Last month I had Pro Service Insulation come and replace my insulation. They did a fantastic job. Rob came by and did the inspection and gave me a quote by the end of the day. I chose to have the old insulation removed, then I chose to have the attic Air Sealed and Radiant Barrier installed before refilling with R-38 loose fill. The whole job took 3 days. Their crew showed up promptly each day and cleaned up each night before letting me know what they had done and what to expect the next day. Home Advisor Steered us right! Pro Service Insulation is fabulous! The salesman, David B., was smart, knowledgeable, and in the business his whole life. Friendly, no pressure. We negotiated a "family discount" and the staff came with two trucks, a 25 hp blower, and sucked out all of the debris in our attic. It took a day and a half. The second day, they brought a different truck that was a "blower" that blew in cellulose through long hoses that they snaked through the house and into the attic. We saw a crew of about six hard working guys (that's gotta be the worse job on Earth!) who were clean, neat and polite. They have my highest recommendation! read more

TL;DR - don't hire them and waste your time. Initially, everything seemed great. They were prompt at providing written estimates. I wanted to change to a more expensive insulation material, which they also provided an estimate for. We scheduled the installation for 2-3 weeks after based on what was best for them. The Sunday before installation day, I get a call late at night to confirm the installation date for the following morning. The installation was actually Thursday. We got that scheduling snafu figured out, and then Thursday no show. Okay fine I called them and they said they could get someone out the next day. They apologized for the scheduling error, and I figured things happen. Then suddenly their suppliers are out of the insulation material we agreed on. Their reason for the last minute notice is that when they provided the estimate 2-3 weeks ago, their suppliers had it in stock. So they had done 0 preparation work like purchasing the material to have on hand for the installation. They offered to install with a different material, but I was done. Clearly they had no intention of actually performing what we had agreed on. I eventually hired someone else who was transparent about the supply challenges during COVID. read more

A couple of months ago I was in need of renovating a rental property. I figured that this would be a good time to see about replacing the insulation and cleaning out the attic. I was referred to Pro Service Insulation by an HVAC company listed on SoCalGas website and I'm so glad I was. I mostly dealt with Rob Arnold and what a knowledgeable and courteous man he is. Since I needed to get quite a few things done on the house the first was the insulation. Rob promptly returned my first phone call and came by to give me an estimate very quickly. I looked at their proposal and being new to insulation I got a couple more. Pro Service was very competitively priced and I decided to go with them because I had confidence in Mr. Arnold. They came out and started when they were scheduled and did a great job and even completed the job ahead of schedule. After the job was done I submitted applications for energy insulation rebates. The companies came back requesting more documentation. Levi Brown was quick to respond with the paperwork I needed so that I could give the companies the information they needed. So not only did Pro Servce give me a good price, do quality work, but they are very responsive. I will recommend them to any friends or family looking for insulation. read more

I paid for the top-of-the-line insulation, spray foam, and ROXIL, and in my master bedroom upstairs you can still hear everything that's happening outside, and the walls are very cold to the touch in the winter time, I've tried to work repeatedly with the sales person David, but after many back-and-forth emails, he has offered no solution to help me resolve this major catastrophic problem. I spent about $30,000 insulation my whole house in my master bedroom feels like it has no insulation at all. This is on a brand new new construction home. read more

If I could give this company a zero, I would. All I can say is do not use this company. Do not be deceived by their lower price. We hired them to replace the insulation in our attic. They came out to do the job on Oct. 24. The "kid" in the attic stepped on our main fire sprinkler pipe, saying "I didn't even see it there," broke it, and completely flooded our home. He didn't even know how to shut off the water to the system, which he should have known before starting work. The guy in the attic and the Rob, the owner, both admitted fault. The owner assured us his insurance would take care of us. We were displaced from our home for two months and have spent over $200K to have our home restored. Pro Service Insulation's insurance company has been dodging our calls and ignoring us. Pro Service has not responded to multiple calls. They have not completed the work. We have not been reimbursed for the destruction of our home. Avoid this company completely. They do not know what they are doing. read more

We were looking to replace the insulation in our attic which had the original product since the house was built, which was 50 years ago. We had several companies come out to give us an estimate. After some research we decided on PRO SERVICE INSULATION. Rob Arnold was the person who initially came to inspect and give us an estimate. He measured the walls and attic space and gave us a basic "101" on different types of insulation. We didn't want blown in insulation and went with R38 for the attic floor and R19 for the walls. Rob was very knowledgeable about all of the different types of products. He was patient and personable and he answered all of our questions. He was friendly and even our dog liked him. The day of installation his crew should up on time. Israel and Robert C. arrived and went immediately to work. They put down plastic from the attic to the front door and covered some furniture along the pathway to keep clean. They first help remove some boxes from the attic. Then they put on full jumpsuits and hazard masks and went to work taking old insulation down and out. They vacuumed whole attic and sprayed disinfectant throughout attic. They sealed up gaps in attic to make it air tight then proceeded to install new insulation. Both Israel and Robert C. did a fantastic job!! Both were personable and friendly and very hard working. They worked from 8-4:30 to get the job done. Thank you guys!! We would highly recommend this company. Very thorough and professional service. Will definitely refer to friends and family. read more

I got 4 estimates for putting insulation into both my attic and my first floor crawl space, including from Home Depot. This company had the best price by far. I don't typically always go with the lowest bid, but this was also clearly the best company. Levi answered the phone when I called and every other time I contacted him, he responded quickly and politely. He emailed me a detailed estimate stating what they were going to do. They came and did the work , cleaned up and left. All went smoothly. A few days later, my canned lights started flickering and I also suspected my whole house fan may have a problem as it seemed to be pulling less air. I contacted Levi and he right away set up an appointment to have someone come assess the situation. That person came exactly when he was supposed to (shocker- right??) and he fixed the canned lights, and went to lengths (crawling in the attic, taking photos) to show me that the whole house fan was operating as normal. And he was right! I was fooled because the fan noise was so much quieter due to the insulation, that I thought it was pulling less air. It wasn't . Excellent customer service, excellent product, and most important: they came back to fix any after issues and make sure the job was 100% complete! I HIGHLY recommend this company. read more

For the past few months, I have heard and smelled rodent activity in my attic. Having lived in my home for 41 years, it was time to have a company give me a quote to remove, clean, rodent proof and reinstall R-38 insulation. I contacted Pro Service Insulation and Rob Arnold responded the same day. He came out to my home and arrived at the scheduled time. Rob climbed up in the attic (very nasty place!) and performed a full inspection. He presented a detailed estimated of the work to be done by his crew. I accepted and scheduled for the work to be done. Rob showed up this morning with his installation crew (Paul and Dave) who went right to work. They covered all parts of the house with plastic sheathing. They removed 9 huge bags of 41 year old insulation, vacuumed the entire attic and filled another 6 huge bags of debris (including numerous deceased large rodents). They then finished by blowing in insulation to a depth to achieve R-38 standards. Paul and Dave cleaned up and left our house as clean as they found it this morning.
