Due to Yelp's maximum words rule, this review has been largely shorten…read more Can't say enough good things about the Builderwell team- They're a one-stop solution, and have done an excellent job for our just-under-800sq.ft DADU project in Irvine, and kept everything transparent over the Buildertrend App. In a golden triangle, where only 2 of 3 can be picked, Builderwell leans heavily towards "time efficiency" and "built quality". The ADU build is summarized into two general phase and one extra phase for us: Phase 1 = Arash the architect led the way on the planning, from 2D architecture drawings to 3D renderings; after the city approved to break ground, Alan the lead builder & team took care of the foundation & structure of the build, this phase was finished under 6mo., between Dec '24 till April '25. Phase 2 = Mahroo the interior designer led the way on the interior design, she provides further interior design & parts sourcing, that pieces everything else together inside the DADU once phase 1 was finished. Ariyan the project leader also helps greatly to sort out the communications between us & his team. This phase was finished under 3mo., even with much changes in the details such as appliances, between May '25 to August '25, including final inspections from the city. Phase 3 = Consider this icing on the cake, and optional phase that includes landscaping and utilities around the DADU in the backyard, as well as front yard touch ups. I've also hired 3rd party inspection which Builderwell 100% complied and made extra corrections thereafter. This last phase was finished under 3mo., between Sept '25 to Nov '25. Daniel came out and began some of the repairs but since neither have returned emails, calls or texts. I did reach out to the flooring manufacturer about the materials having that floating feeling and they stated that the floor does not need the blue material under the floor. They thought that that might be creating air pockets. Either way, the floor needs to be repaired. The following still needs to be completed. 1. Smooth out the concrete under the LVP flooring 2. Reinstall the LVP flooring 3. Repair cracked baseboard 4. The step down corner railing needs to be removed and replaced 5. The bead railing under the kitchen cabinets is not secured to the cabinets 6. The electrical outlet in the living room needs to be installed as it was covered with flooring. 7. Paint under the bathroom vanity 8. Paint the wall in my bathroom that was cut through the shower wall 9. Sink drains are silver (temporary by Daniel) need to be replaced with black. 10. The baseboards do not meet the flooring in several areas 11. The bedroom door handle does not function after the reinstall. I would love for the work that I paid for to be corrected and all necessary repairs to be completed.

You would be better off going to tile mile in Anaheim and contracting people yourself. That's where I found my counter people for the first remodel and they were fantastic and counters lasted almost 20 years. My counters now are barely over a year and all the seams look horrible. They pick cheap labor for all the work and that's exactly what you get, however, that's not what you are paying. They definitely overcharge for what you get.
