in question we come to find out that attic advisor did not insulate the bedroom! We immediately contacted them and when they came out they said that that part of the house was inaccessible. However during the quote (they came out twice for a quote, we called a different insulation company for a quote and the same person came again) and installation they never mentioned that any certain part of the house was inaccessible or that they wouldn't be able to complete a certain section. And if it was inaccessible why wouldn't they do blown in insulation or let me know that it could not be insulated? Attic advisor did not have any response to my questions other than they initially measured my house wrong. I find this to be horrible customer service considering that when I reached out to them I gave them the specific square footage of my house. Had we never done the addition to our house we would have never found out. I will be reaching out to the contractors state license board to file a complaint and seek damages for additional utility charges that were incurred. This is also after we just put in a whole new HVAC system and ducting to try and cool the room down better before the summer heat hits. David, please feel free to answer these questions. Why did no one tell me that the bedroom could not be insulated? How are you not able to do blown in insulation? Should I have another contractor come take a look? The square footage of that bedroom is 110 sq.ft., your quote says 956 sq.ft. Your quote was clearly wrong. However, when Nestor showed up to do the work he said that Clay measured wrong but not to worry the whole house would be insulated. There was never any mention of a certain part being inaccessible during the quote or when the work was completed. And to top it off I gave your company the chance to do the right thing but you and your company claim no wrong doing. read more

After interviewing 4 different vendors to remove, sanitize, rodent proof, and replace my attic insulation, I decided to go with David at Attic Advisor. He made the process very simple, was flexible to my needs, and was very responsive throughout the process. When it came time for the project, his team was on time, protected my house and stairs very well, and were all very respectful and focused on the project. It was a hard job with many items including 2 antennas and rat droppings from the previous home owner who was quite the hoarder. Nestor and the crew took the time to make sure I was happy with the clean up before installing the new insulation as well which was very appreciated. I've been really happy with the team from Attic Advisor. We had some rodents rooming with us in the attic, and we got it cleaned out, decontaminated, and re-insulated. They're sealing off any cracks and gaps in the attic and grating up entry points. They're also throwing some termite killing concentrate (bought from HD) into the machine that decontaminates the area. Dominic and the rest of the team have been very considerate when coming into our home, with masking up, wearing booties for the carpet, as well as sealing the work area off with floor cover and plastic for the walls. Everyone from Dominic (the Advisor) to Austin (the job superviso) and all their crew were amazing! They arrived right on time and got to work. They were careful to lay a heavy paper on the floor and plastic barriers to protect our walls and furnishings. We opted for a heat barrier insulation shield in the attic to keep the heat out and make our air conditioning more efficient. They also replaced some ductwork that was broken. And all for half the price we were quoted by one of the big competitors! I can already tell the difference in the home temperature and now the A/C reaches all the rooms! They sent me before and after photos so I feel confident in giving Attic Advisors my full recommendation. read more

This company had the same presentation, information, etc at a substantially lower price. Very happy with the work.
